Cross Country Short Hops. This scenery package contains 13 airports from the east coast to the west coast of the USA. The longest leg is 229 nm and the shortest leg is 136 nm. Start from either the east coast (Montauk Airport, KMTP) or the west coast (Little River Airport, O48 (now known as KLLR)). Eleven of the 13 airports are new designs. Two airports are previous releases and are included here. Tested in default FS9 and with Ultimate Terrain. By John B. Loney, Jr.

FS2004 Scenery - Naval Submarine Base New London Groton CT. On the east bank of the Thames River near Groton, CT, New London Naval Submarine Base was the birthplace of the submarine force. It was originally a Navy yard, converted to a submarine base in 1916, and greatly expanded in World War II. The advent of nuclear power required an improvement in training and support facilities. By 1959, New London had become the largest submarine base in the world with 8,210 active personnel. The base was recommended for closure by the DoD in the 2005 BRAC Recommendations. This general aviation airport covers 273 acres (110 ha) and has two runways and one helipad. The airport is the current base of operations for the Travis AFB Aero Club. FS2004 Scenery-Athens-Ben Epps Airport (KAHN) serves Athens and Clarke County and is owned by Clarke County. The airport has more than one runway. The longest is a paved runway extending 5522 feet. The facility is at an elevation of 808 feet at a distance of about 3 miles from Athens. The airport is named for Georgia's first aviator, Ben T. Epps Sr., who began building and flying airplanes in Athens in 1907 and opened Ben Epps Airport in 1917. Scenery created using FSDS2, Rwy12, Lago's FSE, with AFCAD2 and Traffic Tools. | FSX - Aircraft Beechcraft Beechjet Update |

File Description:
FSX Aircraft-The Beechcraft Beechjet 400A version 2. The Beech Aircraft Corporation acquired the Diamond II executive jet from Mitsubishi in December 1985. It was then marketed as the Model 400 Beechjet. The first Beech assembled aircraft rolled out on May 19, 1886. It wasn't until 1989 that the Model 400A was introduced featuring increases in payload and ceiling. This version is visually a model of the 400A Beechjet, my first version was visually that of the Model 400. There are two added features in this version. That's reflective textures and visual thrust reversers. It's a great plane to fly. Model, originally for FS9 has been updated to work in FSX. By John B. Loney, Jr.

Located 7 miles north of Scottsdale's downtown area, and in close proximity to a wide range of world class resorts, hotels, restaurants, and golf courses. Scottsdale Airport serves Scottsdale and Maricopa County and is owned by the City Of Scottsdale. The paved runway extends for 8251 feet. The facility is at an elevation of 1508 feet. Scenery created with FSDS2, Rwy12 and Lago's FSE. Requires AFCAD2 and Traffic Tools. Textures included.

The facility is at an elevation of 228 feet and is about three miles from Highgate. Download incorporates FSDS3, Rwy12, EZ Scenery and Lago's FSE. Also a new AFCAD2 file and AI Traffic via Traffic Tools. FSDS3 textures included. Rwy12 and EZ Scenery libraries required.
