FSX Scenery - Aurora Municipal Airport serves Chicago/Aurora and Kane County and is owned by the City Of Aurora. The airport has more than one runway. The longest is a paved runway extending 6500 feet. The facility is at an elevation of 706 feet at a distance of about 38 miles from Chicago. Greater Kankakee Airport serves Kankakee and Kankakee County and is owned by Kankakee Valley Arpt Auth. The airport has more than one runway. The longest is a paved runway extending 5979 feet. I made this because I downloaded and tried the Glacier Park scenery by Blue Sky Scenery and then discovered that the airfield runways are not always correctly positioned or aligned. So I moved the Weaver runway over and added a couple of buildings. That's it, almost the same as I did for Whitefish. If I find some more airfields in this area with similar problems then I'll do more of the same. Weaver is a private field 4 miles south of Glacier Park International at 2,929 feet ASL and around 45 miles south of the Canadian border. There are no large towns close by; the nearest would be Missoula, which is some 90 miles further south.

File Description:
This is a public helipad that services the town of Haverstraw, New York. It provides both air freight and charter services for the area. Scenery has been designed based on Google Maps aerial photos, the author has not been to this heliport in person. Trees ringing the heliport are basic Oak models, they are not seasonal objects. This heliport gives you a great excuse to travel far north along the beautiful Hudson River valley from NYC.
Comms are not activated for this heliport, because really what use would you have for them anyways?
This scenery is meant to be used in conjunction with MegaScenery Earth New York 004. It is not required.

High Resolution Northeast New Jersey 5 Meter Mesh Terrain by Wally-Bob represents a significant improvement over FSX default 38 meter mesh terrain. The results are also dramatic compared to 10 meter compressed payware mesh as lossless compression compilation (read no data loss) is used. Lossless compiling produces renderings that have the Crispness of the Real World Terrain. Fly the Hudson River and view the Palisades as they are in real life, see the screen shots enclosed. High Quality 5 meter mesh terrain is a must have for mountainous areas especially where photo scenery is also used to render the virtual world. This very old farm was reworked in order to became an ULM airfield, very crowded during weekends; it's also a rural tourism farm with a small but very nice restaurant (I suggest you visit Pelicano site and see the pictures). This scenery is ONLY compatible with Portugal Terrain from PTSIM (http://www.ptsim.com) and is based on digital pictures taken at the place, accurate real measures by Aerodromos de Portugal (http://www.pelicano.com.pt/zmapa.html). Although certified for ULM, this airfield have no ICAO so I gave it the fake LPQA.
This scenery is still under construction, so a second version will be published with several improvements and reworked objects. Freeware. For Microsoft FS2004. NOT tested for FSX

With this package you can fly the MacRobertson Air Race, also known as the London-Melbourne Race, held in October 1934 exactly the same way the winner of the handicap section, KLM's DC-2 PH-AJU "Uiver", did.
This package contains everything you need: Flightplans, weather conditions, flight situation files (*.FLT) for every leg, detailed 1934 scenery and maps of all of the aerodromes where a stopover was made, 1934 enroute scenery, per leg flight descriptions also containing information and facts about the London-Melbourne race itself and the other competitors and much more.
In both Dutch and English.

| Long Beach KLGB Version 4.0 (New Terminal Construction) |

This is a transitional version of Long Beach Daugherty Field. A brand new terminal is currently under construction and due to open in 2013. This version of the scenery shows the terminal as built but not yet operational which reflects current operations as of November 2012. All parking stands have been moved from their original staggered locations to positions surrounding the new terminal complex. Airlines serving the airport have been updated, and other heavy modifications have also taken place. In addition, Signal Hill has been converted from the giant rock scenery object to a correct elevation change file. The hill now has autogen and proper positioning and elevation. A future update with the fully operational terminal will be forthcoming.

Land class for Southern Africa, consist of Land class tiles for most parts of Southern African countries south of the Equator. The Land class for Southern Africa was created by using Satellite imagery and knowledge of the area and then applying the nearest suitable LC tile to that area.
To get the best results from this update it will be advisable to download the latest Detailed Terrain Features for Southern Africa of Aeroworx (also available in the AVSIM Library - starting with file fsxWorx01.zip).
This scenery is important and will be needed with release of future scenery by Aeroworx.
