This is a fictional repaint for the Majestic Software Q400 Dash 8 in Blue Islands livery. Blue Islands fly to the Channel Islands of Guernsey and Jersey using Jetstream and ATR turboprops. This repaint of G-ISLF was made for BBN Virtual Airways (bbn-airways.co.uk) who operate the Q400 and Jetstream J41 into the Channel Islands as well as several other airlines and routes.

This airport scenery does not require any other software other than Microsoft Flight Sim X SP1 (minimum) - SP2 required for mission and display of some of the scenery items. However, it could help with performance on your PC if you install any accurate photo scenery for DFW. One such scenery is MEGASCENERY DFW photo scenery from http://www.megascenery.com/.
This is a custom developed scenery for airport, 52F - Northwest Regional, Roanoke, TX. 52F is next to Fort Worth Alliance in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex. It's a nice little airport.
This scenery package also includes a Mission called "52Foxtrot - Approach to Rwy 35 - Thermals". It is more of a free flight than the traditional FSX missions. The ones who fly for real at 52F-Northwest regional knows the quirks when coming into land at runway 35 on a hot day. The thermals at the cleared land and the sinking feeling when flying over the wooded area nearing the approach to 35. These thermal lifts and sinks have been modeled here. However, the only way to experience these thermals in FSX is via Missions. Once you select the mission "52Foxtrot - Approach to Rwy 35 - Thermals" and by selecting option "Enable changes in selected Mission", you could fly around like you would under "free flight". Except this time, you would have these thermal effects around 52F and get to experience what it's really like to fly and land at 52F.

File Description:
This FSX scenery package contains the LFLJ Courchevel airport in the French Alps. The airport has a very short, upslope runway of only 525 m (1,722 ft). The airport is considered one of the seven most dangerous in the world. It has a difficult approach, a 300 foot upslope runway and is adjacent to the Courchevel ski runs. The Courchevel airport altitude is the highest in Europe, with a mean elevation of 6,520 feet. This airport is intended to be used with FSX and the free addon - TileProxy. TileProxy provides real-time photorealistic satellite imagery in place of the stock auto generated FSX scenery or any other scenery package. The Courchevel airport was originally released as part of an FSX airport scenery package containing 15 airports, located in the French Alps. The link to the original 15 French Alps Airport package is shown below. This file is not required, but allows you to download 15 related French Alps airports. The LFLJ, Courchevel airport in the original 15 airport package was missing a required scenery file which corrects the airport altitude (from 6420 ft. to 6520 ft.) due to the mis-location of the stock FSX airport. This download provides all three of the required .bgl scenery files.

Deer Valley Resort at Roosevelt Lake Scenery. -
This is a fictious Resort at Roosevelt Lake by Grapevine AZ USA.
Its basically a fly-in resort for the Deer Valley Flying Club members to relax, do some fishing, go to the Amusement Park and have a general great time. But the resort is now open to the public. If you dont want to spend the big bucks, there is a small campground located nearby.
I suggest a float plane or helocopter for the trip out and back. If you're a competent bush pilot, you might be able to land on the grass runway, but its a very difficult strip. Fly a STOL plane or you wil not make it.

This route goes through both flat and rolling and mountainous terrain in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and New York. These are great routes for B-52, F-111, B-1B, B-2 A6, A4, Vulcan and any fighter or bomber enthusiasts. Of course you can fly the route with any aircraft of your choice. Included in this package are two spectacular gauges by Karol Chlebowski for TFR flying and Pave Tack which includes many advanced features for bombing, navigation and reconnaissance. These two gauges will greatly enhance your ability to fly these challenging routes and are a great companion of the flight plans. Using information gathered and sent to me by a wonderful individual off the LDS forums, I have compiled the flightplan to reenact the famous Leisure Intl trip from EGKK London Gatwick to KMCO Orlando Intl. This file is ready to fly, just need to input the other data such as your ZFW, etc. All waypoints and routes included INCLUDING the departure and arrival speed/altitude constraints as published in the official charts!!!! This is for the FMC of the Level D Simulation aircraft. I also recommend using the OSS Gatwick 2004 scenery and the Simflyers KMCO scenery, along with FSGenesis terrain meshes to give the best effect for this wonderful flight. Of course who would want to fly this without the awesome Leisure International repaint here in the AVSIM library? No readme included. The procedure is simple -- download it, unzip it and place it in your /Level-D Simulations\navdata\Flightplans folder. Enjoy!!!!!
