UPDATED 01/07/2007. This is a updated skin pack from my previous upload. These textures were created with a new template and have better alpha textures, also there is less dirt than the previous versions.
This is a repaint skin pack (textures only) for the Payware CWDT F6F-3 Hellcat, found here: www.simarket.com. This pack contains 4 sets of repaints, representing 4 planes from the VF-27 aboard the USS Princeton, 1944. Thanks to CWDT for building this beautiful aircraft. Special thanks go to Jarink, who is a repainter in IL-2/PF. Jarink was kind enough to send me his layered photoshop files of the Noseart that I used for these repaints. I also used his repaints as a guide for my repaints.
This texture represents "Ole Doodle Bug" one of the B-17G Flying Fortresses of the 385th Bomb Group, 8th Air Force.The B-17G started seeing action with the 385th in November, 1943 and continued until the end of the war. The Checkerboard group markings on the tail were adopted in February, 1945.
"Ole Doodle Bug" assigned to the 551st Squadron. This aircraft returned to the USA.

File Description:
Modern scenery of Beja Air Base in Portugal. The base, originally designed for use by the German Luftwaffe in 1964, now trains pilots for the Portuguese Air Force using Socata TB-30 Epsilon and Alpha Jets. Lockheed P-3 Orions form 601 Sqn in the maritime role and Alouette III's of 552 Sqn perform various transport, training and SAR duties.
Other downloads are required in order to use this scenery, details in the readme.
