File Description:
The Caribou was designed as an aerial transport "truck". It was not used by the Royal Canadian Air Force in great numbers, but had success in the export market. Nine were purchased for the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1960 for use in Canada's United Nations contribution with 117 ATU. They were also assigned to 102 Composite Unit (KU) and was redesignated to 424 Squadron, at CFB Trenton, shortly after unification. The only loss was to a strafing Pakistan Air Force F-86 while on United Nations duty. In June 1971, the surviving eight were withdrawn and sold to the Tanzanian Air Force.
The Caribou was due to have a new serial range beginning with 10801 retaining the last-two digits of the prior serial in 1970. As the type was to be withdrawn by June 1971, this did not take place and the old range of 5303 and 5320 to 5327 was maintained.

This is a repaint of the excellent TDS (Tenkuu Developers Studio) Boeing 737-8 MAX V2 and V3 model, in Malta Air opb. Ryanair, 9H-VUA. Texture only. The textures are saved in 32bit format for quality graphics. Model developed by Tenkuu Developers Studio, features high resolution textures, dynamic flexing wings, nose gear steering, rudder lock, ground spoilers, low speed aileron locks at high speed, fully animated control surfaces, fully independent suspension, trim animation, opening passenger doors, rolling wheels, animated thrust reverse with reverser block doors, detailed textures, full night lighting, ground service vehicles and more. This is a repaint of the PMDG B737-800 in SilkAir (Singapore) livery. SilkAir are a regional division of Singapore Airlines and fly to more than 40 cities in Asia. They currently operate Airbus A319 and A320 aircraft, but have recently singned with Boeing for B737-800 and 737 Max 8 replacements. Delivery is scheduled from 2014 to 2021 and this repaint is based on the released images showing the -800WL model.

I used Boeing's RCAF/ARC concept picture online as a guide and "converted/painted over" one of the jets included in the VRS SuperBug package into a series of "NEW" Canadian Super Hornets...Sierra Hotel! This jet is painted in the SuperBug-Grey tones, but if you prefer the "retro/classic color" of the CF-18 I did my best to re-create that on the "#703 425th Alouettes" line jet textures (also on Avsim)
