FS2004 Scenery - Telluride Regional Airport (IATA: TEX, ICAO: KTEX) is a public airport located 5 miles (8 km) west of Telluride, in San Miguel County, Colorado, USA. It is the highest commercial airport in North America, at an elevation of 9,078 feet (2767 m) above sea level. Located on a plateau, the airport's single runway literally dips slightly in the centre. It is owned by the Metropolitan Airports Commission. Look for trains passing the airport. Requires the ai train set by Mitsuya Hamaguchi (ai_sl.zip). AFCAD file by Ray Lunning. The airport covers 970 acres (393 ha) and has three runways. It offers commercial airline service subsidized by the Essential Air Service program. Joplin Regional Airport is owned by the City Of Joplin. The longest runway is a paved runway extending 6503 feet. The facility is at an elevation of 981 feet. FS2004 Aircraft - The Sky Arrow 650 TCNS is a tandem seat aircraft designed and manufactured in Italy by Iniziative Industriali Italiane (Meteor) S.p.A., a company manufacturing gliders, airplanes and Remotely Piloted Vehicles since 1947. This version of the Sky Arrow has been designed as sport and recreational aircraft, as well as for training, research and aerial surveillance. The Sky Arrow 650 TCNS, being almost entirely made of carbon fiber in epoxy resin, features a strong composite structure and therefore has a very high strength to weight ratio. FSX Aircraft - The Convair 600 is a conversion from a Convair 240 aircraft with the original piston engines replaced with Rolls-Royce Dart turboprop engines. The CV-600 first flew with Central Airlines on 30 November 1965. The CV-600 aircraft that flew with Air Metro Airways was configured as a forty passenger airliner. FSX Scenery - Dawson City Airport (IATA: YDA, ICAO: CYDA) is located 8 nautical miles (15 km; 9.2 mi) east of Dawson City, Yukon, Canada, in the Klondike River valley, and is operated by the Yukon government. It has a terminal building and like most airports in its class, the runway is not paved. The gravel runway is 5,006 ft (1,526 m) long and at an elevation of 1,215 ft (370 m). A number of studies have recommended moving the airport or realigning the runway as it is in a narrow mountain valley. The airport is classified as an airport of entry by Nav Canada and is staffed by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA). CBSA officers at this airport can normally handle aircraft with up to 15 passengers, but are equipped to handle daily Boeing 737 charters between Dawson City and Fairbanks (Fairbanks International Airport) during the peak summer tourism season.
