| Sky King Airlines Summer 2010 -- Updated |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
It was pointed out to me on the AIG Forums that I had two duplicate flightplans included in my previous upload. Also, thanks to Ghiom of the AIG Forum, I came into possession of a Sky King flight schedule for the month of July. Although my flightplans are based upon FlightAware for the period of June 27 - July 3, I have placed the correct aircraft at the correct hub. Additionally, for those who are adventurous, I've added N465AT to the plan. On July 1 & 2, this aircraft was in Greenland (yup, that Green Land the BIG Island) and flew over to Anchorage on July 3 and on to Miami on July 4.

| Air Zaire DC-4 1971 |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
This is a repaint of the DC-4 in Air Zaire colors. The freeware DC-4 (C-54) V3 by Jens B Kristensen is needed for this repaint. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should also work on FSX & P3D v1-3. Textures are 32bit DDS.
Air Zaire operated 8 DC-4s. These were passed on to the airline by Air Congo, after the name change in 1971. This DC-4, 9Q-CBG was with Air Congo/Air Zaire from 1967 to July 1976, when it was sold to Zaire Aero Service. It tragically crashed with that airline, on August 23 1988, over Mbamou Island in in the Republic of the Congo.

File Description:
Eight lighthouse tours: Agios Sostis, Bonaire, Canton Island, Cape Marekan, North and South Gogland, Peristeres, Spathi, and Point Pinos. These missions were programmed in Windows 10 (64bit)for FSX Acceleration and will also work in FSX Steam, P3DV3,V4,V5,and V6. However, several of these tours have specific requirements of Orbx scenery which is detailed in the .txt instructions.Photos of all the lites are included in each mission set. Once again, be sure to read the instructions in the .txt files. These missions have been thoroughly tested and should work as described. Due to large topographic differences in P3DV5 and V6, there will be peculiarities, but the missions should still work.

| Moorea Airport, French Polynesia, NTTM |
|
File Description:
This version completely redoes the previous with a more accurate representation of the entire airport. It contains four distinct areas including the main terminal, a fictional sea plane pier and shelter, rudimentary hangars, and some Polynesian huts along with a pier and sail boats in the bay just down from the airport. This Island is the closest to Tahiti, and you can even see the Tahiti airport from it. The other outer Society Islands will be coming soon. It is suggested that you also download the file Fpsimesh.zip, which has been made for FS2004, and provides a very nice alternative to the boring terrain which FS has put in this most beautiful area of the world.

| FS Nav 4.6 Crete |
|
File Description:
This file is an FS Navigator 4.6 flight plan which will produce a very nice guided tour of the island of Crete. It it has been written with the specific intention of showing off the highlights of Jacques Sylvain's beautiful Crete 2004 scenery. Some of these can be a little difficult to find: my flight plan will automatically take you on the following route, optimising the altitude for best views as you go:
Sitia airport - Ierapetra (south coast) - Lasithi Plain (with windmills) - Knossos Palace - Herakleion airport & Harbour - Mount Idi (birthplace of Zeus!) - Rethymnon Harbour - Chania Harbour - Souda (Chania) airport.
Take off, engage FSNav and the autopilot, then sit back and enjoy Jacques Sylvain's scenery......

| 'Lulu' and Music for the Grumman Goose Bali Hai |
|
File Description:
This package will put Lulu, of the Grumman Duck fame, onto the dash of your Grumman Goose. It also adds the music panel, also from the Duck, into your cockpit as well. Included are eight selections of oldies music appropriate for flying around the Carribean or South Pacific. Duck Gauges by Bill Morad. Switch gauges by Robert Clark.
Lulu is the finishing touch for your island-hopper. It has been configured for use with the Grumman Goose instrument panel by Dorian Davis and J.L. Stubbs which can be downloaded from AVSIM.com, filename: goose_panel.zip It can be used with other panels but it will most likely require that you have some basic knowledge in reconfiguring your panel.cfg file. Enjoy! Heather

| Alaska/BC Bush Scenery: Edgecombe Lodge, Johnny Mountain Mine, & Bob Quinn Lake |
|
File Description:
My fourth bush scenery in Alaska/British Columbia. This package includes three airstrips: the first runway at Edgecombe Lodge has an unusual inclined profile, located precariously across a ridgeline on Annette Island near Ketchikan. I've also put together a tailor-made NDB Instrument Approach plate for it. The other two, Johnny Mountain Mine and Bob Quinn Lake, are hazardous real-life airstrips along the Iskut River in BC (about 50 miles north of Ketchikan). Includes AFCAD files for FS2004 and FS2002. Although I have modified the terrain to create the runways, Eddie Denney's FS2002 mesh of Alaska is still required as a foundation for this scenery to work. Also requires Gerrish Gray's Tree Library (release 3).
