This freeware gauge adds new VTOL & Hover features to Alphasim's FSX MV22-Osprey. Besides true vertical takeoff&landing, it allows you to fly forward, backward, sideways and turn, while in a hover. This solution is based on overriding the normal FS flightdynamics while in a hover; in short, it's a VTOL&Hover FDE coded in a gauge. Special thanks to: 1. Doug Dawson, who created a gauge that provides for overriding FSX variables from an XML gauge. 2. Nick Needham, for his rotorwash effects. Requires FSUIPC4 (registered or unregistered, NOT included). FSX: Enhanced Major Metro Autogen (requires FSX Enhanced Autogen World )

File Description:
This is the second and final part of our enhanced autogen release. This package repairs and upgrades 48 major city autogen building textures world-wide and RESTORES the light maps Aces missed in which large numbers of buildings (Paris, Berlin, London, etc) have been dark since the release of FSX. It includes North America, South America, Asia, Eurasia, Middle East, Europe, Africa and Australia. You MUST install PART ONE (fsx_enhanced_autogen.zip) before using this package. There are links included with the instructiions of this package to PART 1 should you need them along with instructions for FTX users. The included textures will add all the default missing light maps, blend perfectly with GEX Enhanced USA/Canada and are a great match for our upcoming GEX Europe release. Please note these are only textures for major metro auto-generated buildings and are not the city skyscrapers and landmarks. There is absolutely no performance loss -or- performance gain when using these textures which are ONLY for FSX and can not be used in FS9. Happy Holidays from Team GEX to the entire sim community!

HUD Parameters for FSX

File Description: HUD_Parameters.lua is a Lua script that displays flight parameters in a small text window that pops up when the script is selected by an assigned key or button if the aircraft is in the air. Parameters displayed are: • Indicated Airspeed (IAS. Kts) • True Airspeed (TAS, Kts) • Ground Speed (GS, Kts) • Mach# (when above a user settable altitude, currently 25000ft) • Altitude (ALT, ft) • Radio Altitude (RA, ft) • Vertical Speed (VS, ft/min) • Vertical Speed per Nautical Mile (VS/NM, ft/NM) • Attitude Indicator pitch (AI, degrees) • Flight Path Angle (FPA, degrees) The top of the script contains user settable values for the size and location of the display, the altitude above which the a/c Mach# will be displayed (default is 25000ft), the data update interval in milliseconds (default is 2000), and whether or not data is to be logged in HUD_Parameters.log (default is 0, off). These values can be set using a text editor like NotePad. A registered copy of FSUIPC is required to execute the Lua script. Simply copy the script to the Modules folder of FSX and use FSUIPC4 to assign a key, button or switch to toggle the script on and off. The script turns off if the aircraft is on the ground. Advanced helicopter mission for FSX acceleration. Airlift a crashed truck from the water onto a flatbed trailer using the sling attached to the EH-101 helicopter. This mission is very difficult and may require several attempts.
