| Korean Air 1998 AI Package |

File Description:
Korean Air was one of only 2 airlines doing domestic Korean flights in 1998, with Korean Air having a much larger market share than Asiana and extensively flying the A300s on many domestic routes. By 1998, Korean Air had converted(to a freighter) or retired most of the 747-200s, 747-300s, MD-11s and A300B4s, but they were still in the fleet in very small numbers. The A330-300 and 777-200 were also starting to join the fleet very slowly with a few examples of each. The MD-80s and Fokker 100s were being used in decent numbers on both domestic flights and flights to Japan and China. The 747SPs were active but only picked up flying as spare airplanes, so they mostly sit in GMP but during the week do GMP-SFO-DEN, GMP-NRT-LAX-GMP, and GMP-HKG flights taken from 747-400s. As is the case with some of these plans, to upkeep 100% of the OAG flight schedule using the limitations of AI in flight simulator, there are a few extra planes(4x MD-80 and 1x Fokker 100) in these plans with fake registration numbers. The user may decided if they'd rather see all real life flights or the real amount of aircraft. Ranmori has painted a 727-200 as a bonus, and I gave these extra 4 MD-80s registration numbers from 727s and segregated them from the flightplans in case you wish to use the 727, but in real life it was retired in late 1996. Note that these plans and all 1998 plans use the Seoul-Gimpo airport(GMP/RKSS) as Incheon(ICN/RKSI) did not open until 2001. Textures by Ranmori Scythe for the AIA MD-80, Fokker 100, FAIB 747-200, 747-300, 747-400, 747SP FSPX 777-200, A330-300, MD-11, TFS A300B4 and A300-600R along with the AIA 727-200 bonus included. This folder contains 17 types of EICAS (Engine Indicating and Crew Alerting System) for Lear45, CRJ700, B737-800, B767-300, MD83, A300B1, A300B2, A350, CRJ100, CRJ300, B777-200, A320, A321, A310-100, A300B4, A350-800, B777-200ER, B787, A310 standard, A310-300, A330-200 and B777-200LR.
They replace older tje xml files, they have been improved and provide following utilities:N1, ITT, N2, fuel flow, Vibration, Oil pressure, Oil temperature, Landing gear position, Flaps positions, Pitch trim, Spoilers positions, Total, main tanks and auxiliaries tanks fuel.
The left knob activate spoilers, the right knob adjusts the N1 bug for autopilot.
Added two extra xml, if you do not find your favorite aircraft you can use the tje_full_range.xml which has total fuel of 6 digits, 5 digits for all tanks and full 8 flaps steps, this should fit with any twin jet engine aircraft. If this is not sufficient then use tje_extra_range.xml with 6 digits for all fuel and 8 steps for flaps. If you need more, that means you are flying a military tanker !

Meridiana, Italy’s long established privately owned airline, has announced an
exciting new phase of growth and development with its new identity as Air Italy.
During a press conference in Milan, Mr. Marco Rigotti, Chairman of Alisarda and AQA
Holding; His Excellency Mr. Akbar Al Baker, Group Chief Executive of Qatar Airways;
Mr. Sultan Allana of Alisarda and AKFED and Mr. Francesco Violante, Chairman of
Meridiana, unveiled Air Italy’s fresh and modern brand identity and presented the
new airline business plan, focusing on excellent passenger experience and the next
generation of traveller, aimed at positioning itself as Italy’s leading airline.
Air Italy aims to have approximately 50 aircraft by 2022 and is already committed to
receiving 20 of the brand new Boeing 737 MAX aircraft type from April 2018, over the
next three years. Air Italy will also receive five Airbus A330-200 aircraft this
year from the Qatar Airways’ fleet, prior to these being further replaced by Boeing
787-8 Dreamliner aircraft, commencing in May 2019.
