CYQM - Greater Moncton International Airport / Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada
This airport update was made with the latest version of ADE (Airport Design Editor) and made for FSX as a replacement for the stock (default) airport. I found that most stock airports in FSX lack a decent amount of character and realism and this area in particular was dreadful! The stock airport was rather inaccurate. I've made several additions to the airport which are listed below. All these enchancements are as close to the real airport as I can get with stock library objects. I've used satellite images, terminal photos and maps throughout the whole process so building locations are as accurate as possible. Happy landings in the beautiful Canada!

Here's another Dash-8 especially for the Icelandic simmers out there or those who prefer the challenge of simming the skies and airports of the northernmost latitudes. This is one of two (2) Dash 8-106's flown by Air Iceland (Icelandic: Flugfelag Islands) and bears registration TF-JMB. Flugfelag Islands, a subsidiary of Icelandair Group, is a regional airline with bases at Reykjavik Airport and Akureyri Airport. It operates scheduled service to destinations in Iceland and Greenland, as well as the Faroe Islands. I want to give due credit to and thank Elmar Voigt, who inspired this project and repaint and worked with me to get every detail of it as realistic as possible. Some of those details include the text 'flugfelag.is' on the bottom of the fuselage (just like the real aircraft) and a tug painted in Air Iceland/Flugfelag Islands colors with their logo on the doors. All repainted textures in this package are 32-bit with no mips for maximum quality. This is a textures only package; you must have the Dreamwings Design Dash8 Q-100 model available here at AVSIM.

File Description:
Googly scenery for LELC San Javier, Spain, a medium-sized airport on the Costa
Cálida 17 miles south of Murcia. The airport sees daily scheduled traffic
operated by Canadair Regional Jets and Dash 8 turboprops of Air Nostrum but a
large proportion of the airport's traffic is derived from tourist charter
traffic from operators such as Air Berlin, Easyjet, LTU International and
Ryanair and the airport can accept aircraft as large as the Boeing 767. The
north end of the airport is home to the Spanish Air Force Academy.
Flight Simulator 2004 has made little provision for traffic with facilities only
for general aviation aircraft and this scenery seeks to redress the situation.
The scenery does not purport to be ultra-accurate. Based on high quality
satellite imagery from Google Earth, the layout is proportionally correct but the
added airport features, such as buildings, are built from default Microsoft objects
and add-on libraries so will not look exactly like the real thing.
You are not obliged to download and install any additional scenery libraries,
but to enjoy this scenery in its entirety, you may wish to. It will work fine,
with or without.

Hana Airport is a regional airport of the State of Hawaii on the east shore of the island of Maui, 3 NM northwest of the unincorporated town of Hana. The airport covers 119 acres and has one runway. It is primarily a commuter facility used by unscheduled air taxis and general aviation. This scenery is intended as a single/multiplayer helicopter obstacle course where heli pilots can meet to compete, show off, and share their helo skills. Since birdseye (Timm Turner) already did a neat scenery called Hana_Scenery_PHHN (search for "hana" in the HoverControl Downloads), we decided to convert PHHN to a full helicopter training area. Makes a great place for helo pilots to gather to practice and perfect their skills, and challenge other pilots! And keep an eye-out for that Hot Air Balloon, cruising around an altitude of 3000 feet (don't forget to wave at them!).
Another unique thing about this scenery is the neighboring islands (Honolulu Intl/Hickam AFB, Bellows AFB, Lanai City, Kahului, Molokai, etc). If you get frustrated during your heli obstacle course training, just take a heading of 275°, and relax at one of the neighboring islands.

File Description:
Kalundborg Airport – named Kaldred is a small regional field in a comfortable distance from my other FOTOREAL airport EKRK-Copenhagen Airport Roskilde. In the period 1964-76, airfield operations was yearly 15.000-20.000, and in 1976 the heavier aircrafts with retractable gear made it necessary to change the Runway surface from grass to asphalt. In 1981, the closure of Skovlunde Airfield in the Greater Copenhagen Area moved traffic to other locations like EKRK-Roskilde, and investments was made to improve service and facilities at EKKL to attract new customers, being a the perfect hub for aircraft operations to many of the small Danish islands. For many years post and News papers were daily transported by road from print in Copenhagen to Kaldred and flown to EKSS-Samsø (my last released airport).
Today six Air companies reside in Kaldred, together with Kalundborg Flyveklub. Visit Kaldred, and be sure you will get a warm welcome, and as they say in Kalundborg Flying Club, there are always coffee in the clubhouse. Included in the zip file is a version for Ultimate Terrain Europe and Dan-Vfr plus the Default scenery. Enjoy.

| Mandarin Airlines 1998 AI Package |

File Description:
Mandarin Airlines was a fully-owned affiliate of China Airlines based in RCTP. Today, Mandarin does mostly regional flying, but 1998 represented the final years of widebody operations for the carrier. The 747SPs were retired soon after, and the MD-11s and 747-400 gradually returned to China Airlines. Mandarin operated most of the US, Australian, European, and Middle Eastern flights for China Airlines at the time. Mandarin aircraft frequently swapped back and forth onto China Airlines routes and vice versa. As Mandarin had a small fleet, I elected to have Mandarin planes on Mandarin routes, but my China Airlines plans will also utilize Mandarin colors MD-11s on China Airlines routes, so the repaints in this file are required for China Airlines 1998. Swap out the aircraft as you see fit. Repaints by the talented Ranmori Scythe included for the FAIB 747-400, 747SP, and FSPX MD-11 included with flightplans by the not-so-talented Chasen Richardson. Fort Nelson is close to the Peace River in the northeast corner of British Columbia, around 70 miles from the northern border, 90 from the eastern border, and 80 miles east of the Rockies. The wartime construction of the Alaska Highway actually started from Fort Nelson, as there was already a road from Fort St John (which is close to Dawson Creek) north to Fort Nelson. The airfield was part of this construction effort and after the wartime ferrying of planes to Russia it was used by the US Army Air Force and then by the Canadian Air Force. Fort Nelson flourished with the oil and gas exploration of the 1950's and the following years, and this continued to grow until the collapse of the oil price in 2014.
The town of Fort Nelson became the capital of the Northern Rockies Regional District when it was founded in 2009, and as a result the official name of the Fort Nelson airport is the Northern Rockies Regional Airport. The date for this scenery is around 2016, by which time the economic fortunes of the town were in decline. Five times per day flights by Central Mountain Air were starting to be reduced in number to the current (in 2022) one per day and none on Sunday; in the AI included here there are two flights per day. The main resident users of the airport are four helicopter companies, the helicopters presumably used for maintenance trips to whatever parts of the oil and gas fields that are still in use in the surrounding area.
There are two runways, the main one is aligned 03-21, 6,400 feet long and 200 feet wide, with ILS at the southern end and PAPI at the northern. The second runway (a narrower rebuild on a previously existing runway) is aligned 07-25 and 77 feet wide, and is without any lights. These are the alignments as per the original build of FS9 and not as per the approximate 2016 date of the buildings; I had a problem at a very late stage in making this scenery which prevented me from continuing with some final details.
On YouTube there is a series of posts by Angle of Attack showing the preparation and then the flight of an old Cessna 172 from Homer to Oshkosh for the installation of modern instruments. Interesting for me as they visit or fly over airfields I have made (Homer, Merrill, Tok Junction, Burwash, Silver City, Haines Junction, Watson Lake, Fort Nelson, and Grande Prairie) but in the winter so it all looks very different.
