Enhanced Water Textures

File Description:
After trying loads of water packages, all excellent in there own right, taking the best bits from various sources and also re-editing the water textures, we came up with a mix we think is a great balance of texture and colour resulting in what we think is a true and more realistic seascape. Water Reflection Replacement Textures

File Description:
The Golden Eagles Squadron presents alternative sparkling water with sun and moon reflection textures. They add a more dynamic quality to the fs2004 water with sun glints and vigorous wave action as would be seen on a sunny windy day. Caution, these textures are only for DX9 compliant cards and will not work unless you can move the "Water Effects" to High in your display options! Night water FS9 reupload

File Description:
This is the description from the read me: In the real world, at night, water appears all black. You can't see it from the air unless there is a moon reflection. To get this effect in fs2004, all water display effects have to be set to minimums. Not any more! Now with Real Night Water, you no longer have to mess with your diplay settings. The water appears black and there is even waves and moon reflections, just like in the real world. No more silver glaze over the water at night. It will work with default textures but was designed utilizing xtra Water by FullThrottleSims/Hector Davila (xtrawater.zip) which is highly recommended and freeware available on this site. Replacement Overcast Water Texture

File Description:
The default milky "white/green" texture is highly unrealistic in very grey overcast conditions such as we often find here in Europe. The replacement texture will change this to a more convincing "blue/grey" cast. Version 2 has a darker blue/grey than my version 1 and presents a more realistic colour and in particular it's much improved in "dark overcast" conditions. Version 2 also offers better transitions from "overcast" conditions to "clear" conditions. It should be understood the default "milky green - overcast water texture" colour is dependant on the display settings. The replacement texture supplied will only work on DX9 compliant video cards. You must be able to move the "Water Effects" slider all the way to the right! If not then don't install them as you won't be able to see them!
