| Bellanca Aircruiser Mackenzie Air Service Red |
|
File Description:
Real livery for this canadian Aircruiser used in the 30's. Livery to the year 1935. Registration CF-AWR. The Flying W, as it was commonly known, was originally designed as a commercial passenger aircraft, at which it showed great promise. But a decision by the FAA to require multiple engines on passenger aircraft doomed it. It went on to become a rugged and versatile bush plane, particularly in the Canadian wilderness.Textures only, requires original aircraft by Mike Stone http://www.pmstone.com/

| Canadian Armed Forces Candair CC-109 Cosmopolitan |
|
File Description:
Repaint of CANADIAN ARMED FORCES (Greg Pepper's) Convair CV-580 Military Version.
The Canadian Armed Forces to my knowledge still use the Candair CC-109 Cosmopolitan which is the Military Designation to the Civilian Convair CV-540B. Greg Pepper's great Convair CV-580 is very close to the CV-540B. This repaint was taken from an
actual photo of a CC-109 Cosmopolitan / CV-540B, which is included in this Pakage. Aircraft by: Greg Pepper. Repaint by Paul H. Nicholls at AeroDynamic Designs.

File Description:
FS2004/FSX Canadian Airlines MD-11. Fictional Registration C-GCPK. Painted on the iFDG MD-11 paint kit. Livery is circa 1998. *Textures only* You will need to add to your existing iFDG MD-11 for FS2004 or FSX. The model uses GE_PAX_B or MD11PGES (GES/GE short cone). The textures are based on what Canadian Airlines MD-11 may have looked like had they opted to purchase/lease as it would have been a natural move after they returned their DC 10-30ER's. | Frozen Canadian & USA Rivers & Lakes Revision |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
This "freezes" all lakes and rivers for winter flying and means they can be landed on with skis or wheels; it is meant for low level flying rather than high level jet flights. This edition is complete in itself and now really covers all of Canada and parts of the USA along the border, including large parts of Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, and Montana. It is reversible with an "untick" in the FS scenery library. The revision is the addition of frozen sea in the area of Baffin Island (where I and Sid & Pete have recently posted all of the Baffin Island airfields) as I missed this area last time. Sorry about that. I have spent some time making sure that the sea and the inlets along the coast in the south do not get frozen too, and also some of the lakes that are close to the coast and rarely get cold enough to freeze over. The Great Lakes do not usually totally freeze, but this is an either ON or OFF modification and partial freezing cannot be convincingly simulated, so I went for total ice. Along the north shore I went for the peak of the winter with sea ice all the way to the permanent polar cap; this is not totally realistic as there is usually a partially open lead along the coast, but as with the Great Lakes...... It will work without Ultimate Terrain, but as UT is what gets all the lakes and rivers there and in the right place (except in the far north) it is obviously much improved with UT. The pics show Rockcliffe in the winter with the frozen Ottawa River for real and in FS for comparison; without UT the river would not be in the right place.
