File Description:
This is a very nice and unusual addition to your AIA traffic within Europe. All models used are from AI Aardvark models. If you need the models that I used, please drop me a note. Otherwise, all models are available for download at Avsim, or at www.ai-aardvark.com.
Repaints included are aircraft in liveries that never flew, but they very well could have. Liveries are from the 1960s era.

Aer Lingus 727-200
All repaints are 32Bit with no mipmaps. If you prefer the textures in DXT3 format, drop me a note and I’ll be glad to send them to you. Nothing unusual about installation.

| HLLM Wheelus Air Base 1955-1962 |

File Description:
Wheelus AB was a USAF base located in Tripoli Libya until it was closed in 1970. Wheelus served many purposes: as a MATS station; as a Reflex base hosting various bombers for short rotations at different times; and as a gunnery and bombing training facility supporting many United States Air Forces in Europe squadrons which flew in for month long training sessions to practice live gunnery and bomb training exercises at the nearby El-Uotia Gunnery Range. This is also included in the scenery. Separate traffic is provided for 1955, 1957, 1959 and 1962, each schedule reflecting a mix of visiting squadrons and aircraft types. It can get to be a pretty colorful place if you install all those provided for.

High detailed repaint for Wilco Airbus Series Vol.2. Aer Lingus A330-301 Reg: EI-JFK. Aer Lingus is the flag carrier of the Republic of Ireland. Based at Dublin Airport, it operates 41 Airbus aircraft serving Europe, Africa, North America and the Middle East. The airline is 28% owned by the Irish government; it was floated on the Dublin and London Stock Exchanges on 2 October 2006, following prior government approval (the government previously owned 85% of the airline). Aer Lingus is a former member of the Oneworld airline alliance, which it left on March 31, 2007. The company employs 4,000 people and has revenue of €1.1 billion as of 2006. Aer Lingus transferred 8.6 million passengers in 2006.

Around 40 sceneries of small airfields in the Czech Republic, each enhanced with buildings, taxiways, parking spaces and aprons as appropriate, to further facilitate the generation of lightweight AI traffic in the area, without overloading the more major airfields.Inspired by a comprehensive selection of regional lightweight GA aircraft on FlightSim.CZ, all appropriately textured to suit the area, with a matching traffic file, these sceneries are all aligned with the roads, rivers and railways etc. in UT Europe, but should mostly be fine in a default installation or other configuration. These sceneries offer a little more generic detail than the AFCADS available on FlightSim.CZ, but often at the expense of fewer parking areas. As always, you can mix and match to suit your own preferences.

| Douglas C-47 (PH-PBA) Rijksluchtvaartdienst |

This folder contains a repaint for version 3.14 of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of PH-PBA. It was built as c/n 19434 and went to the 8th Air Force as 42-100971. She served among other during Operation Market Garden. After the war, she was obtained by Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands and registered as PH-PBA in 1946. In 1947, the Rijksluchtvaartdienst (RLD, Civil Aviation Authoroties) took her on charge, and from then on she served as the first Dutch Government aircraft, used mainly to fly the Dutch Royal family, often with Prince Bernhard as pilot. In 1961 she was replaced by a Fokker F-27, but continued to be used by the RLD, in the paintscheme presented here. In 1975, she was transferred to the Aviodome museum at Schiphol airport, where she stood outside for 20 years. Prince Bernhard always lobbied for a return to airworthiness for PH-PBA, and in 1995 she reappeared on the Dutch register. She is currently flying with the Dutch Dakota Association, in a combined KLM - Air France paintscheme. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom for Manfred Jahn's C-47 version 3.14, based on the paintkit by Gman5250.

| Nomads Travel Club 1998 |

File Description:
Nomads Travel Club may be one of the most storied travel clubs in aviation history. Founded in 1961 and based in Detroit(DTW), where the airline had it's own terminal, Nomads Travel Club gave up to 10,000 adventurous members the opportunity to hop on aircraft for elaborate tours across the earth. Initially flying a DC-7C, the airline upgraded to a L-188 Electra, CV-990, 727-100, and finally 727-200 N727M in 1993 which served the club until it's demise in 2011. N727M has traveled to dozens of countries and hundreds of airports, and I was able to find good information about 2 tours flown in 1998 and represented them in these plans. The aircraft spends at least half a day at each destination except for YHZ which is just a Westbound refueling stop. As far as I could find, the airline had no callsign or codes, so I am guessing they used the registration as a callsign. There is a paint for the AIA 727-200 on Avsim as "aib722nomads.zip".Flightplans by Chasen Richardson, based on real tours flown in 1998. Part of the 1998 Flight Simulator Project. This is a repaint of the Douglas C-124A in USAF colors. The freeware Douglas C-124 for FSX by Jens Kristensen (JBK) is needed for this repaint. C-124A Serial 49-0258 was delivered to the USAF on January 31, 1951. It was assigned to the 3rd Strategic Support Squadron, or Triple-S, which ferried nuclear devices among Strategic Air Command bases. In 1961 it was redepployed to 305th Troop Carrier Squadron (TCS). Later on in the same year it was assigned to the Tactical Air Command (TAC). Then in March 1962: to 442nd Troop Carrier Wing (TAC), Tinker AFB, OK. In July 1962: To 1502nd Air Transport Wing (MATS), Hickam AFB, Hawaii. Then March 1963: to 1503rd Air Transport Wing (MATS), Tachikawa AB, Japan . June 1964: back to 1502nd Air Transport Wing at Hickam. Then: Aug 1965 to 916th Troop Carrier Group (AFRES), Carswell AFB, TX. In January 1966 the unit became the 916th Military Airlift Group. In July 1969 it ended up being assigned to the 3902nd Air Base Wing (SAC), Offutt AFB, Nebraska. Now it is under restoration at the Air Mobility Command Museum, Dover AFB, Delaware. Textures are 32bit DDS. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should also work on FSX, and P3Dv1-3.

Boeing B-52 Stratofortress (Part 2). The B-52 first flew in 1952, the last one was built in 1961, and there are still over 90 of the original 744 airframes either in front-line service or in a ready-reserve status. With extensive avionics upgrades starting this year, the USAF plans on using the B-52s until 2045. The aircraft has an impressive resume, having served in five shooting wars and was the backbone of Strategic Air Command's nuclear deterrent air component during almost forty years of Cold War service.
Jake Burrus started this AI traffic model a couple of years ago, and I was honoured to pick up the project and get it across the finish line, with no small amount of help from Mike MacIntyre, as usual. This is a 7-LOD AI traffic model representing the Stratofortress in all of its operational service. This is part 2, covering the B-52F, which spearheaded the original Arc Light missions in Vietnam in 1965, and includes a total of 40 repaints. Also included are optional models for VFR traffic use. Aircraft model by Jake Burrus and Mike Pearson, master textures and repaints by Mike Pearson, flight dynamics by Mike MacIntyre. Please read the extensive documentation contained in the file.
