Pan American DC-4 1945 colors This is Jens Kristensen's model repainted by Dave McQueen, May, 2006, textures only. The original aircraft is available at www.Avsim.com. You must download and install his DC-4 model for FS2004 to use these files. Look for DC4_V10.zip. Pan American World Airways C-54/DC4 in bare metal colors circa 1945. At the time Pan Am had not yet begun adding specific "Clipper" names to their post-war fleet but did include the title "Pan American Clipper" on the cheatline. N88888 was later renamed Clipper East Indian, Bonita, and Cinerama. ----

Douglas DC-3 BEA 'Pionair' G-AHCZ

File Description:
G-AHCZ was a Mk.III built in Oklahoma City and delivered to BOAC in 1946. It was transferred to BEA in 1947 and named 'Charles Samson', becoming a 'Pionair' Class DC-3 with modifications including an air-stair door. It flew the last BEA service between Northolt and Jersey in 1954 and was transferred to Cambrian Airways in 1959. Based on Jan Visser's legendary DC-3 model for FS2000, updated for FS2002, with transparent cabin windows, nightlighting, lit 3D interior with opening air-stair door and other details. Includes FS2002 lights fix by Paul Pridmore. Default panel and sound. Packaged by Mark Beaumont.

Val-U-Prop DC-3: Coast-to-Coast with American Airlines 1937

File Description:
Following as closely as possible an authentic American Airlines flight plan from about 1937, this is an NDB to NDB flight with GPS and ATC for FS2002 users (just place the files in the "myflts" subfolder of the "Flights" folder), with a text file that includes all NavAids, headings, etc., for all users to print and follow. The route leaves Newark and flies in seven stages to: Chicago; St. Louis; Tulsa; Dallas (Meacham); El Paso; Phoenix, and finally to Burbank, California. The route can be flown using a DC-2 or DC-3, and is scenic, fun and challenging.

Douglas DC-3 Bare Metal Aircraft 3-Tank Package

File Description:
This standalone package based on the default DC-3 as a 3-tank ship includes the latest edition of Mark Beaumont's 'IFR' panel, and incorporates Beaumont and Bitzer's 3-tank "no ALL tanks" and automixture modifications for the stock airfiles. Supplied with one bare metal livery in a new aircraft folder to which you can add other texture sets in the usual way. Easy to install, this may appeal to those who would like a more contemporary panel for the DC-3 and who have not previously installed Beaumont and Bitzer's various modifications for the default aircraft.

Special Effects for Default DC-3.

File Description:
FS2004 Special effects for default DC-3. Customized engine startup smoke and high altitude contrails are now enabled by MS for use on each aircraft, jet or prop, single or multi-engine, by using the FS9 version of the aircraft.cfg's [EFFECTS] section to specify them. The temperature below which the contrails occur can also be defined in aircraft.cfg by the user. DC-3 startup smoke, contrails, and tire- mark (14" wide) are included in the d/l. Also fixes wrong prop rotation; has more scrape points/effects for bellylandings. Easy manual installation with all new filenames.

Aeroejecutivos Douglas DC-3 YV-440C Caballo Viejo (Old Horse)

File Description:
Douglas DC-3 Aeroejecutivos, registration YV-440C and named Caballo Viejo (Old Horse), was one of the Aeroejecutivos aircraft, for charter and touristical flights inside the venezuelan territory. Actually rest at the Caracas Airport, waiting its finally destiny. Based on repaint templates by Mark Beaumont and original textures by Jan Visser, this texture set in the Aeroejecutivos livery requires the base DC-3 package available from Mid Atlantic Air Museum Simulations (MAAM-SIM) at www.maam.org. Requires previous installation of OY-BPB C-47 package (BPB_FS9.ZIP). Installation instructions are included. By Roberto Leiro and Juan Ernesto Oropeza.

KPOY Powell, Wyoming Airport

File Description:
Powell, Wyoming was a major stop-over for Frontier Airlines starting in 1950 with DC-3's for people going from Billings, Montana to Salt Lake City, Utah and points in-between. A nice little airport that needed alot of help. I discovered this airport flying the Frontier route in my DC-3 and didn't like the looks of it at all! So I fixed it. It has a 6175X100' asphalt runway and 2 dirt-grass useable runways. Look at the default pics and then see what lots of help from Google Earth and FS Earth can do to a sad airport.

A Fictional repaint of Caledonian pmdg MD-11. British Caledonian Airways initially ordered three Md-11's But due to financial difficulties in 1988, BCAL as it was affectionatly called, was taken over by British Airways and the BCAL dc-10's were repainted into this Caledonian paint scheme to come into line with the British Airways network. The Dc-10's were based mainly on routes out of Gatwick but also could be seen when covering for other flights out of London Heathrow.You must have the great PMDG MD-11 model to use this repaint.I hope you enjoy.
