The fourth of the coming P-166 aircraft series. I'm going to built the whole family of these graceful twins.
The Piaggio P-166A is a light small twin. An Exotic two-engined prop that sold all over the world including America, UK, and Australia. The BL2 version has some great improvements with respect to the older series: the new IGSO-540A1C engine pulls the aircraft at top speeds up to 180 Kts and performs great at high altitudes due to injected fuel. Comes with longer re-modelled nose for greater aerodynamics that lets install new advanced avionics. The larger tiptanks improve greatly the plane's range. The First BL2 is dated 1975. Its origin is traced Back to the Piaggio P-136, a light anphibian, wich the P-166 keeps the wings, the engines and the tailplanes. The first P-166A flew in November 1957. The aircraft is still in production in a slightly modified turboprop version, the P-166D-P1. This model is 788 Kbs with c.a. 23000 polygons in c.a.170 assemblies. Features Clickable Dynamic VC with non-planar throttle quadrant. Detailed internals. Fully compatible with FS 2002 (pro edition)

It is a stand-alone package comprising all my AI ship packages and fixes released until April 2016 including 86 new models released in 2016. | VT ANG Air Museum Collection - Part 2 |

File Description:
The Vermont Air National Guard was organized on 1 July 1946 at Burlington Municipal Airport and was federally recognized as the 134th Fighter Squadron on 14 August 1946 making it the fifth US ANG unit so formed and recognized. Since that time the VT ANG has flown eight different aircraft types in its primary mission and several more in support of it. The primary mission aircraft flown include the P-47D-40, P-51D-25, F-94B, F-89J, F-102A, EB-57B, F-4D, F-16A and the current F-16C. The mission support aircraft flown include the L-5, AT-6C, AT-11, C-47B, T-33A, C-45H (?), C-54G, C-131D, C-12F and C-26A. The VT ANG has a small air museum near the main gate to their base at Burlington
International Airport which currently includes a T-33A, F-94B, F-89J, F-102A, F-4D, C-47B, C-45H and C-131D. My virtual VT ANG Air Museum Collection for FS9 is an attempt by an old 134th FS veteran to duplicate and expand upon the actual VT ANG Air Museum. This second download package, vamc2.zip, includes my VT ANG repaints of the AT-6G Texan by Cliff Presley, the P-51D Mustang by Andrew Wai and the P-47D Thunderbolt by Krzysztof Malinowski/Greg Pierson/Tom Kohler.

This is a massive update for the Piaggio P-166 Series aircraft. This Package contains a whole update for ALL the models,(P-166A\M\S\BL2\CL2\DL3\DL3-SEM\DP1) and a pilot handbook in html format. You can read it in the full large version or in the reduced size version re-adapted for the electronic FS2004 kneeeboard as "Reference". All aircraft refer to the same file, so after the introdution to the P-166 and her main characteristics, individual links to the single P-166 versions are included (only "Kneeboard" version). The main improvements in the FDEs are a nice stability making the plane just fly strigght-and-leveled easily, re-calibrated flap and fuselage drags, wich makes for better max speed and landing characteristics. Also flaps and landing gear pitch moments are lots reduced. Now the plane respects the Specs of the real thing completly, even matching the changes from version to version!! in newer versions, engine power output has been recalculated, as well as new payloads and fuel capacities: you can litterally load the passangers and baggage you wish...but don't try to exaggerate, going overweight is not that complex...for instance, try placing a 9999 pounds copilot and guess what happens...

Thanks to Andrew Spring of www.p166.com!! The Piaggio P-180 Avanti is a Luxury Jetprop. Its design is the result of a "thinking outside the box" project philosophy. It means that building techniques are standard while aerodynamics are unique for it's kind. It features a three lifting surface design, laminar flow wing and twin pusher turboprop configuration. Passenger comfort features the possiiblity of standing in feet inside the plane, low noise due to pusher propellers and "Pininfarina" designed arrangement. Performances are unique too, cruising at 395 KTAS (260 KIAS) at 28000 ft, a jet-like speed, being the P-180 a twin turboprop. The result is a 40% reduced operational cost respect to a jet of similar size, and 30% less respect to a similar size turboprop, all at same price of a small Jet. This model is 804 Kbs with c.a. 19000 polygons in c.a.170 assemblies. The seventh of the coming P-166 aircraft series. I'm going to built the whole family of these graceful twins. The Piaggio P-166A is a light small twin. An Exotic two-engined prop that sold all over the world including America, UK, and Australia. The P-166DL3 is the actual production version of a plane that firt flew in 1957, now with turboprop engines, new avionics, increased fuel capacity, and completly new hydraulic and electric system. Its origin is traced Back to the Piaggio P-136, a light anphibian, which the P-166 keeps the wings, the engines and the tailplanes. The first P-166A flew in November 1957, and the DL3 is dated 1976. The APH version (Aero-PHotograammetric) was originally built featuring a flat bottom with opening holes for cameras and orher devices, planning to use the unit for logistic squads, that never formed. So the APH internal features were generally limited to Military high density transport, paratrooper transport, or Cargo. Units fitted with APH original projected photogrammetric capibilities are very rare. he SEM version can be esily identified by the big sonar under the nose, the FLIR under the left wing and a search light on the right wing. It' a maritime antismuggling patrol aircraft, and it's used by the italian Cost guard and "guardia Di Finanza (Finance Guard). The aircraft waits to be repalced by a new version, the P-166DP-1, with PT-6A engines.
This model is 740 Kbs with c.a. 21000 polygons in c.a.160 assemblies. Features Clickable Dynamic Photoreal VC with non-planar throttle quadrant. New here is the photoreal panel. Detailed internals.
