Germany Airforce, ECR Panavia Tornado Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
The Panavia Tornado is a family of twin-engine combat aircraft, which was jointly developed by the West Germany, United Kingdom and Italy. There are three primary versions of the Tornado; the Tornado IDS (Interdictor/Strike) fighter-bomber, the suppression of enemy air defences Tornado ECR (Electronic Combat/Reconnaissance) and the Tornado F.3 (only United Kingdom) a air fefence variant. It is one of the world's most sophisticated and capable interdiction and attack aircraft, with a long range, large payload and high survivability. Developed and built by Panavia, a tri-national consortium consisting of MBB of West Germany, British Aerospace, and Alenia Aeronautica of Italy. The Tornado first flew on August 14, 1974, and saw action with the RAF and AMI (Italian Air Force) in the Gulf War (Operation Desert Storm). International co-operation continued after its entry into service within the Tri-National Tornado Training Establishment, a tri-nation training and evaluation unit operating from RAF Cottesmore, England. Including all variants, 992 aircraft were built for the three partner nations and Saudi Arabia (first export customer). Panel, GAUGES, model, sound and textures by www.afs-design.de

PAKT Ketchikan International, Alaska, USA Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Googlyafcad A&F Data file for Ketchikan International based on Google Earth satellite data - a small but relatively busy airport located in one of the wettest parts of Alaska, USA. Ketchikan is Alaska's fifth largest city, with its economy based on salmon fishing.

For some curious reason the facilities provided in Flight Simulator 2004 omit a crucial taxiway at the west end of the airport, causing all traffic to taxi from the opposite end. These files redress this issue, and also provide realistic levels of parking for commercial and general aviation traffic, allowing you and your "AI" traffic to land, taxi, park and take off in a realistic manner. The layout has been cunningly designed to fit both with the Flight Simulator default scenery and version 2 of Alan Wright's enhanced scenery (paktv2.zip on AVSIM) and is compatible with both in every respect.

Apart from conventional and water-based general aviation aircraft Ketchikan International is regularly served by commercial flights of Alaska Airlines and by smaller operators such as Alaska Central Express, Everts Air Alaska and LAB Flying Service. [File re-uploaded at request of AVSIM]

File Description:
Indonesian Air Force A-4E/TA-4J Skyhawk (Delivery Scheme); for retro AI traffic. This package represents the Skyhawks operated by Indonesia, which served through the 1980s-1990s, until replaced by F-16s and Su-27s. This package uses the Nick Black base model set, but these models have been heavily modified by me from the FSDS source; and this package. I have added a lot of new things to create two virtually new base models, please refer to the enclosed readme file for a list of adds and changes. All models retain Nick's original XML animations, plus some new ones I created. The aircraft also uses the unaltered (save for one light position change), original FDE by Mike MacIntyre. This package has two main aircraft models, the A-4E (Israeli mod) and TA-4J; and includes 35 serials with many loadout options. The included readme file includes instructions, notes, disclaimers, credits, and anything else I can think of. Original aircraft and source by Nick Black, FDE by Mike MacIntyre, expert mentoring by Frank Safranek and Steve Holland, model modifications and repaints by Michael Pearson.
