SkyHigh Audio Simulations is proud to present our brand new radial engine Douglas DC-3 Pratt and Whitney R-1830 sound pack for FSX! This sound could also be used for other twin engine P&W R-1830 powered aircraft such as the PBY Catalina/Canso.
FSX's sound cone technology has been extensively used to provide as much of a realistic sound experience as possible in the exterior view. Features include propwash sound effects from immediately behind the propeller, realistic radial engine start-up sounds, and a very realistic sounding fly-by! SkyHigh Audio Simulations' usual touches have been added such as using audio recordings only from Dogulas DC-3 and other P&W R1830 radial engine powered aircraft as source files to provide a fully authentic sound experience for the simmer. | High-resolution 76-m (LOD9) Terrain Mesh and Scenery Enhancements for the Southern Canadian Rockies |

File Description:
Not simply an add-on mesh, these files include many scenery enhancements for the southern Rockies of British Columbia and Alberta. Coverage extends from Cranbrook to Calgary, and Hinton to Edmonton (N48.9-53.4 W112.3-116.3). The mesh source data are 3-arcsec (~90-m) Shuttle Radar (SRTM) files, compiled at LOD9 (76-m) resolution. All lake elevations (!) have been adjusted to eliminate the problems with the default lake data and to better fit the new terrain mesh. In addition, the Transcanada Highway/Icefields Parkway corridor in Banff National Park, from Canmore to the Hwy 11 junction, has been completely re-made, with dozens of alpine lakes (including Lake Louise, Moraine Lake, and Lake O'Hara), accurate transportation network, and landclass/waterclass updates based on satellite imagery. Due to significant changes in FS2004 to vector layering and autogen features, the special scenery enhancements cannot be used with FS2002. However, terrain mesh, lake corrections and landclass replacements will work well in FS2002.

When measured by passengers carried, it is second-largest in United Kingdom (behind easyJet). The airline is based in Waterside near its main hub at London Heathrow Airport. British Airways is a founding member of the Oneworld airline alliance, along with American Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Qantas, and the now defunct Canadian Airlines.
British Airways liveries painted on Tenkuu Developers Studio (TDS) Boeing 787-8 and -9 Rolls Royce Trent 1000 model. The textures are saved in 32bit format for quality graphics. Textures are also characterized by HD (High Definition). Its features are idle-reverser animation, animated pack vents and pressurisation outflow valve, detailed textures, accurate paint, dynamic shine & effects, dynamic flexing wings that respond to turbulence, fully independent suspension, trim animation, gear steering, accurate flight dynamics, spoiler animation, reflective cockpit windows, improved wingflex code with input from several new parameters including ground spoilers, fuel load, and angle of attack, transparent navigation light lenses and many more. REPAINT TEXTURES ARE ALSO COMPATIBLE WITH THE FSX MODEL (needed).

| Flight Simulator Scenery Tutorial - How to decompile, edit, and recompile default scenery object BGL files |

File Description:
This is a simple tutorial in a dual format, one HTML for web-based reading and the other for reading within Microsoft Word. The tutorial contains a thorough, step-by-step process on editing default scenery object BGL files within Flight Simulator. It covers everything from the task of decompiling the stock BGL file using BGLXML or NewBGLAnalyze, editing it using SceneGenX scenery Generator and Notepad, and recompiling the source code XML into a BGL file again by using the BGLCOMP SDK. This tutorial was the result of a request by a fellow scenery creator, in combination to my quest for further increasing the realism of one of Flight Simulator's stock airports (Sanderson Field, Shelton, WA). There's specific instructions, and a final word on the touchy topic of editing stock BGL files contained within the tutorial as well.

| KLM 1998 AI Package |

File Description:
By 1998, the KLM/Northwest alliance was in full swing, and KLM was serving MSP, DTW, and even MEM daily with it's own metal while Northwest took over from KLM from BOS, IAD, and some other cities. KLM had a vast route network spanning the globe, serving much of Africa and the Middle East with many "tag on" routes onward from Amsterdam. By 1998, KLM was flying the MD-11, 747-200SUD(stretched upper deck), 747-200SUD Combi, 747-300 Combi, 747-400, 747-400 Combi, 767-300ER, 737-300, 737-400, and 6 mainline Fokker 100s which were short lived before going to KLM UK in late 1998 then on to CityHopper. Unfortunately, in the OAG, KLM only specified if a 747 was a combi or not(as in 747=744/742 while 74M can be a combi version of the 742,743, or 744) and did not differentiate between 737-300s and 737-400s. I did my best using what data I had to make the routes realistic, but the aircraft numbers at least are correct except for some extra 767s and 737s that you may remove if you wish. I also had issues making sure the TPE flights were all operated by "KLM Asia" 747s, so I ended up assigning 1 extra 747(I have 5, in real life there were 4) the Asia livery to ensure that you do not see a standard KLM 747 at TPE as they did not visit in real life. You may switch this to a normal 747 if you choose. Repaints by Raphael Rodrigues for the AIA Fokker 100 and FAIB 737-300, 737-400, 767-300, 747-200SUD, 747-300, and 747-400 along with flightplans by Chasen Richardson are included. Note that the 747-200SUD uses the 747-300 model. As a Bonus, the KLM Cargo 747-200SUD is also included.Part of the 1998 Flight Simulator Project. | China Airlines 1998 AI Package |

File Description:
China Airlines had almost completely repainted the fleet by 1998, in these flightplans there is only 1 A300s left in the old livery. China Airlines rushed the repaint of their fleet as the Taiwanese flag on the old colors was not allowed in HKG after the 1997 hand over from England making Hong Kong a Chinese Territory. As such, the old colors were gone by 1998. The 737-400s were still very much active, but were very near the end of their lives with China Airlines retired by 1999 or so. The 737-400s do some regional international routes, and also high frequency KHH-TSA flights and a few TPE-KHH flights. Only 2 747-200s left, mostly flying to HND, and the A300-600R is the backbone of the fleet with a handful of A300B4s still flying. The 747SPs all were at Mandarin by 1998. At this time, and Mandarin aircraft often subbed for China Airlines 747-400s and MD-11s using the "DYNASTY" callsign. I have included an MD-11 in Mandarin colors operating China Airlines flights, I recommend you make a separate aircraft.cfg entry for the Mandarin MD-11 aircraft with the "DYNASTY" callsign and "CAL" parking code for realism. Repaints by Ranmori Scythe for the FAIB 737-400, 747-200, 747-400, FSPX MD-11, and TFS A300B4 and A300-600R are included. As a bonus, textures are also included for the FAIB 737-800(which entered the fleet in 1999) and the old colors on the FAIB 747-400(discontinued by 1997). Feel free to use the 737-400 instead of the 737-800 if you wish. All repaints were done by the very talented Ranmori Scythe and flightplans were done by the not-so-talented Chasen Richardson.
