| Avro Lancaster Sound Package |

File Description:
This is a complete sound package created specifically for the four engined Avro Lancaster with Rolls-Royce Merlin engines (but will work with any other four engined prop aircraft). This package has been designed so that each engine sounds slightly different, along with their own individual startup and shutdown sounds thus giving them their own character. The result being a loud and very rich sound as they all work together. You could say that this is four sound files in one!.
Parts of this package have been taken from "free to use" FS sound files plus some from FS9 itself which have been blended together to get the best engine sound possible. If you've got a pair of headphones or big speakers on your system, then you're in for a treat. I also recommend downloading my panel (lncpnlv2.zip) from FS2004 Panels, and Dave Garwood's Avro Lancaster to complete the set.

Includes CRJ panel with HUD by Johan Peeters and full sounds by Aaron R. Swindle from Skysong Soundworks. Repaint and compiled by Alberto Guerrero.

In my search for sounds that would be (nearly) matching the real sounds of the Douglas C-54/DC-4 and the Aviation Traders ATL.98 Carvair (vehicle ferry conversion of the C-54 and DC-4), I struck on the DC-3 Sound Pack compiled
by Des Braban several years ago. Although intended as a DC-3 sound set, it doesn't quite sound like the Pratt & Whitney Twin Wasp C-series (aka R-1830) engines which powered the majority of the DC-3/C-47/C-53 aircraft. Instead it sounds much more like the Pratt & Whitney Twin Wasp D-series (aka R-2000) engines which powered the C-54/DC-4 and, later on, the Pan American converted Hi-Per DC-3, the EC-47Q, the DHC-4 Caribou and ATL.98 Carvair. In order to make the sound set appropriate for the four engined C-54/DC-4/Carvair, I slightly altered the sound.cfg by just doubling the number of engines and copying some existing lines. Nothing else has been changed. All the wav files remained unaltered and no wav files have been added. The result, however, is a full sound which is very close to that of the real C-54/DC-4/Carvair. In order to get the proper sound, you will require Des Braban's DC-3 Sound Package (dc3sndpk.zip). Original sound.cfg by Des Braban; revised for Douglas DC-4/C-54 and Aviation Traders ATL.98 Carvair by Maarten Brouwer.

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the Consolidated B-24D by Flight Replicas, adapted for use in P3Dv5. It shows B-24D-165-CO 42-72858 GJ-U "Pistol Packin' Mama" of the 68th BS, 44th BG, based in Shipdham, UK. It was hit by a German fighter during an attack on Tutow on the 9th of April 1944. The pilot, Lt. Palmer managed to reach Sweden, where he made an emergency landing at Bulltofta. The nosewheel collapsed, but the crew was unhurt. The aircraft was too damaged to be repaired and was scrapped in Sweden. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Flight Replicas.

File Description:
This is a repaint of the Cessna C-172 in Ethiopian Airlines colors. The payware Cessna C-172 by A2A is needed for this repaint. Ethiopian Airlines has Africa's largest aviation academy. Although the focus is on pilot training, they also have courses for ground staff, maintenance technicians, cabin crew, and leadership roles. Currently they are training about 1,300 students, who come from all over Africa. As for the pilot training, they use the Cessna C-172s. This is a repaint of one of the Cessnas in their training fleet. Textures are DXT5 dds. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should work on FSX & P3D v1-3.

File Description:
FSX / FS2004 Southern Cross Fokker FVII/3m.
The 'Southern Cross' made the first crossing of the Pacific Ocean by an aircraft, flown by Charles Kingsford-Smith and a crew of three. They took off from Oakland, California on May 31, 1928, and arrived at Brisbane, Australia on June 19. The Southern Cross was, at the time, even more famous than Charles Lindberg's 'Spirit of St. Louis'. The Southern Cross is preserved today at Brisbane Airport. This package includes the aircraft model and ready-made flights you can use to recreate the 1928 experience. Improved version 2 model, modified to work with FSX as well as FS2004. By Jens B. This F-86E (N186FS/47-1461/FU-461/cn 1461) is owned by Ed Shipley and was formerly owned by NASA astronaut, Air Force Colonel, and former CEO of Eastern Airlines Frank Borman. The paint scheme of this F-86 is a combination of two F-86 liveries which Frank Borman flew at the 3595th Combat Crew Training Wing and the USAF Fighter Weapons School. Based on original textures by Jan Visser, this texture set requires the base F-86E package available from the SectionF8 homepage: www.sectionf8.com. Installation instructions are included.
