| Grumman F3F-2 VMF-2 Section Leaders, Part Two |
|
File Description:
Marine Fighting Two (VMF-2) had full compliment of eighteen F3F-2's. This archive contains textures for two section leaders' aircraft. These aircraft show the post-1937 style of Marine aircraft markings, with the mission letter prefixed by the letter M. This model actually replicates a later F2F-2, but it's the only F3F available for FS2002. Requires Paul Clawson's Grumman F3F, available on this website. Repaint by Mick Morrissey. Thanks to Paul Clawson for releasing this classic carrier fighter. A special tip of the flying helmet to sim pilot and ex-Marine Heather Sherman, who gave me the tools and knowledge to work with extended bitmaps.

| Grumman F3F VF-3 Section Leaders, Part Three |
|
File Description:
A pair of section leaders' aircraft from Fighting Three (VF-3 "Felix The Cat") aboard the U.S.S. Lexington. Fighting Three normally flew from the Saratoga, but in 1939, when the Lexington's VF-2 was ashore transitioning from their old F2F's to their new F2A's, VF-3 painted its tailfeathers Lemon Yellow and went aboard the "Lady Lex" for a Carribean cruise. Fighting Three flew the F3F-1. This model actually replicates a later F2F-2, but it's the only F3F available for FS2002. Requires Paul Clawson's Grumman F3F, available on this website. Repaint by Mick Morrissey. Thanks to Paul Clawson for releasing this classic carrier fighter.

| Aer Lingus McDonnell Douglas DC-10-30 Old Colors |
|
File Description:
1st Aerosim DC10-30 repaint ever on Avsim. I am pleased to announce that a special repaint to celebrate the impending 100,000th download of my work from Avsim. Thanks to Avsim for hosting my work. These are textures for Aerosim's payware "Classic Airliners 2" series. There are a lot of L1011 repaints for that model, but this is the first DC10-30 repaint as no-one seems to be doing any. Aerlingus only operated a McDonnell Douglas MD11 not the DC-10 but this is my depiction of how it would look in the OC (old colours). Enjoy. www.projectshamrock.tk SPECIALLY PAINTED FROM GRAHAM SMITH over @ IFSD.

| Island in the Sky Douglas C-47 Skytrain USAF 'Corsair' |
|
File Description:
Based on original textures by Jan Visser, this texture set is a representation of the fictional USAF C-47 flown by John Wayne as Dooley in the 1953 classic film, "Island in the Sky". It is intended to complement an article written by Harold "Farmboyzim" Zimmer for the December 2007 issue of "Computer Pilot" magazine. Harold's review of "Island in the Sky" can be found at http://farmboyzimsflightsims.com/IslandintheSky_film_review.html. The texture set requires the base R4D-6/DC-3A package available from Mid Atlantic Air Museum Simulations (MAAM-SIM) at www.maam.org, together with two subsequent free C-47 enhancements to that product. By Mark Beaumont.

File Description:
Lufthansa Retro 747-8i (D-ABYT). PMDG 747-400 is required. This is a livery for the expansion -8i. FSX only.
In honor of the 747 legacy, Lufthansa has painted their last 747-8 (last pax 747 order ever) in their old livery.
This livery was sported on the 747-200s back in the 70-80s. This is not a fictional livery and the registration
is real. Enjoy this timeless classic Lufthansa livery on the modern and advanced 747-8i. The 747 era might be coming to an end, but the memories will last forever. Thanks to Lufthansa for making their last 747 order end with a pleasant surprise.

| Fairchild C-119 Flying Boxcar |
|
File Description:
With the kind permission of Daisuke Yamamoto, this package is a rework of his wonderful model of the Fairchild C-119 "Flying Boxcar." Included is his original paint scheme and I have included two more, one for "Bush Flying Unlimited" and the other for my friend Bob Arthur, "Reddog's Air Service;" both sets rendered in 32-bit hi-res format with no mip-maps.
The configuration files have been reworked by the talented Mr. Herb Morse and Brian Gladden to provide flight characteristics as close as possible to the real thing.
Thank you Mr. Yamamoto for providing the flight community with such a wonderful model of a classic workhorse.

File Description:
This is my second work dedicated to the best 747-200 that the flight simulation from PC has created: the 747 ready for pushback. Plane extraordinary and complex. Classic Wide body for excellence. Years pass and be updated only in terms of graphics.
Council introduced to the ins CIVA simulafly and other patch on the network.
In this work, I continued to edit the Virtual cockpit providing a new static Shiva, the third group Ap you to insert the (fictional) and improved color rendering whole. VolateRFP 200! and you will not regret, boredom does not exist on this lineru. PS I do not know if they work in FSX.

| Pacific Northwest Airports 1960 |
|
File Description:
We've produced this scenery to provide new GMAX terminals, taxiways, buildings and details as they were around 1960 for Seattle, Washington and Portland and Salem, Oregon. I've also created 34 smaller classic airports in Idaho, Oregon, and Washington then served by airlines. These do not include custom GMAX terminals but use instead a default or addon library object for the terminal, since I did not have photos. Many thanks to Jason, who provided most of the photos and information used in this project, as well as the Jantzen Beach amusement park on an island in the river and most of KPDX except the terminal. Tom created the rest.

| Sydney Nova Scotia 1955-1957 |
|
File Description:
In the period after 1945 Sydney was an important alternate airport for commercial aircraft flying the North Atlantic route between Europe and the U.S.A and Canada. Like Moncton and Goose Bay, it was in a sense a satellite of the much better known Gander, which was however sometimes rendered unusable by adverse weather conditions and especially fog. Sydney had two runways equiped with ILS wnen Gander only had one, and approach lights on all runways, unlike Gander. This scenery is primarily intended for use in the California Classic retro environment created by Tom Gibson and the CalClassic Community, and awaits your Stratocruisers, Douglases and Constellations.
