This folder contains a repaint for the Boeing B-52 by Captain Sim. It shows B-52H 61-015 "the Last Laugh" based in Barksdale, LA, which recently visited the Avalon Airshow in Victoria, Australia, piloted by Captain McCracken. She is expected to fly on for a few more decades.

|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the Captain Sim B-52 for FSX, representing 61-0025 when it was flying with NASA. NASA obtained a B-52H bomber from the U.S. Air Force in 2001, intending to use the aircraft as an air-launch and testbed aircraft to support NASA, Air Force, and industry flight research and advanced technology demonstration efforts at NASA's Dryden Flight Research Center, Edwards, CA. However, with no research projects requiring its capabilities on the horizon under NASA's restructured aeronautics research programs, the decision was made to return the aircraft to the Air Force.
Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the repaint kit by Captain Sim.
