FSX Logbook Recovery

File Description:
This utility can be used to try to fix an FSX logbook that doesn't get appended with new entries anymore. If it succeeds in removing a corrupt entry you can write back the logbook, but only after a backup of the original has been made. Updated version that handles entries with multiple landings better. (Previous version had 931 downloads).

FSX Registry Utility

File Description:
The FSX Registry Utility has been designed to help sort out FSX registry problems and avoid the need to re-install FSX, such as when manually copying a FSX installation to another drive or when the registry entry goes missing for any reason. Many FSX applications and their installers depend on knowing the path to the fsx.exe file as reported in the Windows Registry. But what if the registry entry has been corrupted or deleted when reinstalling Windows? Manually copying the FSX folder to another folder or drive will also invalidate the registry entry. This may in some cases prevent an FSX add-on from working correctly (i.e. it cannot find FSX on your system). The FSX Reg Utility was prepared especially for users with custom setups or who manually copied the FSX installation to another folder or drive and reformatted their drives, but want to retain their FSX installation with all its add-ons. Using this utility may avoid the need to reinstall FSX and allows you to restore the path in the registry quickly and easily in the case that you are not confident editing the Registry yourself.

FSX-DTTJ-Djerba

Well it starts like always, I can't find a usable freeware airport in this case for the DTTJ Djerba-Zarzis so I'll build it myself again......... well what can I say here it is built as real as possible with many details with the standard scenery after a lot of work .......... So fly to Tunisia to the island of Djerba, of course with an Airbus A321 or a Boeing 737. There you change to a helicopter or a smaller plane and look around the area...Tip: Zarzis is near the port a helipad...... Installation: copy the folder DTTJ Djerba Scenery into the addon folder of the FSX, start the FSX go to settings, scenery library, add area, press OK, then you can already start............. Extras: to be able to see people, I deliver the file 3DPeoble_Lib, copy it into the Addon Scenery folder and activate it in FSX as described during the installation and you can already see people...... the same applies to all files that are supplied to see more details in the FSX folder Addon Scenery copy individually and activate in FSX you should have already activated one of these files! FSX Model Compiler

File Description:
This is a little GUI a wrote for compiling .X files into MDL files.

For those of the community who have made use of Prepar3D's v2.2 SDK, there are compatibility issues with the MDL's created for Prepar3D and FSX. The Prepar3D v1.4 SDK XtoMDL compiler correctly writes the MDL files which work in FSX.

To use this program, you need to point the GUI to the location of the v1.4 SDK XtoMDL.EXE file and your .X file for your model. You can select the switches which you would normally enter on the command line, from the GUI and it will compile the .MDL with them.

FSX-VTSP-Phuket

So fly to Phuket. Currently there are flights from Bangkok with Bangkok Airways, but there are also some direct flights from Qatar via Munich and Doha with the Dreamliner Installation: Copy the folder VTSP -Phuket into the addon folder of the FSX, start the FSX, go to settings, change the scenery library, add the area, press OK, then you can start .... Extras: in order to be able to see people I deliver the file 3DPeoble_Lib with this you can also copy into the addon folder and activate it in FSX as described during the installation and you will see people ..............

ENBSeries for FSX

File Description:
CORRECTED VERSION - Accidently included the wrong d3d9.dll in the previous upload, which messes up your textures. This one is the right one. My main goal in adjusting this ENBSeries file was to make sunny days look sunny and dark nights look dark, while maintaining a natural look to all things as much as possible (so no exaggerated bloom effects which you don't see at all in real life) I only changed the BLOOM and the COLOR CORRECTION options, nothing else. I have all the other options turned off anyway, since I don't have a very powerful computer. If you want to change options yourself you can read the 'readme_en.txt' for further information.

I included some screenshots to compare the default lightning to my custom made ENBSeries version (press the ZipDive! button to see them without downloading the whole package)

Install:
- Just copy the d3d9.dll and enbseries.ini to the FSX root folder.
- When in FSX you can press [SHIFT] + [F12] to turn the effect on or off. To remove, simply delete the 2 files from your FSX root folder.
