| P-47D 334th FS "the Deacon" & "Missouri Kid" |

File Description:
This folder contains two repaints for the Shockwave Wings of Power III P-47D Thunderbolt, representing two aircraft of the 4th FG /334th FS. Included are: 1) 41-6484 QP-L "the Missouri Kid - Sho-Me", the first aircraft assigned to Ralph 'Kid' Hofer. He scored only one P-47 victory, but in a different aircraft. QP-L crashed on 2 december 1943, killing it's pilot, F/O John P. McNabb. 2) 41-6576 QP-J "the Deacon", one of the P-47's flown by Major Howard D. 'Deacon' Hively. He baled out of this P-47 on 15 june 1943 into the Channel, after being shot up by fighters over St.Nazaire. He was picked up by an ASR launch and continued to fly for the 334th FS. FS2004 Scenery - Dover Air Force Base or Dover AFB (IATA: DOV, ICAO: KDOV, FAA LID: DOV) is a United States Air Force base located two miles southeast of the city of Dover, Delaware. Dover AFB is home to the 436th Airlift Wing (436 AW) of the Air Mobility Command (AMC), known as the "Eagle Wing", and the AMC-gained 512th Airlift Wing (512 AW) of the Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC), referred to as the "Liberty Wing". It was the only base to solely operate the massive C-5 Galaxy, with two active flying squadrons (the 3rd Airlift Squadron, which now operates the C-17 Globemaster III, and 9th Airlift Squadron) and two Air Force Reserve flying squadrons (the 326th Airlift Squadron and the 709th Airlift Squadron). | Boeing B-17G (HB791) |

File Description:
Repaint for the A2A B-17G in the colors of B-17G-40-VE 42-98021, which was given to the RAF in the summer of 1944. 42-98021 became Fortress III HB791 of the Coastal Command's 220 Squadron. It was assigned call letters ZZ-T and flew out of Lagens, Azores for coastal patrols and a bit of sub hunting. Was normally equipped with 12 400lb bombs or 16 250lb depth charges. The cheek guns were removed and the ball turret was replaced with radar, like a 8th AF pathfinder. It was transferred to the 521 Squadron in 31 Aug 1945, where it became the last B-17 used by the RAF before being Struck Off Charge and sold to International Alloys on 11 March 1947.

| Colorado Lakes Project IV |

File Description:
This project features the lakes of North Central Colorado, replaces all of the prominent reservoirs and lakes of the region (Dillon, Green Mountain, Granby, Williams Fork, and more), and adds over 500 highly detailed lakes to Colorado. They fit seamlessly with my "Colorado Lakes Project III" (colorado_lakes_project_3.zip), "Colorado Lakes Project II" (colorado_lakes_project_2.zip) and "Colorado Lakes Project I" (colorado_lakes_project_1.zip) lakes.
These lakes are specifically designed to show off their photo realistic detail when used in combination with "FSGenesis-The Rockies 38.2m Terrain Mesh-Colorado" available as "fsg_dem38m_usrk_co.zip" at avsim.com, or comparable mesh. The free FSGenesis US National Landclass Project Beta 6 also adds beautifully to the landscape. These lakes work equally as well with the default mesh.
All lake information was projected from satellite imagery and compiled with a beta version of Jim Keir's "Slartibartfast" utility.

This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Wings of Power III P-47D Thunderbolt, representing P-47D-15-RE 42-76181 B4-X "Special Delivery", the aircraft of Lt. Samuel "Sack"Saunders of the 388th FS/ 365th FG. Lt. Saunders came from Wellington, Kansas, and was one of everybody's favorite pilots, always smiling, very sharp and a leader when flying. He shared one victory over an Me 109 with Andy Smoak when the squadron was jumped by Germans on August 19, 1944, and had a solo victory over an FW190 during the turkey shoot on October 21. He chased the 190 over 50 miles before hitting it in the nose, causing the ammunition to explode and the pilot to bail out. "Special Delivery" was destroyed on the ground during operation Bodenplatte, the luftwaffe attack on January 1, 1945. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Martin Catney.

IAI Kfir C2 (Fuerza Aerea Ecuatoriana). I present a comprehensive AI traffic model package for the Israeli Aircraft Industries Kfir (Lion Cub). Going into operational production in 1975 as a new-build Israeli re-design of the venerable Mirage III/5 series, this aircraft, in late form, is still in service with several air forces to this day. An original 7-LOD model pays homage to this wonderful aircraft in the flightsim world. This aircraft, just like the real-deal, is a fair re-work of my original Mirage 5 model; with new wings, gear, fuselage, tail, and other goodies. This retro package includes the Kfir C2 and Kfir TC2, in previous service of the Fuerza Aerea Ecuatoriana; with 9 models and 18 repaints. Original aircraft model, flight dynamics, some effects, and textures by Michael Pearson; tremendous amounts of help from Michael MacIntyre and Frank Safranek.
