Re-upload. Alternative, light grey-blue textures for the RealAir Spitfire 2008 Mark IX High Altitude Flight's BF273 aircraft. Some sources describe this livery for BF273 (rather than the default's dark blue) -- but whichever, they both show off the beautiful lines of RealAir's wonderful model. On 12 September 1942 this aircraft, flown by Flying Officer Emanuel Galitzine -- a Russian prince -- fought the highest air battle of WW2. Flying BF273 he intercepted a Junkers JU86R above Southampton at 41,000ft the battle continuing up to 43,000ft.
Although Galitzine's cannon jammed and the Junkers escaped with just one hit, it was enough for the Luftwaffe to cease high altitude attacks against England. DXT5 textures by Grant MacLean.

Re-uploaded. Wings of Power Republic P-47D-30-RA "Duck-Butt",#44-20372, flown by Lt. Arthur G. Witters of 392nd FS, 367th FG,spring 1945,France.Lieutenant Arthur G. Witters is awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for extraordinary achievement in aerial flight against the enemy. On 28 March 1945, while leading his squadron on an armed reconnaissance, Lieutenant Witters distinguished himself by outstanding airmanship and leadership. Coordinating and directing his attacks in a superior manner, Lieutenant Witters was responsible for the remarkable toll of destruction wrought by his squadron against enemy transports and installations. | P-51D 2nd Scouting Force "Calamity Jane" & "Rugged Rebel V" |

File Description:
This folder contains two repaints for the Shockwave World War II Fighters P-51D Mustang. They represent two aircraft from the 2nd Scouting Force, based in Steeple Morden, UK. The scouting force consisted of former B-24 pilot that had finished their tour, had converted to the Mustang, and scouted the weather and opposition ahead of the bomber formations. Included are YF-Q "Rugged Rebel V", flown by Capt Richard Dillon, and YF-X "Calamity Jane", flown by the commander of the 2nd SF, Lt.Col. John A. Brooks III. He named the aircraft after his wife, Jane Brooks.
Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the repaint kit by John Terrell. It should work in both FSX and FS9.

Repaint textures for A2A Simulations' FSX WoP North American P51D Mustang depicting the personal aircraft of Wing-Commander James 'Jas' Storrar, DFC and bar. Storrar scored 15 victories during the Battle of Britain flying a Hawker Hurricane, later escorting Mosquitoes during the famous attack on Gestapo Headquarters in Copenhagen 1 March, 1945 and Lancasters on their destruction of Hitler's 'Eagle's Nest' at Berchtesgaden in April, 1945 He flew this particular aircraft with RCAF 442 Squadron on May 9th to provide top cover during the liberation of the Channel Islands. Entries in Storrar's log book confirm that his ground crew kept this aircraft highly polished. (Previous version had over 3900 downloads). Textures by Grant MacLean/A2A Simulations

This was requested by Basil Münger on the Project Airbus Official Facebook Group.
The livery in the texture folder has dirt on it, but there is textures without the dirt, it is inside a folder named "Clean Textures"
There is also a folder that consists of 3 PSD files of the lightmap of the fuselage of A320 that you can use!
Credits to Vladimmir Lucero Vinueza for the A320_misc_2 file, which I renamed to A319_misc_2 to work here. The tires exactly matched as the one in real life.
He uploaded it in the Project Airbus Official Facebook Group.

No one bothered to make a livery of the airline in its old colors for the Thomas Ruth model, so I might as well try it!
I originally planned on making multiple liveries based off this aircraft, as well as the New Colors of US Airways and the American Airlines Colors. But unfortunately, it would be time consuming.

This AI-Package contains several beautiful airplanes: Bell-UH1D, Hamburger Flugzeugbau: C-160 Transall, Heinkel: He-111C, Lockheed: T-33A T-Bird, Martin: B-26 Marauder, Nord Aviation: ND2501 Noratlas and last not least the North American: Harvard Mk.41 T-6. Most of these aircraft perform "Touch and Goes" in the local traffic pattern at Landsberg-Airbase per attached flightplan and some C-160 Transall go IFR to Hohn (ETNH, homebase of LTG63), Wunstorf (ETNW, homebase of LTG62), to Sarajewo (LQSA) and Pristina (LYPR). All the attached outstanding airplanes have been created by well known designers (see briefing). My part was just to put them together and to generate an almost reasonable AI-Flightplan.

The P.212.03 was Blohm und Voss entry into the Emergency Fighter Competition to take advantage of the new He S 011 jet engine. Three prototypes were ordered and construction began in May 1945. The first aircraft was to make its first flight in August and the second aircraft was to be ready by September 1945. Of course, the end of the war ended all construction. Features: realistic Flight Dynamics, realistic Sound and Panel, realistic Damage Profile, full moving parts, two liveries: Green Camo and Air Grey. Model, Textures and Damage Profile by CM Carlson. | B-24 USAAF 489th BG "Sharon D" |

File Description:
This Ford-built B-24H was assigned to Lt Col Leon Vance, deputy commander of the 489th BG. It was Vance who had brought the aircraft from the US to Halesworth. The bomber was named after its pilot’s infant daughter Sharon, who had been born in 1942. Lt Col Vance was flying a different aircraft on the 5 June 1944 mission against a German coastal defence complex near Wimereaux, France-a mission in which the latter aircraft was lost, and for which Vance was awarded the Medal of Honor. He was the only B-24 crew member in the Eighth Air Force accorded this distinction whilst flying a mission from the UK. Vance was heading home to recover from combat wounds when he went down on a C-54 Skymaster carrying wounded and crippled veterans over the North Atlantic on 26 July 1944. In October 1946, at the age of four, Sharon Vance travelled via US Army Air Forces transport to Enid, Oklahoma (now home of Vance Air Force Base), for a ceremony in which Maj Gen James P Hodges gave her the Medal of Honor awarded to her father. Today, daughter Sharon Kiernan of San Diego, California, is an Air Force wife, and she helps to keep alive the memory of her father, and of the bomber named after her. The Sharon D retained its nickname throughout the war, and was eventually transferred to the 445th BG. It survived the conflict, and was eventually broken up for scrap.
