File Description:
FS2004 Airspeed AS57 Ambassador repaint in the L'Air Azur VA colors. These are textures only for the awesome AS57 model by D-GHHH simulationware by Georg Hauzenberger and Hans Hermann. I have added a reflective shine to the aircraft simulating the feel of the aircraft as it was fresh from the factory.
Also included are 2 splashscreens and a cutaway diagram of the real life Ambassador. A wonderful medium size airplane with great handling and looks.
Requires as57base.zip available here at AVSIM. Enjoy a great classic!

CV-240-8, cn 38, bought by Ethiopian Airlines from Sabena in July 1956 and registered ET-T-22. Sold by Ethiopian Airlines on July 8, 1960. After serving for several companies finally bought by Mission Air Lift Inc. on November 1, 1976. Crashed after engine failed on take off at Clewiston, Florida on September 4, 1978.

Bought by Mohawk Airlines on January 10, 1957,
registered N1013C and named "Airchief Erie". Bought
by Fairchild-Hiller Corporation in January 1967.
Bought by Houston Aviation Products in November 1968,
withdrawn from use and stored. Broken up at Houston,
Texas in 1975. Textures and associated model file

First flight of Convair CV-240-0 with cn 80 on July 14, 1948. Delivered to American Airlines on July 23, 1948, registered N94239 and named "Flagship Lake Superior". On August 10, 1964 bought by Trans-Texas Airways. In December 1967 cn 80 was converted to Convair CV-600. N94239 was last spotted at Tucson International (TUS) in a derelict condition in 1986. Convair T-29A (240-17), cn 189, delivered to U.S. Air Force in 1950 and assigned to the USAF Tactical Air Command, where she got a very unique livery showing the squadron patch on the tail. The aircraft was stored at Monthan Air Force base (Arizona) in December 1973. On May 3rd, 1977 she was sold to Allied Aircraft Sales Inc. and broken up. File Description:
Avro 685 York C1 G-ANTK in 1960s Dan-Air livery. Entered RAF
service as MW232 in August 1946. Joined fleet of Allied aircraft engaged in the Berlin Airlift in May 1947. Became G-ANTK in July 1954 with Dan-Air and was used for freight work until her retirement in May 1964. G-ANTK is now part of the exhibition at Duxford's Hangar 2. File Description:
Avro 685 York C.1 MW126 was delivered to Royal Air Force 511 Sqn. on Sept. 09, 1944. Eventually, MW126 was allocated to RAF Northolt on Oct. 10, 1944. This repaint is dedicated to the people who lost their life on board of MW126 on November 14, 1944, when it crashed in a blizzard into high ground at Le Rivier d'Allemont, near Grenoble, France. Gmax exterior model and paintkit by Manfred Jahn, FDE by Paul Edwards, repainted by Hans Hermann, Virtual Birds Factory, idea and historical data by Daniel Durand.

Air Atlantique Douglas DC-6A Liftmaster, Reg. Id. G-APSA, c/n 45497/995, as seen in September 2007 at Lelystad and Hamburg Airport Days. Shows vintage livery of KLM PH-TGA named "Dr. Ir. M.H. Damme” as the original PH-TGA participated in the 1953 London-Christchurch Air Race. The DC-6A was an extended DC-6 with cargo doors and a reinforced floor for carrying cargo. Textures only. A FS2004 scenery of the “Gerald R. Ford International Airport - KGRR in Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA, original made for FSX by Dillon Rocque. He was so kind to give permission for a conversion that is done by Greg Peters, Greg Putz, Hans Günther Schnell, Claus-Peter Sassen, Kobus van Wyk and Dedl Klemmt – all members of the FS2004-Team-Forum. The scenery has custom made buildings, custom runway and taxiways and a seasonal changing photo texture and lots of “eye candy†(please read the installation instructions).

File Description:
Convair CV-240-12, c/n 156. Delivered factory fresh to Sabena on March 30, 1949, registered OO-AWS and used on the company's European network from May 1949 on. Repainted during the summer of 1951 in the white-topped Sabena livery, with further modifications made to the tail livery in 1953. Served with the airline until replaced by the Convair CV-440 Metropolitan in 1956, sold to LOT of Poland on October 14, 1957, and re-registered SP-LPC. As such initially used by LOT on international routes and later, after its replacement by Viscounts and IL-18s, on domestic routes, until sold on January 17, 1966 to Westernair of Albuquerque and re-registered N656W. Subsequently operated by several operators in the US before being withdrawn from use sometime in the 1980s.
