After months of hard work (and some time off from the 777 GE90 project) it's finally available. Ladies and gentlemen I'd like to present to you........ my Pratt & Whitney JT9D-7R4G2 soundset! True 747 thunder can now be heard in FS2004 :) My "testbed" was a Project Opensky Boeing 747-300, but the soundset also works fine with the -100/-200 models. This soundset also features internal systems and APU sounds for a more realistic atmosphere both inside and outside of the cockpit. Please see the readme file for credits and installation instructions. I once again managed to beat the size of my previous soundset by approx. 100 KB's :P But do not be put off because of the filesize. This is just 37,1MB's of pure quality, guaranteed.

My quest for soundset making is winding down. I have accomplished much in the last 2 years of sound design and I am extremely proud that people enjoy my work. However, all good things must come to an end, so why not go out with a bang. I present to you, the Pratt & Whitney PW4060 in the most realistic soundset to date. Everything is in this set from startups, shutdowns, apu and system sounds, flaps, gear, touchdown, roll, and ofcorse the engines, all in stereo. If you know the quality of my soundsets then you will not be disappointed with this set. Recomended for use with the Level-D 767-300 and the POSKY 767-200/300 models. Please Enjoy

Here's the 1941 Culver Cadet for FSX. It's a major revision of the Culver Cadet I created back in 2004 for FS9. The improvements are too numerous to list, but I'll at least list a few: Much better flight model--validated by someone with 39 hours of actual Culver Cadet time (me!), better textures (four different Cadets included), full panel, and a detailed virtual cockpit. Pressing "A" cycles between several custom cameras (right seat, 3-point landing over-nose view, gear retraction view). Trackir 5 and/or Ezdoc recommended, to see everything. A 2d panel is also included. Sounds were obtained by recording an actual Cadet in-flight (engine, landing gear manual retraction, etc.). Four different paints included, for four different N numbers.

This sound.cfg replaces the one uploaded in August 2008. Both the interior and exterior sounds have been improved. Please replace the sound.cfg you already downloaded by this new one. In my search for a good sound for the Douglas DC-6/-6A/-6B/-6C, XC-112A/YC-112A, VC-118, the C-118A/R6D-1 series and the Canadair C-5, I struck on the fabulous soundpack for the beautiful Douglas A-26 Invader of Milton Shupe and the Sim-Outhouse Team, made by David C. Copley. Most of the wav-files in this soundpack are recordings of the Pratt & Whitney Double Wasp R-2800 engines of an A-26 Invader. Having studied the Invaders sound pack, I discovered that by ‘tweaking’ the sound.cfg, particularly with regard to the exterior sounds, it became possible to develop a good exterior DC-6 sound (4 engines). No changes were made to the wav-files, as I didn’t want to modify them; the
wav-files just sound wonderful. In order to make your system reproduce the DC-6 sound, first download from www.sim-outhouse.com the great Douglas A-26 Invader package and enjoy flying that plane. Then copy the sound pack of the A-26 to the DC-6, and replace the existing sound.cfg by the revised one you just downloaded. This DC-6 sound has been tested in FS2004 only. Special thanks to David C. Copley who gave his permission to upload the modified sound.cfg as freeware, with limited distribution, at Sim-Outhouse.com and Avsim.com. P3D Boeing 747-400 KUBE Airlines with advanced VC by Alejandro Rojas Lucena and VC Texture Upgrade by Enrique Cornejo. This gives the b747 a payware Virtual Cockpit look! The aircraft has new engine views (from both wings) and new Virtual Cockpit interior views from the left, right and central jump seats. This aircraft uses the Project Opensky FSX Boeing B747-400 CF6 Model V.4.1, and includes the gauge window Posky Utility to view the main stairs, ground cargo servicing, etc. The engine sounds are edited like the real ones with cockpit ambient, so you can enjoy a pleasant flight. This package includes the old and the new livery. Assembled, painted and edited for P3D by Joerg Zeitschel. This aircraft has been tested in Prepar3D v.4.5. COMPLETE AIRCRAFT PACKAGE !

File Description:
This update is the product of a major aircraft refit and extensive engine overhaul. All the engine problems that were inherent in the original model (and there were many) have finally been resolved.
Gone is the unreal and potentially engine wrecking surge on start-up. And, the reversers kicking in while the engines are off! Also the engine performance profiles have been completely re-modelled to conform to the correct specifications and engine limitations schedule.
New cockpit sounds have been introduced to give the truecockpit ambience. So now you can at last hear the famous Conway howl and scream from within the cockpit (just!).
Check lists have been further extended.
Furthermore there are four completely new panels plus numerous tweaks and enhancements to existing gauges. All fully illustrated and explained in the documentation.
