Lockheed Jetstar Prototype Download

File Description:
FSX Aircraft - The Lockheed Jetstar was the first business jet. A four-engined aircraft, with several engine models installed, the aircraft was in production from 1957 to 1979. It entered service in early 1961. The first two Jetstars were twin engined airplanes, powered by Bristol Siddeley Orpheus turbojet engines. The second was refitted with the four Pratt & Whitney JT12 engines that were installed on all the first Jetstars. Garrett TFE731 turbofans were installed on later airplanes. A total of 204 Jetstars were built by Lockheed in several models. Military versions flew four U.S. Presidents, carrying the Air Force One designation while they were aboard (some jokingly called it Air Force One Half.) This model represents the first two Jetstars. Royal Hellenic Air Force, Gloster Gladiator Mk 2 V.2.1 Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
The Gloster Gladiator Mk 2 was the last British biplane fighter, a development of the Gladiator Mk 1 with a 3 blade fixed pitch propeller. The Mark 2 had a 830 hp Bristol Mercury VIIIA engine. During the December of 1940 the R.H.A.F. (E.B.A.) received eight Mk 2 from Egypt based R.A.F. Squadrons and six Mk 2 from Greece based R.A.F. Squadrons. All these fighters armed the E.B.A.'s 21st Fighter Squadron and operated from Ioannina's airport.

Complete aircraft. The original model, created by Thicko Bielat and Morton (panel), features the usual moving parts, such as all flight controls, spinning wheels and so on; navlights added by M.Villa. Two R.H.A.F. (E.B.A.) liveries. Completely new weathered textures by Manuele Villa.

AerArann (Ireland) - Winter 05-06 Download

File Description:
90% accurate scheduled flightplans for the winter 2005-2006 period, which have been compiled according to the company website, and cross-cheked with Amadeus database. Strangely AerArann publishes more flights than it can physically fly with their current fleet; therefore I can't pretend this time that this file is fully accurate due to the fact that I had to add one more aircraft in order to place all the flights published. For this I used the ATR-72 that they eventually leased to Aurigny (G-BWDA), but which had been returned since... AerArann flies to the following destinations: Belfast-City, Birmingham, Bristol, Cork, Donegal, Dublin, Edinburgh, Galway, Isle of Man, Kerry, Liverpool, London-Luton, Manchester, Prestwick, Sligo, Southampton, and Waterford. Schedule files fully compatible with Traffic Tools by Lee Swordy (available here). Enjoy...

1934 - Brisfit to Baghdad Download

File Description:
The idea for this real-life Flight came from the pages of the October 2007 edition of "Aeroplane Monthly', a magazine which has been the source of inspiration for a couple of Flights that I've created. In this one, two university undergraduates - one the pilot, the other a friend who wanted to go to Iraq to see his parents - fly an old Bristol Fighter from England to Baghdad via France, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Yugoslavia, Bulgaria, Turkey and Syria and then return via Jordan, Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Italy and France. The 'Brisfit' they bought for 100 pounds. Built in 1918, it had been declared surplus by the Air ministry in 1924 and was registered G-ABYE. The journey began on August 10th. 1934 and they returned on September 17th. ReadMe included with the simple installation instructions.

Air Links Canadair C-4 Argonaut Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Air Links started its operations in 1959 from Gatwick, initially with one and from 1961 with two more DC-3 aircraft. In 1962 these were replaced by a single Handley Page Hermes, which became the last still in airline service. In 1964 the Hermes was replaced by several ex-BOAC Argonauts, acquired from Flying Enterprise, the Royal Rhodesian Air Force and East African Airways. They were mainly used for charters around Europe, as well as special trooping flights for the Ministry of Defense to Gibraltar, Hanover and the Middle and Far East. Already in 1965, after the company had been renamed Transglobe Airways and Bristol Britannias has been purchased, the Argonauts were written from use and scrapped or used for fire drills. These are textures only; you will require Jens B. Kristensen's FSX Canadair Argonaut and North Star V3.0 (argo_v30x.zip). Repaint by Maarten Brouwer.

C.R.D.A. Cant.Z.506 "Airone" Postbellico (Post War) (V.01) Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
PART 2 - THE PEACETIME YEARS The post war Aironi retained their AR126 engines all the way to retirement in 1959, but they were modified to have feathering Savoia hydraulic constant speed airscrews which required new controls in the old cockpit. High power then became available for TOGA for the first time allowing take off from smaller harbours during air ambulance sorties, and perhaps overload survivor rescue. The omnipresent problem of engine overspeed disappeared, but the early series Bristol Pegasus engines remained too primitive to have cowl flaps to control engine cooling. The gondola lost its windows and ventral hatch to reduce drag. New navigation equipment and procedures were introduced.

ATTENTION -- THIS IS A FLIGHT SIMULATION SUPPLEMENT.
PART 1 - The Wartime Years (z506b_v01.zip) MUST BE INSTALLED BEFORE INSTALLING PART 2.

VC only. GMax Models and Skins by Manuele Villa, Flight dynamics by FSAviator. It also works (Tested) subject to some limitations within in FSX. By Manuele Villa/MVG3D, November 2014.
