File Description:
FS2004 Pattern Gauge. This gauge calculates the heading for all five pattern legs around an airport for both left and right turns. After the pilot enters the two-digit runway data, heading information will be displayed for any desired leg by pressing an appropriate button. This gauge was the example used to illustrated a tutorial which shows how to make graphics for gauges. Part 1 of that file TutGG_P1.zip is available as a separate D/L. By Glenn Copeland.

| McDonnell Douglas MD-11 GE flex data charts |

File Description:
Flex data (assumed temperature) charts for use with PMDG MD-11 GE version (FS2004 and FSX). These charts allow you to accurately determine assumed temperatures according to TOGW (all weights), runway length (7000-12000 feet), take-off flap setting (10-28) and density altitude (SL-12000 feet). Also contains conversion tables to correct for actual airport altitude, pressure, wind and use of anti-ice. Detailed description and tutorial included within file. MS Excel or Excel-viewer required. No further installation necessary.

All gauges on the same screen, to use with default fs2002 B737, so that virtual cockpit works. When used with a FS 2000 aircraft, no view available. Request Concorde Gauges available at AVSIM.COM or to be pasted from your past century old fs2000. Tested with fs2002 pro, 1024 res., should be framerate friendly. New throttle, flaps, spoilers and trim handles.Included tutorial for radio-nav management on this panel (FAQ).

| MegaPatchPlus Version 1. High Resolution Terrain Texture Builder |

File Description:
MegaPatchPlus is using 24Bit color targa picture parts to build
a rectangle of a half megatile (70MB).
Apply steps from tutorial inside zip to create the megatile
using this tool and graphic tools mainly IrfanView and Photoed
The earlier version MegaPatch was building the picture from 256 colors tga.
After building you have to resize the full picture and it is better for quality
to do this using a full color image. This was the reason to make MegaPatchPlus.
The new version 1.2 supports scales 1:10000, 1:25000 and 1:5000.

File Description:
Using freeware -S.O.D.E (see readme), these files place the above named objects (most animated) at Shoreham, Compton Abbas(bigly) and Innsbruck. They appear depending on time, season and weather. eg -grass cutting only on certain fine days in the Summer,Smoke from fires when wind is low and weather clear.
PS - Snowplows not placed on Runways or Taxiways for safety reasons!
A mini tutorial is included so the user can place them (and many other SimObjects in FSX)at the Airports of their choosing.
Snowplows are much upgraded from previous files.

Here is a tutorial for beginners who want to connect to VATSIM, but dont know how to. This is my updated HTML version taken from my MS Word file (on avsim: cnctvatsim.zip). Special notice inside for all VAs etc who wish to re-distribute it for pilots. Images included for easy-to-understand steps. Now included are links to the software, and a few minor mistakes have been corrected. You have to extract the HTML file and folder to a temporary location for it to work (for Images to appear). Good luck!
