File Description:
KG991 was a Liberator of the 321 squadron, Marine Luchtvaart Dienst, (Dutch Naval Air Force) as based on the Cocos Islands, 1944-1945. After the war it was used to drop provisions over internment camps in Java and Sumatra. It crashed in december 1945. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom for the AlphaSim 2008 Consolidated B-24 Liberator.

The v3.2 update will make it possible to choose from up to 4 pre-installed additional Onboard Service announcements with the help of the Transponder Panel or SPU-7B Interphone Mini Panel (v3.1 SCS Tu-134 Edition), for example hot meal & entertainment for long-range flights, drinks for a short flight etc.
IMPORTANT: FS Announcement Panel v3.0: AUTOMATIC and v3.1 Update (or along with v3.1 SCS Tu-134 Edition) are required and should be installed prior to installing the update. CabinCalls is a flyscript for Fly!2k and Fly! II that will add some flightdeck atmosphere to your flights. It is tailored for airliner, commuter and business flights. You will hear announcements from the cabin and flight attendants, checklists and safety briefings. You will also hear several calls (gear and flaps status, airspeeds) to assist you in the busy phases of the flight. CabinCalls has been optimized to work with C4TO by Marc Schrier, Pushback Pro 2 by Tim Rotunda, the take-off speed call script airspeed.fsc, which was originally written by Anthony Merton and Marc Schrier, and the GPWS (Ground Proximity Warning System) script, also by Anthony Merton.

Ex 43-15329, to KLM as PH-TBV, to KLu as X-2, to F-OAEL, to D-CADI, to FinnAF as DO-5. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom for Manfred Jahn's C-47 version 3.14, based on the paintkit by Gman5250.

This folder contains a repaint for version 3.14 of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of X-1 of the Dutch Air Force. The Dutch Air Force received her first Dakota's in 1952, although they owned one in 1946, but that crashed near Katwijk the same year and was destroyed. That one carried the registration X-1, but that is not the subject of my paint... The Air Force later leased one C-47 from the KLM, gave it the military registration X-2, but it kept its civil registration, PH-TBV, on the tail. Later they leased a few more, and clearly they liked them, because they bought a few more in 1952. The first one was taken on charge in 1952 and was numbered X-1 as depicted in this repaint. The makers badge with its construction number was missing however, and nobody seems to know where this aircraft came from. The logbook mentions the aircraft was 'found'. There was a rumour that the aircraft had been used by refugees from the east and landed at Valkenburg airfield without registration. About a year later, in
the aircraft made an emergency landing near Valkenburg after taking off for a relief flight for the flooded areas in the south of the Netherlands on 6 februari 1953 and was written off.Repaint by Jan Kees Blom for Manfred Jahn's C-47 version 3.14, based on the paintkit by Gman5250.
