File Description:
FSX Aircraft-The Beechcraft Starship version 5.1. Beech was looking for a new generation of corporate transports. They looked to Burt Rutan's Scaled Composites Inc. to design and produce the SCAT1, an 85% scale technology demonstrator of a conard-configured aircraft. Successing in testing led to the Model 2000 Starship 1. The first of 3 flying pre-production Starship 1s flew on Feburary 15, 1986. After flying and statice tests, the first production machine flew on April 25, 1989. Created with FSDS 2.10. This model features reflective textures. This FS9 model has been modified to work in FSX. FSX Aircraft- The Piper Cheyenne III (PA42) version 2. On June 30, 1980 Piper began production deliveries of a new version of the Cheyenne range of twin turboprops aircraft. Intended for use as a six/11-seat corporate or commuter transport this Cheyenne III differs considerably from it's predecessors. So much so that Piper change the designation to PA-42. It has an increased wingspan, a lengthened fuselage and a more powerful Pratt& Whitney Aircraft of Canada PT6A turboprop engines. This model has been updated to work in FSX. The longest is a paved runway extending 2550 feet. The facility is at an elevation of 480 feet at a distance of about 2 miles from Pittstown. The airport has a control tower and handles 400-500 aircraft operations daily. Craig Municipal Airport serves Jacksonville and Duval County and is owned by Jacksonville Port Auth. The airport has more than one runway. The longest is a paved runway extending 4007 feet. The facility is at an elevation of 42 feet. THIS DOWNLOAD CORRECTS ALL REPORTED ERRORS FROM VERSION 1. FS2004 Scenery - Greater Binghamton Airport (IATA: BGM, ICAO: KBGM) is a medium-sized regional airport located in Maine, New York that serves the Southern Tier of New York, primarily Broome and Tioga counties. The airport was originally named Broome County Airport and that name remained through the 1970s. It was later renamed to honor the inventor of the aircraft instrument simulator, the Link Trainer, as Edwin A. Link Field-Broome County Airport, a name it kept until the 1990s when it was again renamed to the Binghamton Regional Airport. The name Greater Binghamton Airport was chosen in 2003 to match the area's new marketing campaign under a unified name. The field on which the airport lies is still named in Link's honor. FS2004 Scenery - Hadley Field in South Plainfield, N.J., USA was an early well lit grass airfield catering to Air Mail transport. Construction on Hadley Field started in 1924. The field stayed in operation until some time around 1968. Today there's not a trace of the field, only a marker where the airfield used to be. Scenery created with Instant Scenery by John B.
