Douglas DC-2 American Airlines Aircraft/Panel

File Description:
From the brilliant original of Jan Visser comes this mild repaint of his DC-2 in American Airlines livery. It is the companion aircraft to Ernest K. Gann's AM 21 flight plan (am21ekg.zip). Contains total surround panel package, including wing views by Robert and Daniel Fall; Ben Wang's AAL 1930s cabin converted to DC-2 by James Underwood (with 30s celebs), pilot's side views and a vintage panel photographed by Joseph Rhensius, Propfreak Productions. Also has authentic Douglas yoke by Mike of AirNikon. Uses Sperry Mark III by Arne Bartels, but also has pop-up default radios and GPS for the lazy. Panel uses ADF only, in keeping with the period, and features gauges by James Undrwood, Ernie Kennedy and Kevin Trinkle. Flies beautifully, with great FPS.

The package includes five types of effects with xml-gauges ("afterburner", "engin-flame", "wing-contrail", "flap-contrail" and "engin-smoke"), and four types of xml-gauge_Switch ("afterburner", tailhook", "canopy open" and "spoiler" ). Not just the afterburner's xml-gauge, but also an effect appearance and a key operation of the afterburner are automatically controlled, by a throttle operation.This means to enhance reality when you use an aircraft which is designed to consider changes in fuel consuming by using the afterburner. USAF T-33A 97th Fighter Interceptor Squadron

File Description:
Lockheed T-33A Serial# 51-9176 stationed at New Castle AFB, Wilmington DE. 1953-1958. C/C A/1C D.E. Doyle. This aircraft was involved in two in-flight collisions, surviving both. As a result of the second collision, the right wing spar had to be spliced, making it the only "T-Bird" at that time to have that repair done. The aircraft was flown to Edwards AFB to be evaulated. The test pilot was Col. Chuck Yeager. The aircraft was returned to service. This paint was done for Dave Doyle, who was in the back seat during both accidents and the Crew Chief at the time. Quite a history with this bird. Textures only. Tim Conrads T-33 (t-33ppp.zip) required.

RAF C-45 Expeditor "Bucket of Bolts"

File Description:
This aircraft texture represents the RAF C-45 Expeditor that presently exists in the Dixie Wing of the CAF. It won the Tyron Power prize for best transport at EAA Oshkosh in 2002 and 2003 and represents the actual aircraft flown by Col Vic Hewes, who flew it in the service of the RAF in World War II. The "Bucket of Bolts" is painted and marked identically--right down to the numbers on the side and the colors selected from matched paint chips--to an Expeditor that Col. Hewes flew. Texture by Paul Corish This texture will work equally well with either the simTECH Beech_18 or Cliff Presely's masterfully redone version Beechcraft C-45G. Either the simTECH or Cliff's model is required. Install instructions are included.

Takhli Royal Thai Air Force Base (Scenery Upgrade)

File Description:
An upgraded model of Takhli Royal Thai Air Force Base as it appeared in 1970 at the height of the Vietnam War. Takhli was the home of the USAF's 355th Tactical Fighter Wing, which flew F-105 Thunderchiefs and RB/EB-66 Destroyers. A large number of KC-135 tankers were also stationed at Takhli. In December 1970 the 355th TFW was deactivated and the USAF side of the airbase was closed. However, it was reopened in April 1972 and served as a major base of combat operations during the Linebacker I and II campaigns. This enhanced model supercedes the Takhli scenery that was uploaded three years ago. It should be compatible with FS 2004. Requires the trees_v3.zip object library by Gerrish Gray.

TBD-1 Devastator "P-4" Prewar

File Description:
This skin depicts a fictitious pre-war paint, It's authenticity is not true to form. The original t.bmp and d.bmp files have been modified to include "right side" texture and damage. This skin is an unmirrored paint of the stock aircraft, spoked wheels have been added, the rear gun is back to it's original color, the wing insignia have been moved inward to a more realistic position, the paint has been given a "hue" to take the vividness out of the color, and the color combinations have been done in such a way as to make the skin a "hybrid" of sorts . . . not your run-of-the-mill aircraft, but just a bit more "eye candy." File Description:
FS2004 PAD Dehavilland Dash8-Q202. A modified twin turboprop regional airliner. Australian Customs Service, operated by Surveillance Australia. An all new FSDS2.24 design with 2D panel, Dynamic VC, and Custom Sound. In addition, a custom TCAS (Traffic Collision Avoidance System), a complete Ground Handling module with push back and taxi speed control and the latest version GPWS (Ground Proximity Warning System) is included. The visual model features an opening airstair with detailed cabin interior, operating lift dump and roll control spoilers, passenger wing and cabin views, and high definition reflective textures. A comprehensive set of html documents (Check List & Ref List) are included for in-flight information. A separate Panel_Docs folder accompanies this release with panel and systems help files and pilot's notes and more.
