Avalon Airport

File Description:
Avalon airport is an airport in Victoria Australia it is only about a 15 minute flight from Melbourne International airport it is one of the hubs for Low cost airline Jetstar. In FSX its scenery is very sparse considering it is the location of the Australian international Air show. I have created this scenery with Abacus Scenery editor and it adds an environment which represents an Air Show it also adds a terminal (not exact to the real one) and a few other enhancements to the Airport environment. Note, uses default AFCAD

Penang International Airport WMKP Version 2.00

File Description:
GMAX Penang International Airport . ICAO: WMKP .AFCAD included . Penang, "the Pearl of the Orient" has been on the tourist route-map for decades, and is now fast-growing as an industrial centre. With the combined attractions of tourism and business, Penang airport has been upgraded to cater to the increasing traffic demand. In 2003, the airport handled 2.3 million passengers, with 26,516 aircraft movements. It also handled 197,567 metric tones of cargo in 2003. A new cargo centre was opened for operations in 2000 with a capacity to handle 360,000 tonnes of cargo.

KOAK - Oakland/Metro with all runways activated

File Description:
This is a major update of Oakland Metro airport near San Francisco. All runways have been activated and can now be used simultaneously. Runways 27LR/09LR have been modified with improved and added taxiways for better traffic flow. All gates are present and are correctly aligned. Runway 11/29 will still get the bulk of the Airline traffic (unless deactivated) due to its proximity to the terminal but many airliners and most GA aircraft will use runways 27LR/09LR. Nice Cote D'Azur Revised

File Description:
When I created the angled approaches for Nice airport (uploaded recently to Avsim) I didn't check that the version of the Nicaya scenery I was using was the latest. Since I last downloaded the scenery the designer (Guy Lemoz) has changed the scenery design method. Thus the AFCAD that I uploaded with the approaches might not have looked too great with the V5.0D scenery, and this version, loosely based on Guy's original, has been developed to rectify that problem. It even includes the yellow markings to indicate the closed runway 05.

Official Australian location codes

File Description:
The tables presented here are the complete Australian ICAO allocations for airports, airstrips and helicopter landing sites, including locations not shown in FS2004. It is important for scenery designers, AFCAD makers and those compiling AI traffic to use correct codes where they exist rather than fictitious ones so that no unintentional conflicts occur. This data has been provided in Excel and csv formats for your convenience. The latitude/longitude information supplied here is in the correct format to be copied directly into FS2004/map menu and Traffic Tools airport.txt file.

Mehrabad GEO Sector File

File Description:
I think about a situation that a controller want to control the ground for Tehran Mehrabad Intl airportm, after i search the hole web the result is nothing! i suggest to do that myself , building a Geo for Mehrabad with GroundMaker, Afcad & fs2004 . The result is fine and you can put it in your sector file there are a little difference in runway geo and the actual runway. RCKH Kaohsiung International Airport Taiwan

File Description:
Airport layout file (AFCAD) for the default RKCH Kaohsiung International Airport in Taipei, Taiwan. This file adds missing gates and parking positions, corrects taxiway layouts and designators, and assigns airlines to certain gates to create more realistic conditions. Information based on the RCKH airport website and Navigraph data. The apron has been enlarged to place all default buildings on asphalt surfaces. Due to the limitations of MS Flight Simulator airport layout, certain international flights will still dock at the domestic terminal and vice versa. Tested with World of AI only.

RCNN Tainan Aero, Taiwan

File Description:
Airport layout file (AFCAD) for the default RCNN Tainan Airport. The advent of a Shinkansen Highspeed Rail link between all of Taiwan's major cities has greatly reduced the importance of local airports, and Tainan has recently lost many of its scheduled services. This layout file places 5 gates for diagonal parking and three cargo gates at your disposal. Without this file you will not see any AI traffic at RCNN. Charts can be found at www.vatroc.org.
