Re-create history as Flying Officer Dennis Briggs on his now famous training flight under the instruction of Ensign Leonard B. Smith, USNR (US Naval Reserve) flying from Castle Archdale on Lough Erne, Fermanagh, N.I, in the newly aquired lend-lease Catalina Mk1 from the U.S., who spotted the German Battleship Bismarck off the French coast leading to her eventually being sunk by HMS Rodney and HMS King George V. on May 27th 1941.

The Cany-Barville Castle in the beautiful Durdent valley of France has recently been modeled by Frederic Picci. This is a simple afcad for this exquisite scenery which will allow the Castle location to appear in your Map view and in your GoTo Airport menu. An AFD has been added so you can tune your AFD radio to 255.00 as an aide to locating the Castle. Complete instructions are included. cany-barville.zip is required. Compiled for your flying enjoyment by David "Opa" Marshall.

File Description:
France, In the department of the Maritime Seine (76), beside the town of Cany-Barville. Situated within the greenness of the Durdent valley, the castle of Cany offers its visitors the pleausure of dicovering the
majesty of its "cour d'honneur" and its outbuildings.
The castle still recalls to memory the severe splendour of the Louis XIII era.
Constructed on the request of Pierre le Marinier by François Mansard, the uncle of the builder of Versailles,
between 1640 and 1646,this beautiful residence never since left the family.
Thanks to Armande de Becdelièvre the castle has still preserved, to a great extent, its antique furniture. She succeeded,
indeed, in saving Cany from expropriation during the tragic hours of the Revolution.

FSX Scenery - New Castle Municipal Airport (ICAO: KUCP, FAA LID: UCP) is a small municipal airport located in Union Township, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania serving Lawrence County, Pennsylvania. Union Township is an outskirt of New Castle, Pennsylvania hence the name. The airport is located four nautical miles (7 km) northwest of the central business district of New Castle.[1] The airport is a public-owned airport and is controlled by the Lawrence County Airport Authority. The owner of the castle, Ludwig II of Bavaria, gave it to the genius of the musician Richard Wagner he particularly loved, the castle can be counted among the castles and the most visited fortresses in Europe has been open to the public since 1886 and has since been visited by 60 million people; it has been proposed for the seven wonders of the modern world. In 2013 the restoration was completed after 13 years from the beginning of the works. Important VFR point. Within the downloaded package you will find readme files for scenery installation.
