Welcome to Wanganui, a small domestic airport on the lower west coast of the North Island of New Zealand.
It is located 2 nautical miles south-south-west of the City of Wanganui,serving the city and surrounding districts.
Wanganui Airport is also home to one of New Zealand's largest and most well known aerial agricultural contractors, Wanganui Aero Work.
This scenery is designed specifically for use with the GNZLAP Special AI Release "A Flock of Fletchers",by Charl Du Toit.
This AI package is freely available here on avsim, filename....... GNZLAPA1.zip .
This scenery is REQUIRED for the AI package to work properly. Scenery requires some EZ Scnerery Object sets (see INSTALL instructions for details).

File Description:
Representation of Pacific Sun Airlines ATR42-500 for AI traffic. Pacific Sun is a new local/regional airline in the island nation of Fiji. Air Pacific, Fiji's international airline purchased local carrier, Sun Air in 2006, along with two ATR42-500 aircraft from Air Mauritius, to form Pacific Sun. Domestic service has commenced, and plans to expand regionally to provide flights to neighboring countries of Tonga, Vanuatu and Tuvalu are pending.
This texture uses the ATR42-300 model from Project AI (http://www.projectai.com/), as there is no current -500 AI model available. A winter 2006 AI flight plan for Air Pacific, including the ATR flights, is available from AVSIM or from Dust Eagle at www.dusteagle.tk .

File Description:
My fourth bush scenery in Alaska/British Columbia. This package includes three airstrips: the first runway at Edgecombe Lodge has an unusual inclined profile, located precariously across a ridgeline on Annette Island near Ketchikan. I've also put together a tailor-made NDB Instrument Approach plate for it. The other two, Johnny Mountain Mine and Bob Quinn Lake, are hazardous real-life airstrips along the Iskut River in BC (about 50 miles north of Ketchikan). Includes AFCAD files for FS2004 and FS2002. Although I have modified the terrain to create the runways, Eddie Denney's FS2002 mesh of Alaska is still required as a foundation for this scenery to work. Also requires Gerrish Gray's Tree Library (release 3).

New York Harbor cruise - passing by Ellis Island, the Statue of Liberty and the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge - featuring the marvelous model of the Circle Line Ferry, created by Ron Jeffers. This package includes a custom Afcad - using the invisible runway and taxiway technique - and a flightplan which has the Ferry cruising around the harbor every 1/2 hour. Each cruise lasts approximately 30 minutes. This enhancement has been designed for use with the default FS2004 scenery. It has not been tested with Ultimate Terrain but may work in that environment if the Afcad is adjusted. Please unzip to a temporary folder and follow the simple installation instructions. CAM3 is the local airstrip In the heart of the Cowichan Valley located on the eastern side of Vancouver Island situated near Duncan and North Cowichan communities. A short hop from both Nanaimo (CYCD) and Victoria (CYYJ) this airstrip sits atop a large gravel deposit plateau. Immediately adjacent to this airstrip is an active gravel mining operation. This scenery builds on the default Orbx airstip and adds additional elements to the airstrip and surrounding area. Designed to be compatible only with Orbx PNW scenery. Added are real life elements such as the cafe - burger joint, additional hangers, airport clutter, lighting, custom 3D people, industrial gravel operations, airport fencing, birds and other eye candy.

File Description:
This version completely redoes the previous with a more accurate representation of the entire airport. It contains four distinct areas including the main terminal, a fictional sea plane pier and shelter, rudimentary hangars, and some Polynesian huts along with a pier and sail boats in the bay just down from the airport. This Island is the closest to Tahiti, and you can even see the Tahiti airport from it. The other outer Society Islands will be coming soon. It is suggested that you also download the file Fpsimesh.zip, which has been made for FS2004, and provides a very nice alternative to the boring terrain which FS has put in this most beautiful area of the world.

File Description:
Islena Airlines, was born in La Ceiba in 1981 in the city of La Ceiba in Honduras, operated aircraft such as the Embraer 110, Let410, Shorts 360, F27 and ATR42, covering all major destinations in Honduras and Grand Cayman Island. In the decade of the 90 Islena Airlines becomes part of Grupo Taca and all their corporate image change the colors of the new group. Fleet also was replaced by ATR42 and Shorts360, the Shorts360 were removed from the fleet in 2009 and replaced by ATR42. This package includes 3 variants of the E110 (HR-IAE, HR-IAA and N685AC), AI model author Dee Waldron. Original model find on www.avsim.com. I use painkit by Josh Kubale, thanks for it.

This folder contains a repaint for the Aerosoft PBY Catalina for FSX, representing PBY-5 ZK-AMP of Tasman Empire Airways Ltd. The Royal New Zealand Air Force had 56 Catalina's in all between 1943 and 1953. They were registered NZ4001-4056 inclusive and included 22 PBY-5s (mostly MklVAs) with the remainder being PB2B-1 s. All were flying boats, with no amphibian models being taken on charge. After the war only half a dozen or so of the best aircraft were maintained in service with No 5 Sqn (squadron code became PA-) and fitted with the latest search radar which had a large radome behind the cockpit. The remainder were put into storage. Two PB2B-ls were loaned to Tasman Empire Airways Ltd (TEAL) for short periods after the war, one (which became ZK-AMI) as a crew trainer, the other (ZK-AMP, former NZ4038 PA-J) to survey a flying boat route from Fiji to Tahiti, later to become known as "The Coral Route" and used by TEAL's Solent flying boats. These two aircraft were eventually returned to the RNZAF before being scrapped.
I have included two versions, one for P3Dv5 (without reflections) and one for the earlier sims (FSX/P3Dv1-4), with slight reflections. I felt these were too shiny in v5, but feel free to try for yourself.
I did paint this aircraft earlier, this paint has been adapted and improved on all fronts.

A repaint for the Aerosoft PBY-5 Catalina in the colors of PBY-5 (Bu08450) NZ4012 XX-N 'The Naughty Nine" of the RNZAF, as it looked while flying with FltLt Guy Rogers and crew from the Solomon Islands in 1945 with 6 Flying Boat Squadron. Following Japan's entry into the war in December 1941, the RNZAF had to switch from primarily training pilots to Europe into a combat force. No. 6 Squadron RNZAF was formed as an army co-operation unit at Milson in February 1942 flying Vickers Vildebeest and Hawker Hind aircraft. At the same time, No. 5 Squadron RNZAF moved to Fiji with Short Singapores and Vickers Vildebeest and Vincent biplanes. Modern maritime patrol flying boats (and more Hudson light bombers) were requested under Lend Lease and when the first Consolidated Catalinas arrived a detachment of men from No. 5 Squadron was assigned to convert to these types as No. 6 Squadron. Before the squadron was officially formed these men successfully completed their first air-sea rescue of a downed US aircrew. From May 1943 No. 6 squadron undertook action against the Japanese. The Squadron also conducted search and rescue missions for allied aircrew and seamen, and undertook many open sea rescues. XX-N arrived in Fiji on 20 june 1943. It was declared surplus to requirements in 1951, and was broken up in Hobsonville in 1952.
