This is my first attempt for scenery modification for FS2004 using Google Sketchup buildings. I developed this scenery project to add more prominate buildings to the Washington DC area that were missing from the default scenery. All new buildings have been created and/or modified using Google Sketchup, converted with ModelConvertX and placed in FS2004 with InstantScenery. MegaScenery Mid Atlantic was used as a guide for accurate placement and makes a great addition, but is not necessary.
I went through great links to minimize the drawcall on each individual item to help reduce framerate hits. For my system, I found that setting the display settings in FS2004 to Medium High and turning off AI traffic was optimal while using both D.C. files in concert with MegaScenery. You might need to experiment.

Re-upload. FSX/FS2004 NGAT Douglas C-54A Skymaster. Immediately after WWII had ended in Europe, KLM director Dr. Albert Plesman travelled to the USA. He visited President Harry Truman and succeeded to persuade the President to have a batch of 18 Douglas C-54A Skymasters delivered from the Surplus Property Board, in order to (re-)establish several medium- and long-haul routes and - from February 1946 on - the KLM Indies route from Amsterdam to Jakarta, then named Batavia. For several reasons, a.o. the sensitive political situation with regard to Indonesia (by then still a Dutch colony called Netherlands East Indies), the aircraft were purchased by the Netherlands Government Air Transport and carried military roundels and serial numbers, although they were used as civil aircraft. Later on they were sold on to KLM and received civil registrations. These are textures only. You will require Jens B. Kristensen's great Douglas DC-4 & C-54 (dc4_v21.zip). Original textures by Jens B. Kristensen. Repaint by Maarten Brouwer.

She's a "Cathay Pacific", DC6A Combi Passenger, Large Spinners. The Livery is a Fantasy 1960's Era, and Depicts CPA's DC6. During My Time in the Far East, in the Mid 60's, We saw Many Cathay Pacific Jets in a Gorgeous Livery. At one time Cathay did Fly DC6's, in the 50's.I have down loaded a Repaint of a 50's CPA DC6, which is Very Nice. What would this Airplane Look like in a Jet Job Mid 60's Livery, the Result, REALLY Elegant. Try it ON and let Me know what You Think ?? File Description:
VARIG B.737-36N PP-VPT C/N 28566-2964.
A waited reinforcement for the Traffic 2004 VARIG standard supplied flight plans.
VARIG Boeing 737's in his differents variants(B.737-2C3Adv,B.737-241,B.737-2K9,B.737-2Q8,B.737-219,B.737-33A,B.737-36N,B.737-3K9,B.737-341,B.737-3Q8,B.737-4YO,etc)are the workhorse for the nationals and internationals flights in this inmense land.
I have included a serie of 90 Flights to the main national and international destinations,all served with 737 and the timetable and numbers flights are the rights one of this year 2004.
Many flights are corrected to be acomplished with the 737 and not the Douglas DC-10(out of service by VARIG long time ago, only a few remmants for cargo with VARIG Logistica).
Also included a new complete revised AirFile for the 737-300 type(17-04-04).

File Description:
Thought there might be some purists out there frowning at the previous round canopy. I have completely reworked the FX texture files to allow you to drop a number of yellow-clad smoke-jumpers in the traditional free-fall arch position from the DC-3, JU-52, DeHaviland Otter, and now the C-130. They now sport the modern parafoil chute rather than the older round canopy. Editing the included text insert (door location) for the aircraft.cfg file will allow them to jump from any other plane of your choosing as well.
I no longer have FS2002 so was unable to test this with that FS version.
I wish to thank Mr. Pierino Primavesi for his kind permission in allowing me to modify the FX files he made for his Luftwaffe version of the JU-52. Visit his site at: http://www.ju52-3m.ch/ for more of the latest updates for the Junkers JU-52. Payware quality for free. You can't go wrong.

Fuerza Aerea Venezolana C-47A-5-DK FAV-1840,C/N 12386 builded by the Oklahoma City production plant for the USAAF as 42-92571.Ex RAF KG377,G-AJAV,N19D,YV-E-EPO and YV-T-RTC.FAV-1840 was the last operative C-47 of the FAV,retired in 2003,after his reactivation for display purposes in the 80s.He was also the only FAV C-47 to wear a operational camouflage.The first 20 C-47s were delivered to the FAV, Escuadrón de Transporte No.1, in 1947 together with the presidencial DC-4 and retired of service by 1971. The base textures for repainting are by Mark Beaumont, original textures are by Jan Visser.Repainted by Daniel Nole.In order to use these textures, you must already have the MAAM-SIM payware DC3 and the MAAM-SIM D-Day C-47 'Skytrain'and Dakota Mk III Expansion Pack installed in your FS2004 aircraft folder.

Fuerza Aerea Argentina C-47A-90-DL T-20,C/N 20158 builded by the Long Beach production plant for the USAAF as 43-15692.Ex NC60942,Aerolineas Argentinas LV-ADF,and latter with the FAA also as TC-20.Saled to Chile, preserved today as CC-CLK with the Museo Nacional de Aeronautica de Chile.The Fuerza Aerea Argentina take the first 16 C-47s in service in 1947;by 1966 Aerolíneas Argentinas DC-3 were retired of service and taked in charge by the Fuerza Aerea Argentina inventory.Not less of 38 C-47s were listed with the FAA fleet. Some planes were latter transfered to Bolivia and Paraguay.
