E-tailer Mercado Libre secures dedicated cargo capacity
Following in the footsteps of Amazon, Latin-American e-tailer Mercado Libre is securing dedicated cargo capacity from third party carriers in order to speed up deliveries to their customers. Previously, Mercado Libre solely relied on belly-cargo with scheduled carriers.
The company has founded logistic platform Meli Air, which will contract other carriers to carry out the operations. The first airline that has been contracted is Brazilian carrier Sideral Linhas Aéreas, which will operate four of their B737-400SFs for Meli Air in Brazil A first one, PR-SDM, has now been painted in a bright Mercado Livre-livery. This is a package of Tabuk Regional Airport/ King Faisal Air Base (OETB). ​An international and public airport in ​Tabuk​, ​Saudi Arabia​. Despite being an international airport, it only serves a few foreign destinations. There are plans to increase the number of international destinations to other neighboring countries. The airport has a single ​terminal​ building which uses air bridges for planes to disembark and load passengers. The airport was named after the late minister of Defence and crown prince ​Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz​. The military side of OETB is rather busy, being the home of basic and advanced fast jet training utilizing the BAE Hawk MK65 and now the MK165, there are around 50 sorties a day flown by 21 and 79 Squadron. The Royal Saudi Air Force Aerobatic Display Team is also based here (88 Squadron). The only fighter unit based at OETB is number 2 Squadron that operate the F-15C/D and is responsible for the protection of the North West part of the Kingdom, this was previously a responsibility shared with 29 Squadron that operated the Tornado ADV but they have since been withdrawn from service. Exercises often take place with visiting air force’s from across the Gulf and beyond. The air base is constantly evolving adding more shelters for aircraft.

| Air Viking Vanguard 952 TF-AVA |

File Description:
The ex Air Canada Vanguards acquired by Air Holdings were flown by many airlines in the early days. Many of them were only for a short time as startup airlines took them on with high hopes only to fail or change direction. Air Viking was one of two Icelandic airlines leasing Vanguards in 1970-71. Operating this single Vanguard from a base in Keflavik it flew to many destinations even flying as far as the Canary Islands. Delivered in June 1970 it was repossessed by Air Holding when the airline failed in December of that year. This particular machine came of note when, as CF-TKD it flew the first TCA Westbound flight on 01 February 1961 and again when flying for Invicta as G-AXOY it made the last ever UK passenger Vanguard flight flying a Luton-Luton charter on 26 October 1975. Sold to EAS as F-BXOH it did not enter service but was stored as a spares source at Perpignan. Requires the FSDS Vanguard model by Rick Piper.

AFCAD2 File for :
Amsterdam, Schiphol Intl Airport, the Netherlands ( EHAM )
for NL2000 Scenery .
with Runways 06 and 36R for landings and 36C and 36L for take-offs .
I have put this one 2 times on Avsim, but I didn't adjust the Runway assignment properly .
NL 2000 team was not pleased with my version by the same name AF2NL2K29v2_EHAM.bgl,
so I have adjusted it to AF2NL2K29 v2svw_EHAM.bgl on request of NL2000 .
!! Forget about my previous releases, they don't work properly , this one must do . !!
NL2000 will release their own version with multiple runways shortly, and I hope they can manage
to make the other Runways work, as I can't make them .
Anxiously waiting for that one .

This is my first attempt at a actual repaint of a real airplane. It came out rather good if I say so myself. It is still a learning process. Request for repaints should go to http://www.simforums.com/forums/forum_posts.asp?TID=11356&PN=1 There are a few people doing them now, so hopefully one of us should be able to do it. Just keep in mine it does take some time to do the more difficult ones. Lines and number changes on a white plane can be done faster... This is a reworked version. The first one had a small painting eror on it. Just reistall it and it will over right the old one..

File Description:
BAC 1-11 432FD VP-BCY as operated by Bahamas Airways between November 1968 and the Spring of 1969. The carrier leased this One-Eleven till the One-Eleven 517FEs the company ordered were delivered. Bahamas Airways was liquidated in 1970 when an attempted take-over by the the Bahamian government was stymied by owners BOAC, so the carrier's flirtations with the One-Eleven range were short-lived. Textures only - you'll need the original 111-400 model by David Maltby's DM Flight Sim (http://www.dmflightsim.co.uk/). All daytime textures for the fuselage, vertical stabiliser, tailplane and engines are of the 32-bit variety, but everything else is a DXT3. No added sugar OR mip-maps either.

Famous Frederick II castle in Puglia, near ANDRIA. It represented also in italian 1 eurocent coin.
For FS2002 and FS2004, best with Italy Landpack 4 and an accurate mesh scenery (such as Mauri's one).
Install it in an active scenery folder (or create a new one and make it active), casteldelmonte.bgl in the scenery folder and casteldelmonte.bmp in the texture one."

It was the most important Italian bomber of World War II, this tough three-engined aircraft established a reputation that contrasted with most Italian weapons of the day, and it was flown with courage and skill. SM.79s served widely in the normal bombing role, but it is as a land-based torpedo bomber that the type deserves its place in military aviation history, being regarded by many as one of the finest torpedo bombers of the war. In spite of its cumbersome appearance and outdated construction, with an internal provision for 2,750 lb (1,250 kg) of bombs, supplemented by under fuselage rack for a torpedo, the S.M.79 was a rugged, reliable multi-role medium bomber which did quite a bit of damage in the face of heavy opposition. About 1,300 production models were built over a nine year period. The SM.79 had a distinctive 'hump' on the upper forward fuselage, which housed both the fixed forward-firing heavy machine-gun and the dorsal gunner's position. Its appearance earned the aircraft the nickname 'Gobbo Maledetto' ('Damned Hunchback'). During the last phases of the war the surviving SM.79s were converted into various versions of utility transports and used in that role until 1952.

This is a repaint of the Douglas C-133B Cargomaster in the USAF scheme. The freeware Douglas C-133 Cargomaster by Tim Conrad is needed for this repaint - link provided. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should work on FSX & FS2004. Textures for FS2004 users are included. Textures are 32bit DDS & DXT3 BMP. The C-133 was conceived as an air transport for the USA's large missiles, and was designed to meet the requirements for the USAF’s Logistic Carrier Support System. The Douglas designed C-133 Cargomaster first flew on 23 April 1956. In fact, Douglas built 50 of the turboprop powered C-133 Cargomasters from 1956 to 1961. It was the largest turboprop transport ever to be accepted by the U.S. Air Force. In 1958 the C-133s began flying MATS air routes throughout the world, and two Dover based C-133s established transatlantic speed records for transport aircraft on their first flights to Europe. The fleet of 50 aircraft proved itself invaluable during the Vietnam War, but fatigue problems led to their withdrawal from service in 1971. The aircraft was a marvel in its era, but it was soon under the microscope as the accidents started accunmulating. Throughout the 15 year service of the C-133 9 were destroyed in accidents and one was written off. Having said that, the C-133 was the first wave of turboprop and jet powered giants to come onto the scene in the post piston engine era, and was followed by the C-141, and the giant of them all the C-5 Galaxy. This aircraft, 590524, was with the 60th Military Airlift Wing MAC. It was retired on Jun 16, 1971, and scrapped by end of 1974.
