File Description:
This scenery is unique in that it is designed for the student or visiting pilot flying in and out of this airport. All navaids are as accurate as possible for FS9. Glideslope is scheduled to be activated in October 2003. (The new 6,000' extension has been delayed and completion date is now 2004). Both are included. Numerous navaids and aerial photographs were used. Approved for practice but not for navigation. Check current NOTAMS. Special thanks to Dan the Airport Manager and Mark the Chief Flight Instructor. Malaysian Airways DH Comet 4 9M-AOD

File Description:
Malaysian used Comets quite extensively using leased aircraft from BOAC and then buying the first five aircraft in the BOAC fleet. This one started out as G-APDD being delivered to the Corporation in November 1958. Acquired my Malaysian as 9M-AOD in November 1965 it was transferred to Malaysian Singapore Airlines as of December 30 1966. Service with the new almalgamated carrier lasted until November 1969 when in was sold to Dan Air and reverted to G-APDD. After spending some time on lease to East African Airlines as 5Y-AMT is was withdrawn after making it's last Dan Air flight in August 1972. It was broken up at Lasham in March of the following year. Requires the DH 106 Comet 4 model by David Maltby

Everything is designed to keep the hit on the frame rates as small as possible. So I kept all objects simple and used photo real textures to add detail.

It is (or at least should be ;) ) fully compatible with FS2002.

Republic P-47N 'Lady Leota'

File Description:
Lady Leota was a P-47N-5 Thunderbolt flown by the 437th FS, 414th FG serving with the 20th Air Force in the Pacific Theater in July, 1945. This textures only repaint of Lady Leota is of the excellent new Alphasim P-47D using the outstanding paint kit by Dan Swart available with it.
