File Description:
In 1977 the novel "Imperial 109", by Richard Doyle, was published. The story is based on the flight of an Imperial Airways Short 'Empire' Class flying-boat, "Caterina", on its journey through Africa to Cairo and onwards through Europe to England and finally across the Atlantic to New York. When I read this novel just recently I couldn't help but think that it would make a wonderful Flight for Flight Simulator, and the fact that the characters and storyline was fiction was of no concern, because the airline, the aircraft and the route flown were real. I also considered that the best way to present this was to publish it as an unfolding story in blog format, in the same fashion as the Sir Alan Cobham flight around Africa which I had undertaken. Therefore I present you with "Imperial 109" for Microsoft Flight Simulator and you can take part by following and flying the updates as I present them online.

File Description:
FS2004 ELVA B737 Pack Update to v3. This file will upgrade my ELVA Boeing 737 Pack to version 3. Version 3 includes some major and minor updates. It also adds new features: Heat Haze (shimmer) effects plus smoke effects by Martyn Becker, Reverser Spray Effects by Edward Cox and Takeoff Spray effects by Dennis Franke. Fly UK Virtual Airways liveries are also included for Fly UK members to use as well. I have also created a low spec system option so that low spec users can use my boeing packages but with less features. See the readme file for more details. Patch by Peter Slater, uploaded by Gareth Abbott. Big thanks to those named here. Credited as asked. File Description:
AB Airlines of England wore many faces in the short 6 years it was flying. Originally Air Belfast, the airline would launch several divsions each doing different flying, which included Air Bristol, AB Airlines Shannon, and 737-300 Holiday charter flights marketed as AB Airlines. The scheduled services were flown by Bac 1-11-500s, and all ended by 1999, with some of the routes being handed over to British Airways. Included is a FAIB 737-300 texture by APG Designs and Christian Gold. Flightplans by Alex\Funk and Chasen Richardson. File Description:
EasyJet was founded in 1995 with 737-200s based primarily out of London Luton(LTN) providing low fare and often high frequency service to the London area. By 1998, the airline had already transitioned from 737-200s to 737-300s, and had 3 different livery variations, which are all on Avsim for the FAIB 737-300 by Eduardo Villanueva as: "easyjet_737s_90s.zip". One such variation was decals asking to "STOP BA and STOP GO!", in protest to British Airway's low-fare carrier called "Go Fly" which was launched to fight EasyJet. British Airways was unsuccessful, and EasyJet is one of the largest airlines in Europe today, though now with an all Airbus fleet. Flightplans by Vadim Stepanyuk. | Inter City Airlines (Guernsey livery) Viscount 724 G-BDRC |

File Description:
An extra V.700 was acquired from Air Inter but as V.724 was an odd member in the fleet. It went straight out on lease to Intra Airways and later served with Dan Air before comming back to Alidair to fly for Alidair Scotland. After The sister company Guernsey Airlines lost its own Viscount this aircraft was transferred and appeared in full Guernsey livery as "Sarnia II". Later it went back to DAN Air for a month before later appearing with Intercity logo on the fin as shown here. It retained it's Guernsey livery until the end of Inter City whereupon it was stored at Guernsey. Bought by Janus and flown to Exeter it was found on overhaul to be suffering from severe corrosion. It was transported by road to Manston, Kent to serve on the fire dump.

| Air Anglia Douglas DC-3's |

File Description:
Air Anglia was founded on July 21, 1970, as an amalgamation of three companies, Norfolk Airways, Anglia Air Charter and Rig Air. The airline started life with one DC-3 (G-AMPZ) and no scheduled services. Soon after, the airline lodged application for its first scheduled service from Norwich to Edinburgh and Aberdeen. And, in October 1970, it announced its first service to the continent, linking Norwich with Rotterdam.
To co-incide with the increasing network, the airline acquired three more DC-3's, G-ANTD, G-AOBN and G-AGJV. In 1972, the first jet-prop Fokker F27 Friendship arrived, and gradually these faster and more sophisticated aircraft replaced the DC-3s. G-AOBN and G-AMPZ were the first to be sold, with G-AGJV soldiering on flying scheduled weekday cargo service from Aberdeen - Amsterdam - Norwich and return. G-ANTD was broken up for spares at Norwich.

File Description:
This is version two of my AFCAD2 for FRF-Studio's PIT scenery. The size of the gates, gate assignments for the airlines, and runway usage assignments have been updated. The GA and cargo ramps have been added, as well as a special gate D77 for Commutair just like real life. Gates have been assigned not only by the airlines' true gates, but also their RON gates. I recommend updating your AI if need-be, especially if you use PAI's US Airways package, as it includes the now-gone transatlantic flights, and the old international gates they used are now USA 3000's, just like real life. American mainline doesn't fly here anymore, but the code's still there for when they come back. Screenshots can be viewed by clicking on "ZipDive". You will need the KPIT scenery by FRF-Studio. I can not guarentee it works for the default KPIT.
