File Description:
This is a complete revision to California Central Coast Scenery CCCOASTU.ZIP that was uploaded 9/13/05. This revision involves most of the files and replaces CCCOASTU.ZIP in it's entirety so the original version of CCCOASTU and it's Revisions 1 and 2 or any other versions of my CCC scenery are NOT required.
The primary goal for this revision was to replace as many API objects and effects as possible with XML/MDL library objects. The original intent for making these conversions was to begin to prepare for the FSX version of CCC scenery if that becomes practical. Because I also made several improvements and fixes during that process and because performance was improved due to use of object libraries I realized it might be appropriate to upload the results as a revision.

This one touches down in New Orleans in the days prior to Katrina. It is a great and true to life route better done in a small jet commuter like the CRJ-200. It was written 4 years ago and can be flown in FS-X or FS2004.’ Please remember that some of the freeware addon files I refer to were for FS2002 at the time. You should be able to find newer ones to replace them.

It consists of a minor revision to the CCC_LIB.BGL object library to remove crash sensing from the distance remaining signs at the SBP, SMX, SBA and VBG airports. This one was written back in 2003, for Computer Pilot Magazine. Many maps and approach plates. Another cargo run suitable for a B747, B727, Airbus etc.. Japan Airline (JAL) cargo run to USAF Kadena Air base in Okinawa City. This one is also a favorite of mine, written back in 2002. It was based on a route flown by a good friend of mine, Stellan Himerby, who is/was a pilot with SAS. At the time, Stellan also had a good web site and a great DC-9 for download. I notice that it is now gone. But read on anyway and fly this great, still flown, route of SAS. You will be flying it exactly as they are still operating this route! Please keep in mind the date it was written. You might find some frequencies that have changed, that I might not be aware of, but as a whole, it should still be fairly accurate.
