| Botswana and Namibia Airport Packages: Library Objects Site List |
|
File Description:
Dear FS sceneryists:
A fellow enthusiast has mentioned to me that the flightsim.com download links no longer work for the object libraries that I included with my Botswana and Namibia scenery packages (botswana_airports.zip, botswana_airports_update_1.zip, botswana_airports_update_2.zip, namibia_airports.zip, namibia_airports_update_1.zip, nambia_airports_update_2.zip). This is probably because flightsim.com changed their library structure a few months ago.
At his request, I've included the actual scenery library file names, and the website you can find them on. You don't have to install them for the scenery to work (i.e. it'll do fine without the libraries, just missing a few objects), but if you want them, you can now find them!

| YLEA Leeman, Western Australia (Snag Island) airstrip and town |
|
File Description:
YLEA Leeman - formerley Snag Island is a tiny fishing village which is ideal for fishermen and holiday makers eager to get away from the more commercialised centres. Calling itself the 'Home of Western Australia's Dhufish' the settlement boasts huge and dramatic white sand dunes, good beach and offshore fishing, safe beaches for surfing, swimming and sailboarding, and superb displays of wildflowers in the spring. Leeman is home to a crayfish (lobster) fishing fleet which plies the fishing grounds off the coast in the season. The industry developed in the 1950s and has since become one of the most important on the Central West coast. It is also a dormitory suburb for the nearby sand mining town of Eneabba. File Description:
This packets includes 2 Dutch repaints of AT-6 Harvard.
- The "Dutch" N13FY, although on US registration, based in the Netherlands and owned and flown by ex-KLM Captain Hanno Wesdorp.
- The Dutch PH-TBR of the SKHV (Dutch Historical Flight), in the colors of the BAFO base flight of Deelen AB.
To be used with the freeware T-6G Texan by Warwick Carter (Wozza), available
HERE
Yes, I know the T-6G Texan is different from the AT-6 Harvard yet think the
model comes close enough.
Besides the outside, the inside of the aircraft is repainted as-well, including
the pilot and some instruments.
