File Description:
Now, after a long construction period and many hours of free time,
the new FSX airport LIEO-Olbia-Sardinia is finally finished, of
course as always with lots of details and a few extras.........
So off we go, off to Sardinia to the Costa Smeralda, preferably
with an A 321 or a Boeing 737, where you switch to a helicopter or
a smaller aircraft and explore the landscape in detail, including
the port, which has a heli pad for them VIP guests or you can take
a fire-fighting plane and help put out the fire. Of course, in the
direction of the hot air balloons, please first fill up with water
in the sea.............
Installation:
Unpack the zip folder: then copy the FSX-LIEO-Olbia folder into
the FSX addon folder, start the FSX, go to settings, scenery
library, add area, press OK, then you can start.
Extras:
! If you already have one of these files activated in your scenery
library, you do not need to install it again.
For all extras, the respective file must be copied individually
into the Addon Scenery folder and activated individually in FSX as
described during installation.

This folder contains a repaint for the A2A WoP3 P-51D Mustang (with AccuSim), in the colors of P-51D-5-NA 44-13557 5E-E "Easy Does It" as flown by Lt Richard 'Spider' Smith of the 1st Scouting Force, 8th AF. Lt. Smith was a B-17 plot with the 303rd BG and had completed his tour of 35 missions in october 1944 when he was made an offer he could not refuse. As all pilots, he had been dreaming of flying a fighter and was disappointed when he was assigned to the bombers. He now was asked to join the newly formed scouting force, which used experienced bomber pilots to scout ahead of the bomber force flying Mustangs. After 6 hours in a T-6 and 10 hours in a P-51, 'Spider' (so called because of his physique, tall, with long thin limbs) flew his first missio in a P-51 on 6 december 1944 in an old 364th FG P-51D-5, which he named 'Easy Does It' after it's callsign E. The name 'Betty' on the canopy rail referred to his future wife back in the US, but also to a nurse he was dating in the UK. On his 26th mission, on 1 april 1945, flying lead to Leipzig, his engine caught fire on the return flight, and he had to bail out over Belgium. He broke his arm when he hit the tail on bailing out, but otherwise landed safely. He was sent home to the US and came back just before his 21st birthday, having flown 60 missions. He did not crash with this aircraft though, this was damaged during a ground collision in the winter of 1944-45, was repaired and was now flying with the 487th FS/352nd FG as Maj. 'Wild Bill' Halton's 'Slender, Tender and Tall', where it finished the war. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the A2A paintkit.

| 8AK7 - Bullen Point - Alaska North Slope 7 |

File Description:
The town of Barrow is in the far north of Alaska, and these are coastal villages or radar installations to the west, south, and now east of Barrow. There will be further additions. Bullen Point is a DEW station Air Force base 240 miles east of Barrow and 75 miles east of Oliktok. The runway is just under 4,000 feet of gravel and aligned 05-23; this is approximately at right angles to the default FS9 alignment and how that came about is something I doubt Bill Gates could explain. Most of the DEW buildings have now been removed (including the large hangar, which is unusual) but as I had a layout I made the whole site as it was originally, way back in the days when the north slope was still a wilderness. The AI is one day a C-130, on another a Cessna, and on a third a DC3. When I started this North Slope series it was my intention to create the full monty and make all the oil and gas installations and Deadhorse airport etc. I have come to realise that the oil side is impossible to make. There is so much of it and each bit is as time consuming as Heathrow while the actual airfields are more like Rockcliffe CYRO, so a lot of effort for what is just background to an adjoining airfield. But at the same time, if I make the new airstrips it is impossible NOT to make the oil installations as they are the dominating feature. So no new airstrips, and this is going to be just the 1960's or 1970's, when the oil business was only exploratory and the airfields were for villages or DEW stations, and Harmon Helmerick had his dirt strip on the Colville River estuary and was guiding hunters and fishermen and had just started to help out Sinclair Oil with oil exploration in 1966. The VC-25A is a modified Boeing 747-200F used as a dignitary transport by the Air Mobility Command's 89th Airlift Wing, Andrews Air Force Base (KADF), Maryland. There are two twin sister aircraft with tail numbers 28000 and 29000. Both are used by the President of the United States (POTUS) and the First Lady of the United States (FLOTUS) and as a dignitary transport for high level personnel for special missions. When carrying the President, the call-sign is “Air Force Oneâ€, but otherwise uses a variety of call-signs when the President is not on-board. Each sister aircraft is nearly identical to the other, with all of the same accommodations. One can fly as a “Mask†when the President is on-board the other.
The aircraft is modified with many secret aspects, and is heavier at Empty Weight than a normal 747-200F because of this. However, she normally only carries 102 souls on board with enough supplies to last for any long range flight, so she operates at a lower weight than the normal 747-200F. Due to the fortifications employed within the design, her MTOW is lower, as well. The engines are a bit more powerful than normal, and have better fuel efficiency. She has specialized equipment on-board for communications, a weather/recon radar dome (not shown in this paint scheme), and missile/aircraft countermeasures if needed. The interior is almost silent due to the high pressure cabin structure and fortified frame, including bullet-proof windows.
With all of the above, she is still the most powerful, efficient, and the fastest 747 ever built.

Package includes seven Aircraft models (wheels, floats, amphibs, skis) with 13 textures, a great flight model, authentic and awesome radial custom sounds, custom panels, easy-to-read clickable virtual cockpits, and superbly crafted exterior and interior textures.
This aircraft release is one in series of real world Avia aircraft designed by Czech engineer Robert Nebesar. The first was the Avia 51 and 156. This Avia 56 was a prototype that was changed because of engine availability, and became the 156. The next and last aircraft in the series is the Avia 57, a 14-passenger, 3-engine monoplane currently under development.

This folder contains a repaint for the Aerosoft PBY Catalina for FSX. It is shown here as C-FCRR, with Air France colors. Built by Boeing of Canada at Vancouver, it became RCAF Canso 9767 on March 4, 1943, and was allocated to Squadron 162, coded S, at Reykjavik, Iceland. In 1944, piloted by Flying Officers Thomas Charles Cooke and Eric Walter Wiskin, 9767 sank the German U-boat U-342 off the coast of Iceland on April 17. The amphibian was removed from the military service on April 1, 1946. The same year it was sold to Canadian Pacific Airlines, registered CF-CRR and assigned fleet number 233 (later 933), it was operated until 1959, thereafter by Northland Airlines (1960-1968), Midwest Airlines (1969-1970), and Ilford Riverton until 1973. The registration was changed to C-FCRR when Avalon Aviation acquired it as a water bomber in 1977, listed as Tanker number 791.
In 1995 the aircraft was bought by Powell Eorp. Of Parry Sound, Ontario, subsequently it was owned by the Canadian Air Legend. The French pilot Franklin Devaux bought C-FCRR in 1995 and converted it to a flying television studio, it was based at Le Bourget, Paris, France. During 1996 C-FCRR was the star of monthly French television programme Operation Okavango, while in September 1998 it was the eye catcher of the three-week Champs-Elysees (Paris) static air show. The following October the aircraft started an 8,078 mls (13,000 km) trip to Chile via Dakar (Senegal) and Natal (Brazil) to commemorate early Air France South Atlantic mail service, returning to France in June 1999. On January 19, 2002 the aircraft was stored at Orly Airport, Paris, and has not flown since. Its Canadian registration was cancelled on October 7, 2005. EPGO Goraszka 2010 - The Airshow Challenge is a freeware, extremely detailed scenery of a general aviation airport located 12nm (20km) south-east of Warsaw downtown and Warsaw Frederic Chopin International Airport, Poland. EPGO Goraszka airfield was built in 1994 and currently belongs to General Aviation company, which offers aero-taxi flights, air transport and special flights (air photo, patrol) and airport services. The airport has a 800m-long runway and a lightened helipad, which can be used by helicopters up to 5700kg weight. General Aviation's fleet includes Antonov AN-2, PZL-104 Wilga 80, Bell 407 and 427. Since 1996 the International Air Picnic Goraszka is organized every year by "Polish Eagles" Foundation created on initiative of Zbigniew Niemczycki.
The scenery is equipped with an automatic installer. Currently we support a safe, manual way of adding new sceneries to Scenery Library in Flight Simulator. This is just one thing users need to do for themselves. Detailed instructions will be given during the installation process.

This is V2, the combined original and also V1. If you have already installed V1 then you do not need this. The town of Seward (population around 2,700) is on the east coast of the Kenai Peninsula, 70 miles east of Kenai town and also 70 miles southeast of Anchorage, amid mountains and glaciers at the northern end of the 20 mile long and fjord-like Resurrection Bay. It is also at the southern end of both the Alaska Railway and the Seward Highway, and has a sheltered dock for freight and also for cruise liners. Passengers from the liners can enjoy local attractions (dog sledging on a glacier?) and also easily continue further north by bus or train to Anchorage or to other tourist attractions such as Denali. The airport is next to the port and the town, with two runways aligned (in FS9, not taking account of the recently wandering magnetic north) 15-33 and 12-30, both asphalt and 2,100 and 4,200 feet long respectively. Only 12-30 (and its taxiways) is lit, with VASI on 30. There are no regularly scheduled flights to Seward; with buses and trains running direct from Anchorage there is no money to be made. There are some charter flights coordinated with cruise liners, and some freight flights, the very occasional visit by the Coastguard, but most flights are GA, air taxi,or short scenery-viewing trips for summer tourists. In a mountainous area the only sure thing about the behaviour of AI aircraft is that it is unpredictable but often involves a mountain; nothing to be done about it. At Seward there is also marine AI from and to the port, in the shape of a cruise liner and an Alaskan ferry, but the latter only if you have Holger Sandmann's Alaska scenery installed. Also included with this is a correction for Fire Island 6AK5, near Anchorage, that takes the airfield out of the water; this is something I have meant to do for the last 5 years.
