High-resolution 76-m (LOD9) Terrain Mesh and Scenery Enhancements for the Southern Canadian Rockies

File Description:
Not simply an add-on mesh, these files include many scenery enhancements for the southern Rockies of British Columbia and Alberta. Coverage extends from Cranbrook to Calgary, and Hinton to Edmonton (N48.9-53.4 W112.3-116.3). The mesh source data are 3-arcsec (~90-m) Shuttle Radar (SRTM) files, compiled at LOD9 (76-m) resolution. All lake elevations (!) have been adjusted to eliminate the problems with the default lake data and to better fit the new terrain mesh. In addition, the Transcanada Highway/Icefields Parkway corridor in Banff National Park, from Canmore to the Hwy 11 junction, has been completely re-made, with dozens of alpine lakes (including Lake Louise, Moraine Lake, and Lake O'Hara), accurate transportation network, and landclass/waterclass updates based on satellite imagery. Due to significant changes in FS2004 to vector layering and autogen features, the special scenery enhancements cannot be used with FS2002. However, terrain mesh, lake corrections and landclass replacements will work well in FS2002.

The Airbus A330-200 it´s a wide body aircraft, an aircraft of last generation that can transport about 280 passengers, depending the configuration the customers set. File Description:
FSX Scenery - Dawson City Airport (IATA: YDA, ICAO: CYDA) is located 8 nautical miles (15 km; 9.2 mi) east of Dawson City, Yukon, Canada, in the Klondike River valley, and is operated by the Yukon government. It has a terminal building and like most airports in its class, the runway is not paved. The gravel runway is 5,006 ft (1,526 m) long and at an elevation of 1,215 ft (370 m). A number of studies have recommended moving the airport or realigning the runway as it is in a narrow mountain valley. The airport is classified as an airport of entry by Nav Canada and is staffed by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA). CBSA officers at this airport can normally handle aircraft with up to 15 passengers, but are equipped to handle daily Boeing 737 charters between Dawson City and Fairbanks (Fairbanks International Airport) during the peak summer tourism season. It could be used to educate the public about the US Army's rich history and vital role in America's defence! And what if that mobile platform was a 767 provided from Boeing, staffed by the US Army, but operated by a well-known airline like American Airlines? Well, here it is.. The US Army Recruiting Command Mobil Learning Center! Textures are 32 bit and packaged in a .lds file for easy installation. The Payware Level-D 767 is required.
