This is -Finally!- the first update for the default Sharjah airport on Avsim in a long while, that replicates the latest changes to the airport as of 2015:
-New runway 12/30 with ILS.
-Old runway 12/30 is now Taxiway "B".
-Added all current aprons and stands according to the latest charts and google maps.
Please read the README file before installation.

| KLM Douglas DC-6 |

File Description:
Having been an operator of the Douglas DC-2, DC-3, DC-4 and DC-5, it seemed only logical that KLM (celebrating its 90th anniversary in 2009) purchased the DC-6 for its long-haul routes. Seemed, because KLM already operated the Lockheed L-049 Constellation, the DC-6's competitor. Nevertheless, Connie and DC-6 marched on together quite well. Enclosed in this package are five repaints of DC-6's during several stages in their life with KLM. The 1957 livery of PH-DPP was an interim-livery (see the 'old fashioned' white lettering and the early-fifties style cowlings). The 1962 livery of PJ-DPI seems to have been an attempt to fit into the new house style of KLM without having to respray the fuselage, as the DC-6 reached the end of its KLM carreer anyway. These are textures only. You will require Jens B. Kristensen's Douglas DC-6 (dc6_v20.zip). Original textures by Jens B. Kristensen. Repaints by Maarten Brouwer.

This file is a Commercial Demo!
The Sukhoi Su-27 is a one-seat Mach-2 class jet fighter originally manufactured by the Soviet Union, and designed by the Sukhoi Design Bureau. The Su-27's basic design is aerodynamically similar to the MiG-29, but it is substantially larger. It is a very large aircraft, and to minimize its weight its structure has a high percentage of titanium (about 30%, more than any of its contemporaries). No composite materials were used. The swept wing blends into the fuselage at the leading edge extensions and is essentially a delta, although the tips are cropped for wingtip missile rails or ECM pods. The Su-27 is not a true delta, however, because it retains conventional tailplanes, with two vertical tailfins outboard of the engines, supplemented by two fold-down ventral fins for additional lateral stability.

The Eurofighter is a single-seat, twin-engine, agile combat aircraft which will be used in the air-to-air, air-to-ground and tactical reconnaissance roles. Developed by Europe is leading aerospace companies, Eurofighter Typhoon is now in service with the Air Forces of Germany, Spain, Italy and the United Kingdom and will fulfill Air Force requirements well into the 21st Century. Aircraft production is ongoing and with 638 aircraft under contract to the four Partner Nations and Austria, as the first export customer.
The design of Eurofighter Typhoon is optimised for air dominance performance with high instantaneous and sustained turn rates, and specific excess power. LGKA - ADE enhanced scenery, Aristotelis Airport Greece. FSX scenery only, no big frame-hits - uses only default scenery objects.
One night this winter, I tried to land at LGKA. The regional airport Aristotelis, since I was on my way to Turkey and finally Israel.
When I was cleared to land, with a visibility around 1 or 2 N.miles I couldn't find the airport even though the VOR and NDB guided me straight to it.
Suddenly the airport appeared as I passed over it. There was no lighting at the airport even though charts promised me lit runways. The airport was barren, desolate. So that meant work! With the aid of ADE I added runway lighting, added some buildings, a fuel trigger and other stuff to have a nice airport in NW Greece. Not completely 100% accurate where buildings are concerned, but just fun. It 's yours. if you want it. AVSIM upload only

Tiger HAP is an air-to-air combat and fire support medium-weight (6 tonnes) helicopter fitted with 2 MTR 390 engines. It is daytime and night combat capable and is operable in NBC environments. Three basic parameters were taken into account right from the start of the development phase: low (visual, radar and infrared) detectability, which provides excellent survivability on the battlefield, maximum efficiency of the weapons and the associated fire control systems without heavier workload for the crew, and an optimized logistic concept offering minimum possession costs.
The Tiger HAP is fitted with a 30-mm gun turret, 68-mm submunition rokets, and air-to-air Mistral missiles. It also features a firing sight with 3 sensors: infrared, TV camera and direct optical channel. The complete avionics suite includes multi-purpose color displays and radar/laser warning receivers.The Tiger UHT is a multi-role fire support helicopter.

Re-upload. FSX/FS2004 KLM Douglas DC-4-1009 PH-DBT. Built at Santa Monica, CA (c/n 42908). Powered by four 1,450 hp Pratt & Whitney Twin Wasp 2SD13G or Pratt & Whitney R-2000-11M2 engines. This was the first 'real' DC-4 delivered to KLM on 16 March 1946, following the delivery of 18 ex-USAAF C-54 Skymasters. The aircraft was registered PH-TAT, named 'Twenthe'. On 29 March 1954 PH-TAT was re-registered PH-DBT and sprayed in an attractive modern version of the 'Flying Dutchman' livery. It was sold to Air France on 3 June 1958. After having flown with Trans Europe and Vargas Aviation it was impounded in July 1975 by the government of Niger and stored. The DC-4 has probably been scrapped since. These are textures only. Re-upload. FSX/FS2004 NGAT Douglas C-54A Skymaster. Immediately after WWII had ended in Europe, KLM director Dr. Albert Plesman travelled to the USA. He visited President Harry Truman and succeeded to persuade the President to have a batch of 18 Douglas C-54A Skymasters delivered from the Surplus Property Board, in order to (re-)establish several medium- and long-haul routes and - from February 1946 on - the KLM Indies route from Amsterdam to Jakarta, then named Batavia. For several reasons, a.o. the sensitive political situation with regard to Indonesia (by then still a Dutch colony called Netherlands East Indies), the aircraft were purchased by the Netherlands Government Air Transport and carried military roundels and serial numbers, although they were used as civil aircraft. Later on they were sold on to KLM and received civil registrations. These are textures only. You will require Jens B. Kristensen's great Douglas DC-4 & C-54 (dc4_v21.zip). Vadodara International Airport (VABO) for FSX and FS2004.
Virtual aviation community stands basically on the grounds of what happens in the real world aviation and simulates the real thing, virtually. So that means they always have to be a step ahead and we follow. But my friend, we have a chance to make them follow us. Thats right! The proposed (final) integrated terminal at Vadodara shall have its construction commenced in mid of 2013 (the time can be altered, as real dudes define the situation). The design is finalized and here it is ..... the airport is basically " A basin kind".
Vadodara Airport or Civil Airport Harni (IATA: BDQ, ICAO: VABO) is a civilian airport located in the north-east of Vadodara, Gujarat, India in the suburb of Harni. A domestic airport until now, Vadodara Airport will become an international airport once the proposed new terminal is operational.
