Transcontinental Airmail Route 1918

File Description:
Airmail service will be inaugurated on May 15, 1918. And the Army and Post Office Department have been jointly charged to provide that service. This route follows, as closely as possible, the airmail route flown by those first pioneers. There are 15 airports in this flight plan.
