File Description:
Naval Air Station Sigonella, "The Hub of the Med", is a U.S. Navy installation at NATO Base Sigonella and an Italian Air Force base in Sicily, Italy. Although a tenant of the Italian Air Force, NAS Sigonella acts as landlord to more than 40 other U.S. commands and activities. It is located 15 km west and 11 km south of the city of Catania. Sigonella also serves as an Italian base for the 41º Stormo Antisom (41st Antisubmarine Warfare Wing). Among the aircraft that fly from this island base are U.S. Air Force C-130, C-17 and C-5 airlifters as well as KC refueling aircraft and a rotating squadron of forward-deployed U.S. Navy P-3 Orions. The Italian Air Force also fields the venerable Breguet Atlantic patrol aircraft. It is one of the most frequently used stops for U.S. airlift aircraft bound from the continental United States to Southwest Asia and the Indian Ocean. File Description:
Bethel Airport is a state owned, public use airport located three nautical miles (6 km) southwest of the central business district of Bethel.
Construction began September 21, 1941, and the airfield was activated July 4, 1942; it is also known as Bethel Air Base. It was used by Air Transport Command as auxiliary airfield for Lend-Lease aircraft being flown to Siberia. The facility was transferred to Eleventh Air Force, then to Alaskan Air Command in 1945; it became the joint-use Bethel Airport. It was used for construction of AC&W Bethel Air Force Station in mid 1950s. Full jurisdiction was turned over to Alaska Government in 1958.
Added and adjusted aprons and buildings. Also added additional parking. Added runway 1R/19L.Re-numbered runways to conform with AirNav data.
Created with Airport Design Editor 9x by ScruffyDuck Software using current FAA documentation and Google Earth measurements, this package offers a replacement for FSX's stock airport. All these enhancements are as close to the real airport as I can get with stock library objects and custom buildings.

| Grumman G44A Widgeon ZK-AVM Sea Bee Air |

This folder contains a repaint for the Grumman G44A Widgeon by Flysimware. It shows Grumman G-44A Widgeon #1466 ZK-AVM in the colors of Sea Bee Air it wore in 1978. It was built in 1946 as a G-44A, but later converted to Super Widgeon. It was imported into Australia in 1947, flying for the Australasian Petroleum/Vacuum Oil Co in New Guinea as VH-AZO. AVM was imported into New Zealand in 1950 , flying for Amphibian Airways of Invercargill. It 1962, the company was acquired by Tourist Air Travel, which in turn was bought by Mt Cook Airlines in 1967. When Mt Cook decided to stop with amphibian operations in 1975, and a group of staff created Sea Bee Air, which shut down operations in 1989. ZK-AVM had been sold to Australia in 1987, becoming VH-WET, but came back to New Zealand in 1994, now flying for Salt Air. It is currently no longer airworthy, but its owner, Owen Hamish is reported to plan bringing it back into the air. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom.
