Accurate rendition of the TIST and TISX airports. Includes accuarate gate numbering and locations for all airlines serving the airport as well as for general aviation aircraft. This is my continuing series of doing airports that have been neglected by both MS and the community. Hopefully this will enhance flying into this airport for those of you that frequent it. Unfortuantely there aren't many reference materials in terms of gate assignments or locations or numbering on the internet. I've flown in and out of this airport several times so most of this is from memory and a few shots I managed to find on airliners.net and jetphotos.net. It may not be 100% correct but it's pretty close and defientely a major improvement over the default scenery, which by the way...MS decided to place two large cell phone or radio towers right on the tarmac in front of the terminal, brilliant idea! If anyone out there knows of a way to remove them please e-mail me. Having said that, it's a beautiful island and a fun airport to fly into and out of. The St. Croix airport is also pretty much done from memory and a few photos since there isn't much reference material for gates, in this instance there aren't airline assignments to the gates since this is a smaller airport and the airlines pretty much are assigned random gates since there are only about a handful of gates. Again, though, definetely an improvement over the default. Now if only someone would do some landclass for the Virgin Islands ;-) Hope this enhances your flying into the sunny Caribbean!

This packet includes two repaints of the Supermarine Spitfire IX, of Royal Air
Force, which were flown by French airman in the following 2 squadrons:
No. 340 Squadron was formed on 7 November 1941 at Turnhouse as a Free French fighter
squadron equipped with Spitfires. In April 1944 it joined No.145 Wing, Second
Tactical Air Force, a wing made up of French fighter squadrons. The squadron
served with the occupation forces in Germany, before on 25 November 1945 being
transferred to the Armee de l'Air.
The aircraft: serial BS392, code GW-S, was flown by S/Ldr Bernard Duperier,
Duperier flew this Spitfire only rarely in the period from October 25 to November
7 1942.
No.345 (French) Squadron (GC II/2 'Berry') was formed on 12 February 1944 at Ayr,
from French personnel transferred from North Africa. It served with 2nd Tactical
Air Force, taking part in the liberation of Europe in 1944-45. After the war the
squadron remained on the continent, and on 21 November 1945 it was transferred
to the Armee de l'Air. Even in RAF service, French roundels were used.
The aircraft: serial PT766, code, 2Y-A, was flown by Jean-Marie Accart, known under
Nom-de-Guerre 'Bernard', became famous during the campaign in France in 1940.
He commanded GC 1/5 and is credited with 12 German aircraft destroyed.

The Realair repaintkit was used for making this repaint. The following items
were done extra:
- Redone all stencils and added lots more, so far i could find information and pictures on the internet;
- Pilot is repainted completely;
- Redone some bump-maps for some more detail (with RealAir approval);
- Several textures are now HD, 2048x2048 pixel for more detail;
- Improvement of the some details.

| Dutch Harbour PADU in Alaska PLUS AI Air & Sea |

This is a revised and much-added-to update of my earlier Dutch Harbor post, adding more Air & Sea AI. It is complete in itself and does not require you to have previously installed the original. New parking is for a civilian freighter, a Coast Guard C-130, and Coast Guard helicopters that fly from St Paul Island.
There is also a daily flight from Dutch Harbor to Akutan that will be by the amphibious Goose as there is no land runway at Akutan [more posts follow].
The official airport name is Unalaska, but a seat booked with airlines will be to Dutch Harbor, known from the tv series as a fishing centre with major fish and crab processing plants. In town the largest company is Unisea, taking up all of what was once Expedition Island and the adjacent shoreline. The out-of-town expansion is taking place along the shore of Captains Bay to the southwest, and here the largest is Westward with the uniform green roof for the plant and the residential buildings for seasonal workers.
The airport has just over 3,900 feet of 100 feet wide asphalt, aligned 30/12, lit, and between sea and hill with two aprons at the southeast end. There is no control tower at the airport, so don't be surprised when you are required to contact Cold Bay USAF for landing permission. Runway 30 has at its threshold a road; when a plane is landing or taking off traffic is stopped by barriers and lights. To encourage full use of the runway the fence is made up of plastic rods that bend on impact instead of chainlink topped with barbed wire that will turn a light plane upside down.

| Bethel area airfields in southwest Alaska close to the Yukon River |

This presumes you have already installed my post of Bethel PABE. In the Yukon River area of Alaska there are a lot of small villages close together, which is unusual for Alaska. Almost all of them are on the coast or a river bank, and the local economies depend on fishing. Some are larger than others and have a fish processing plant, such as in Emmonak. This is the largest such plant and it exports prepared fish by cargo planes which fly in on a daily basis, using an extended runway. This post includes airfields to the south and west of PABE, 17 of them; some of them already included and now modified. There will be more airfields to the north and northwest of Bethel in a future post. There are revisions to Bethel to include parking spaces for Yute Air (newly included here) and extra spaces for Ryan Air. Both of these flew Cessna 205 planes into the smaller village strips from Bethel (past tense as Yute Air recently went bankrupt). The northwest area is served both from Bethel and also from St Mary's PASM, which is in the northwest and at a more economical range to the local airfields (100 miles closer than Bethel). These smaller airfields have few airfield buildings or any other creature comforts; featuring heavily are a new standard blue garage building (sometimes not yet installed) and a small and old terminal shed (that has sometimes collapsed and been removed). Go to "http://vfrmap.com/" for free vfr maps of the area, There is a pic of the local chart area included here. The screenshots are a random sample. Kipnuk PAKI is the one that appears to have a second and long grass runway; what it actually has is the ground prepared for a new and long gravel runway but which hasn't been started yet as it has taken 10 years just to prepare the ground. I have no idea why.

| Iles de la Madeleine CYGR in Quebec Canada |

The Iles de la Madeleine are a group of spit islands linked by bridges in the Gulf of St Lawrence. They are east of New Brunswick, north of Cape Breton Island, west of the Island of Newfoundland, and south of the mainland coast of Quebec. On a southwest to northeast axis they are 40 miles in length and the airport CYGR is pretty much at the midpoint of the southern line of islands. Take a look at the overhead from FS9 to see what I mean. CYGR has two runways, one is aligned 08-26 and is just under 4,400 feet long and 150 feet wide with lighting and PAPI at both ends. The second is aligned 16-34 and is 3,600 feet long and 150 feet wide, without lights or PAPI. Both are asphalt. The apron is not huge, and a newish (in 2010) hangar was built with separate access to the 16-34 runway. There are daily flights by Air Canada and Pascan Aviation included in the AI. The AI also includes some boats and a ferry, and I first used these with my Dutch Harbor scenery, so if you have that already.... This scenery also includes Cindy Hook, a small boat harbour just 2 miles southwest of the airport, and the larger harbour at Cap aux Meules a further 3 miles away that accommodates the daily ferry trips, along with fishing boats etc. Also included here is a further addition to the Homer PAHO scenery in the shape of a boat that is included in the Homer Spit harbour. Just add the contents of the scenery folder to the Homer scenery folder of your Homer installation, and the texture folder contents to the Homer texture folder. Anticosti Island is in the Gulf of St Lawrence, around 25 miles off the Quebec mainland coast. It is some 40 miles wide and 130 miles long on an east west axis. There are few urban areas and only one that can be described as a small town, namely Port Menier at the western end of the southern coast, with a population of under 1,000. There is a ferry service to the harbour. The airport, Port Menier CYPN, is around 3 miles northeast of the town, with an asphalt runway aligned 11-28, 4,875 feet long and 150 feet wide with PAPI at each end. In 2010 (the approximate date of this scenery) a gravel runway was still visible at the eastern end of the field. This was no longer in use by 2010, except perhaps by small planes on skis in the winter. The island, with its small population, small urban area, and no industry other than logging, has as a result a mainly undisturbed wildlife population. This has made deer hunting and fishing the main tourist activities, with one company (called Safari) having an exclusive licence to exploit large areas of mountains and rivers. Planeloads of hunters and fishermen are flown in on chartered Nolinor Aviation planes from the south. There are a further two airfields in the eastern end of the island, and in 2010 Rivere-Aux-Saumons CTH7 had a 5,500 feet gravel runway, linked by road to a lodge area at the mouth of the river. This is the only lodge area that I have been able to locate, but there are others. To the south Riviere Bell CRB5 had at that time a gravel runway that was 3,000 feet long. This is a complete upgrade of vicenh05, Victoria, Canada area scenery for FS9. New in this version: automated installer and configurator from Ken Peters; several detailed models including the Empress Hotel, the Legislature, the Regent Hotel and the Johnson St. Bridge; greatly enhanced Inner Harbour; many generic buildings representing buildings throughout the area; 7 new small airfields with sloping runways; seven new floatplane bases (owners of Vancouver+ get extensive floatplane traffic in local liveries); 7 new heliports (Vancouver+ users get additional heli AI traffic) and a myriad of minor fixes and improvements. Included from previous versions are revised shorelines, landclass and 19m mesh and buffer meshes for South-Eastern Vancouver Island; boat docks with static boats, seaplane docks and terminal buildings for Harbour Air, Kenmore Air and West Coast Air; piers, buildings, breakwater and other components of the Ogden Point Terminal; dock, service building and pilot boats of the Pacific Pilotage Authority; Odgen Point Cafe and Dive Shop; marine navigational lights for Victoria Harbour and area, including Esquimalt harbour and Oak Bay; antennae location corrections for the area; AFCADs included: Land based (CML2), Floatplane (CAB3, CAP5, CAP8, CAV8, CAW7, CAX6, CMAP, CYWH), Heli (CAL7, CBF5, CBF7, CBK8, CBW7, CBW9, CBZ7, CMBH); AI craft models and repaints (Cruise ships are repaints of Asuka model by Mitsuya Hamaguchi: MS Amsterdam of the Holland America Line travelling from Victoria to Vancouver, MS Summit of the Celebrity Cruise Line travelling from Seattle to Victoria); S-61 Sea-King helicopter in Helijet colours; Pacific Pilot custom vessel working from the Pilot dock; 22, 30 and 40 foot vessels plying the harbour and nearby Straight of Juan de Fuca.
