| Nakhon Phanom Royal Thai Air Force Base (NKP) |

A model of Nakhon Phanom Royal Thai Air Force Base (NKP). Situated in the far northeast corner of Thailand right across the Mekong River from Laos, NKP was the smallest, remotest, and most primitive of the Thai airbases utilized by the US Air Force. Many of the operations conducted at NKP were top-secret. NKP was the headquarters of "Task Force Alpha", the underground command center directing "Arc Light" bombing of the Ho Chi Minh trail. The 56th Air Commando Wing employed a variety of fixed wing aircraft and helicopters for interdiction, close air support, psychological warfare, search and rescue, forward air control, and clandestine insertion and extraction of special operations personnel in Laos and North Vietnam. One of the key covert missions conducted at NKP was "Operation Igloo White", which involved the planting and monitoring of electronic sensors along the Ho Chi Minh Trail. Air America used NKP as a base to supply the various hill tribes in Laos.
This is the fourth in a series of Vietnam War era Thai airbase models. (It was preceded by Ubon, Udorn, and Korat.)

FS2002 Grumman American AA-1 Yankee. A 2-seat single-engine 108hp bubble-top aircraft, modeled after Hawg One's real airplane. The AA-1 is actually Jim Bede's first design (aka the BD-1), which was purchased, built and sold by American Aviation. Three versions included: N188FW (Hawg's plane), N5724L (as purchased), and N14RS (fictional). Visuals by Rans14. Panel and flight dynamics by Hawg One. The SAR (Search and Rescue Air) of the Spanish Air Force (FAE), the Fokker 27 is a long-range aircraft (1000 nautical miles range) and up to 11 hours of battery life maximum, depending on the flight profile. This unit soon moved to Gando Air Base in Gran Canaria and depending on various provisions was changing its name to the present denomination of 802 Squadron Air Force and RCC Canarias.

Repaint for the payware, First class simulations / Abacus MQ-1 Predator for FSX in RNLAF liveries.
The Royal Netherlands Air Force does not have Predators (yet) in their inventory however,
the RNLAF plans on the acquisition of MALE UAV's. The package contains two MQ-1 RNLAF liveries; one armed and one unarmed.
The Sqn logo is of the long disbanded and fictionally re-activated 325 ISR/COIN Sqn 325 used to be a fighter Sqn).
You need the original payware MQ-1 by First class simulations / Abacus in order to use these repaints. Enjoy.
