Royale quickly expanded to serve other cities in Texas,Louisiana, and Mississippi. And also flew into Memphis,Tn. and Pensacola,Fl. Royale operated 2 DC-9s between Houston (IAH) and Brownsville/South Padre Island,Tx (KBRO) for about a year. Royale operated a variety of aircraft including Gulfstream G-1's ,Shorts 330's ,EMB-110 "Bandits" ,DHC-6 Twin Otters and Beech 99's. Royale Airlines ceased operations in 1988. I will always remember Royale, for it was my very 1st job ,just out of High School. As Always,Enjoy!
