Air Viking Vanguard 952 TF-AVA Download

File Description:
The ex Air Canada Vanguards acquired by Air Holdings were flown by many airlines in the early days. Many of them were only for a short time as startup airlines took them on with high hopes only to fail or change direction. Air Viking was one of two Icelandic airlines leasing Vanguards in 1970-71. Operating this single Vanguard from a base in Keflavik it flew to many destinations even flying as far as the Canary Islands. Delivered in June 1970 it was repossessed by Air Holding when the airline failed in December of that year. This particular machine came of note when, as CF-TKD it flew the first TCA Westbound flight on 01 February 1961 and again when flying for Invicta as G-AXOY it made the last ever UK passenger Vanguard flight flying a Luton-Luton charter on 26 October 1975. Sold to EAS as F-BXOH it did not enter service but was stored as a spares source at Perpignan. Requires the FSDS Vanguard model by Rick Piper.

WIKK/WIKP/WIDK Depati Amir, Pangkal Pinang, Indonesia Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Googlyafcad A&F Data file for Depati Amir, based on Google Earth satellite data. It is a domestic airport located on the east coast of the island on Bangka serving the serving the largest town on the island, Pangkal Pinang, which is also the capital of the province Bangka-Belitung.

The facilities in Flight Simulator 2004 only allow for general aviation traffic, but the airport is regularly served by Boeing jets of Adam Air, Batavia Air and Sriwijaya Air as well as smaller prop-driven craft of airlines like Merpati Nusentara. These files will allow you and your "AI" traffic to land, taxi, park and take off in a realistic manner.
Like many airports in Indonesia, the ICAO code has changed in recent years. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 uses the old code (WIKK) but this changed first to WIPK (in error) and now WIDK. These files allow you to continue using the old code or change to the new one. [File re-uploaded at request of AVSIM]

Oberpfaffenhofen v2.2 - traffic package Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This AI-Package has been prepared for the Oberpaffenhofen Airport (EDMO) located in South-Germany 20 NM west of Munich and contains the following beautiful aircraft: Dornier Do-27, Do-28, Do-228, Fairchild/Dornier, FD-328 Turboprop and Jet version, FD-728 (did not go onto production line) and the amphibian Dornier Seastar, Boeing-707 (AWACS/E3A), Breguet-Atlantic, Dassault/Dornier Alpha-Jet, Lockheed-P3 Orion, British-Aerospace Canberra B.20, Hawker Sea-Fury, North-American F-86A, and Bell UH-1D. The corresponding scenery "oberpfaffenhofen-v2.2_fs2004.zip" is available here at the library.

Most of the planes perform testflights after a long term maintenance in the local traffic pattern and some of the bigger ones leave IFR (in accordance with "Instrument Flight Rules") to other airfields per attached flightplan. All the attached outstanding airplanes have been created by well known designers(see briefing). My part was just to put them together and to generate an almost reasonable AI-Flightplan. Gentlemen, let's take a rest, watching the airplanes and listening to ATC.

Re-upload.

Kuwaiti Air Force A-4KU Skyhawk (1991) Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Kuwaiti Air Force A-4KU Skyhawk (1991); for retro AI traffic. This package represents the surviving Skyhawks that escaped the Iraqi invasion in 1990, serving through the Gulf War and beyond, until replaced by the F/A-18. This package uses the Nick Black base model set, but these models have been heavily modified by me from the FSDS source. I have added a lot of new things to create two virtually new base models, please refer to the enclosed readme file for a list of adds and changes. All models retain Nick's original XML animations, plus some new ones I created. The aircraft also uses the unaltered (save for one light position change), original FDE by Mike MacIntyre. This package has two main aircraft models, the A-4KU and TA-4KU; and includes 20 serials with many loadout options. The included readme file includes instructions, notes, disclaimers, credits, and anything else I can think of. Original aircraft and source by Nick Black, FDE by Mike MacIntyre, expert mentoring by Frank Safranek and Steve Holland, model modifications and repaints by Michael Pearson.

Condor and LTU also offered charter flights from Germany and First Choice Airways from the United Kingdom. It also offers charter flights to Maputo, Mozambique. This work is dedicate to Tiziano Fiori who lives in Trelew.

North American P-51D 20th FG (LC-N) 'June Nite' Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the A2A WoP3 P-51D Mustang (with AccuSim), in the colors of P-51K 44-11161 LC-N "June Nite" as flown by Ernest "Feeb" Fiebelkorn of the 20th FG. He was one of the biggest aces of the 8th Air Force, meaning tallest and heaviest. 6ft 4in combined with 225 pounds must have made a placement into the Mustang's cockpit a bit problematic. This did not prevent Feeb from becoming the top-scoring pilot of the 20th Fighter Group. Moreover, it was not Fiebelkorn's only claim to fame. On November 8th 1944 he and Edward Haydon from 357th FG managed to shoot down German Me 262 piloted by then top-scoring ace of the World - Walter Nowotny. The famous Austrian pilot was not lucky enough to survive that onslaught. Feeb finished the war unscathed only to die in F-82 over Korea. His total score includes 8 individual aerial victories, 2 shared aerial victories and 2 individual ground victories. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the A2A paintkit.
