| Global Airways Douglas C-54 |

File Description:
The repaint features Global Airways' N79000, an early production Douglas C-54 (c/n 3058) built at the Douglas factory at Santa Monica, CA, and delivered to the USAAF on February 8, 1943 as 41-37272. In 1946 the Civil Aviation Administration took her over as NC79000. Having been converted to DC-4 standard, she was bought on April 11, 1951 by Eastern Air Lines as N79000 '721'. In May 1955 she was sold and served many users such as Northwest, Transocean and World. In 1960 California Airmotive became the owner of the C-54. During September and October 1960 the C-54 was leased by Global Airways, a company based in Philadelphia, PA, from 1946 to around 1960. (founded by Simon Bolnick and Joseph Raphael; passenger charter operations included fishing and hunting charters to Canada.) In May 1961 the C-54 was sold as D-ADAM to Continentale in Germany. Already in December 1962 Continentale went bankrupt and the aircraft was stored in the open at Hamburg. In July 1963 Aviation Traders (Engineering) Ltd purchased the C-54 for conversion to Carvair car-ferry aircraft. As it turned out, the condition of the C-54 was extremely poor (corrosion on many places on the wing spars) so makeshift repairs were done before the aircraft was ferried to Stansted for its rebuild to Carvair G-ASKN.

| FS2004 Ernest Harmon Air Force Base and Stephenville Airport CYJT |

File Description:
FS2004 Scenery--Ernest Harmon Air Force Base and Stephenville Airport (CYJT), Newfoundland, 1957-62. Originally built to facilitate the transport of US aircraft to Europe during the Second World War, during the Cold War Harmon was the biggest US base outside the USA. Like nearby Gander it was a vital refuelling point for transatlantic crossings, but also an important part of the defences against the threat of Soviet bombers carrying muclear weapons attacking the USA via the North Pole. F-89 Scorpions and then F-102 Delta Daggers were based there, and this download includes F-89s especially made for this scenery by David Wooster. It also has custom landclass adjustments by Al Von Pingel and many custom buildings by Dan French. Flight plans are provided for 1957, 1959 and 1962, doing much to recreate this significant Cold War base as it really was. By Al Von Pingel, Dan French and Ken Lawson.

| Seiser Alm STOL and Gliding Area |

File Description:
Seiser Alm, is the largest high altitude Alpine meadow in Europe. Located in Italy's South Tyrol province in the Dolomites mountain range, it is a major tourist attraction, known for skiing and hiking.
This is a simple fun creation of a real world R/C sailplane and Para gliding site in the Italian Dolomites. There is no airport, no flatten so you must exercise caution when landing a STOL aircraft or sailplane. I have landed many types here including sailplanes and the FSDS Porter as well as a Cessna 185. The nearest real world airport is LIPD Bolzano. There are two landing areas represented one high is the actual site where R/C sailplanes with wingspans of up to 10 meters are launched into the air, as well as paragliders. .The lower field is a bonus area with a nice flat area for easier landings and take offs. It is the real world site of a famous ski lodge and resort.(look for the Chalet!)

| East African Airways 'circa 1974' Douglas DC-9-32 |

This is a repaint of a DC-9-32 in East African Airways (EAA) colors. The payware DC-9-30 by Sky Simulations is needed for this repaint. East African Airways was formed by the governments of Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania, and started operations in January 1946 . It had an extensive network and flew to many points in Africa, Europe, and the Middle East. It was quite an iconic airline, however, being an airline jointly run by three governments led to problems. Increasing financial, political, and diplomatic difficulties plagued the carrier’s operations in 1976. The Kenyan government pulled the plug in 1977, when in January they formed Kenya Airways to replace EAA. Thus, without a political and financial base, EAA suddenly ceased operations in February of that year. EAA operated 5 DC-9-30s. Textures are DXT5. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should work on FSX & P3D v1-3.

South West Aviation started at Exeter in 1966 commencing operations with a Piper Aztec. By early 1968 the airline had grown and acquired a Shorts Skyvan on lease and had established footholds at Bristol Lulsgate and Swansea as well as Exeter. Late 1968 they acquired their first DC3 aircraft G-APBC which operated numerous charter flights within UK and to Ireland and the rest of Europe. It was used for airborne filming of the 'Torrey Canyon' and Aberfan disasters. A second DC3 G-AMYJ was acquired in 1969. Initially the DC3's carried out most of their flying from SW England and S Wales. However, in April 1969 'BC started charter operations between Norwich, Tesside and Aberdeen in support of the North Sea oil industry. 1970 saw the introduction of scheduled air services to Cherbourg from both Exeter and Southampton using the DC3. In 1972 SWA were bought out by Ashford based Air Freight Ltd and the name of South West Aviation disappeared. Requires default DC-3.

Re-upload. FSX/FS2004 KLM Douglas DC-4-1009 PH-DBT. Built at Santa Monica, CA (c/n 42908). Powered by four 1,450 hp Pratt & Whitney Twin Wasp 2SD13G or Pratt & Whitney R-2000-11M2 engines. This was the first 'real' DC-4 delivered to KLM on 16 March 1946, following the delivery of 18 ex-USAAF C-54 Skymasters. The aircraft was registered PH-TAT, named 'Twenthe'. On 29 March 1954 PH-TAT was re-registered PH-DBT and sprayed in an attractive modern version of the 'Flying Dutchman' livery. It was sold to Air France on 3 June 1958. After having flown with Trans Europe and Vargas Aviation it was impounded in July 1975 by the government of Niger and stored. The DC-4 has probably been scrapped since. These are textures only. "Swiss hangar collection" open its doors to Europe adding repaints of aircraft from EU. Every aircraft is perfectly reproduced like the original one. Drawing are based on the author photo documentation or from photos available on internet Airliners.net, MyAviation.net etc.). This aircraft, Piper Archer III I-LIVO belongs to Aeroclub "Carlo Del Prete", Lucca-Tassignano airport (LIQL), Tuscany,Italy. A template for this aircraft is also avalaible on the DreamFleet main page, but unfortunatly show several errors (Fiat badge also on the right upper right wing, wings blue band too big - blue on the nose must end under the two air intake ... see the included photo to compare the two versions....). This template is really like the real aircraft! There is also advertising on the fuselage, above the cabin door, but at presents I have no clear photo of the writing..... as soon as it will be available I will correct this template and upload it again!

| Torrejon Air Force Base (LETO), 1957-62 |

File Description:
Torrejón Air Base was originally the home of the Spanish National Institute of Aeronautics, but as a result of an agreement between Franco and the Unites States in 1953 an air base was created there with a large military apron and a runway 13,400 feet long - the longest in Europe for some decades. Officially opened in June 1957, both US bombers and fighters were based there, most significantly the B-47 Stratojet, which had too short a range to be operated only from the U.S. In July of 1958 the 497th Fighter Interceptor Squadron became the first permanently stationed Air Defence Group operating F-86L Sabres and from April 1960 the F-102 Delta Dagger. Over the years many different units and therefore many different aircraft types did TDY (Temporary Duty Assignments - usually 30-90 days) at Torrejon. Units of the Spanish Air Force were also present and are represented in this scenery package.
