AI Tall Ships sailing on Long Island Sound - A gathering of ten vintage AI Sailing Ships near Fisher's Island, New York. This scenery features incredibly detailed AI Sailing Ships modeled by Ron Jeffers, Pierre de Rotalier and Mike Hill. The project includes a replica of the Pequod - Captain Ahab's whaling ship in the epic novel "Moby Dick". Eight of the ten ships make twice daily trips around Fisher's Island. There is also an animated naval rowboat which makes short demonstration runs daily. With one exception, all required files are included. This scenery has been tested with Ultimate Terrain and the FS2004 default environment. Please unzip to a temporary folder and follow the simple, illustrated instructions. Then sit back, watch the seas come to life and relive a little history. This package works very well with John B.Loney's Elizabeth Airport - 0b8_v1.zip - available here. This is a repaint of the excellent TDS (Tenkuu Developers Studio) Boeing 757-300 WL model, in Condor Flugdienst "Island" livery, D-ABOL. Texture only. The textures are saved in 32bit format for quality graphics. Model developed by Tenkuu Developers Studio, features high resolution textures, dynamic flexing wings, nose gear steering, rudder lock, ground spoilers, low speed aileron locks at high speed, fully animated control surfaces, fully independent suspension, trim animation, opening passenger doors, rolling wheels, animated thrust reverse with reverser block doors, detailed textures, full night lighting, ground service vehicles and more. | PABA - Barter Island (Kaktovik) - Alaska North Slope 8 |

File Description:
The town of Barrow is in the far north of Alaska, and these are coastal villages or radar installations to the west, south, and now east of Barrow. There will be further additions. Barter Island is a DEW station Air Force base 310 miles east of Barrow and 75 miles east of Bullen Point. The runway is just under 5,000 feet of gravel and aligned 06-24 on a spit of land at the northeast corner of the island. The big hangar is still there on the apron. Most of the DEW buildings have now been removed but this scenery is dated around 2005 when there were more of them still there. Between the DEW station and the airstrip is the village of Kaktovik, with a population of some 300 mainly traditional Inupiat. The village was first pioneered when the DEW station was built in the 1950's and grew as the years passed. The FS9 error discovered when making this scenery was that FS9 had mistakenly "placed" Kaktovik at Bullen Point (not physically, it was just wrongly stated as the local town); this is now only partly corrected as FS9 refused to accept my Bullen Point revision but allowed me to associate Kaktovik with Barter Island. Kaktovik is definitely on Barter Island. I could also mention that the runway was in the sea, but there isn't much point in that as Bill would say it was all the fault of Ultimate Terrain, so I won't bother. The next DEW station to the east is in Canada and called Komakuk; this has already been made and posted. The next in this series will be far to the west. The AI has daily flights by ERA, plus Northern Air Cargo, and some GA.

File Description:
Bartlett Village is just north of Bartlett Cove and created to make your flights to Bartlett Cove more fun. the water runway at Bartlett Cove points north directly at the Village float plane dock. There is also a helipad at the docks along with the Bartlett Village Inn. There are room rentals, cabin rentals, a small store near the docks for food, beverage and fishing supplies. The ACA, Alaska Conservation agency has a work camp on the island and there are two private residences, a light house on the SW end and other candies around the island. Gustavus has several new additions but no changes to the default configuration of the airport. If you fly around on the south west area of the island you may see a whale or two. Come by and visit. Read the readme and enjoy.

File Description:
Bequia island is one of the northernmost of the group of islands known as St Vincent and the Grenadines, just south of St Vincent. Bequia is a small curved island island, 8 miles long and in general less than a mile wide; as a result the resident population is less than 5,000.
There are two main towns, Port Elizabeth (the capital, on the bay) and Paget Farm (close to the airport).
The airport is built on reclaimed land parallel to the beach along the south coast, just west of Paget Farm; the runway is 3,700 feet long. The terminal is fairly new, or appears to be, though it may have just been well cared for. There are connecting flights by SVG to Barbados and the other islands and these are reflected in the AI.
