L-188 Sound Update For Cielo And Chris Buff Electras

File Description:
These files are updated sound files for the Electras uploaded by Bill Schulz of the Cielo Company, and for the Chris Buff Gmax L-188's. These sounds were digitally sampled from Reeve Aleutian Airways Electras prior to their demise. I believe these FS2000 style sounds are better than the FS2002 versions, so I've left them intact so as not to have strong "echo" sounds. For real-world Electra operations visit www.flyelectra.com. U.S. And Canadian Lock System At Sault Saint Marie, Michigan

File Description:
The shipping locks between Lake Superior and Lakes Huron / Michigan adjust the 20 foot elevation difference and are the busiest locks in the world. As they were not part of the FS2004 scenery, they have been added here. Additional area scenery is available but not required. See documentation provided with the scenery set.

Garmin G1000 and CRJ-700 FSX SP-1 Gauge Fix

File Description:
FSX SP-1 fixed some of the Instrument Panel issues in the original release, but they missed a couple of items that should have been picked up. After a full reinstall of FSX and the SP-1 Patch, you can use these files to correct the gauge errors. As a pilot and former navigator, I couldn't let these go. The TAS display on all installed G1000 MFDs is displayed as CS, and the TAS in the CRJ-700 is shown as IAS. The two enclosed zip files will correct both issues. The specific and simple instructions are included in each file in Readme.txt files. Happy Flying - Per Ardua Ad Astra!

File Description:
YKLN Kulin Town and YJLN Kulin, Jilakin Rock. Kulin is located in the upper great southern Wheatbelt of Western Australia, the Shire of Kulin covers an area of 4,790 square kilometres. It encompasses the towns of Kulin, Pingaring, Dudinin, Jitarning, and Holt Rock. The Kulin economy is based on agriculture and was settled by pastoralists in 1905. The crosswind runway is actually 7 miles to the east at Jilakin Rock and slopes uphill to the east. For convenience, I have used fictitious YJLN. Jilakin Downs is a Dorper sheep stud farm and the home of the Kulin Bush Races. Dorpers are currently under a cloud in Western Australia as the local abatoirs claim their hair is contaminating the meat and won't accept them. "We welcome air traffic to our 2012 Kulin Bush Races Weekend. A crosswind airstrip is available, with a shuttle bus service to the Jilakin Track. GPS position is S32-39-95 E118-18-71 and the elevation is 950 feet. The strip is 7 nautical miles east of the town of Kulin. Camping and toilets are close to the strip so that you can camp near your plane. Kulin airstrip is also available for landing and takeoff during the weekend, a shuttle bus is available to take you out to the race track. If this option is chosen please contact Barry West.
